What is /k/'s opinion on the Tavor SAR and x95?
The MTAR21 (military version of x95) replaced the M16 as the IDF's official wepon. Seems like the best 5.56 bullpup on the market to me, but Ive only done a limited amout of research.
Is it worth dropping 2g on this milspec, bullpup beauty or should I just stick with my AR15?

I want to get a 44mag revolver. Right now I'm liking the S&W 629 with a 5" barrel.
Anyone own one and have had any issues with it? Anything better out there right now? Revolvers aren't my go-to gun, I only own 1 (a 586) so any advice is good advice.

30-06 would be fine. If you are serious about elk hunting, maybe consider a 300WinMag or 7mmRemMag. Any of the budget rifles, save Remington, will be okay. Personally, I would lean more towards the Savage Axis, though the Marlin XL7, Mossberg Patriot, and Winchester XPR are all generally okay.
Most cheap scopes are made on contract by Chinese companies and can vary from model to model. Most 3-9x40 Chinkshit is servicable, though not really good. If you can, buy a Redfield.

30-06 is fine.
You can buy one of Savage's rifle packages at almost any gun store that sells hunting rifles for very cheap, and Savage makes genuinely good rifles made in America.
A Savage Axis II XP would probably be something up your ally.
Pic related are also really nice but the price is going to go up when you factor in a scope + rings.
For scopes I would recommend Redfield, which is Leupold's entry level brand that practically the same.
And yes, 30-06 is great for deer and elk. Don't listen to retards on here that think if you shoot an elk with anything short of a 300 RUM you're not going to break it's skin.

i know two guys who served with them, one says it's nothing but a meme and the pay is shit
the other is an almost 70 years old Italian, who served with the FFL paras, back in the day when the legion just entered the path to becoming a meme. that guy is a fucking lunatic, literally. A killing machine, fitter in his age than i could ever get with my 25 years. Guy got legion tattoos with parachutes and shit all over his body, and a huge Waffen SS logo on his shoulder as his platoon commander was a German veteran.
I've been waiting for an opportunity to write something about him on /k/, but it doesn't really matter as OP doesn't have a timemachine and can't join the FFL when it was cool.

Alright /k/, we talk about games, movies, and tv shows that trigger our autism, we also talk about ones that soothe it. How about we talk about ones that manage to do both at the same time? For me its pic related:
>Large selection of weapons to choose from
>Most of them are modeled well and have nice animations that are done correctly
>Guns with translucent mags actually have rounds modeled in them that deplete as you shoot
>Has a mod system that gives a really nice sense of control over how the guns look and feel
>Has some nice weapons that are very rarely seen in other games ( Carl Gustav M/45,VHS,Original AK5)
But:
>Several weapons are locked behind a dlc wall
>Some animations are still pretty shit (Every revolver has their cylinder flicked closed) and dont account for some things (you load the mosin with 5 rounds from a stripper clip regardless of how much ammo is left in it)
>The mod system has some nonsensical stats with certain mods, like flashhiders increasing damage and other stats
>You have to make some of the nicer looking guns look like shit for them to have better stats.
