Browning Hi-Power vs S&W Model 39?

They both seem like great guns, but is there an outright winner?

S&W. Always S&W.

Always.

S&W 39
>Weight 28 oz./1.71lbs (0.78kg)
>Length 7.55” (192mm)
>Barrel length 4” (102mm)
>Capacity: Single-stack 8 round 9mm
>Double/single action

BHP
>Weight 35oz./2.2lbs (1kg)
>Length 7.8" (197mm)
>Barrel length 4.7" (119mm)
>Capacity: Double-stack 13 round 9mm
>Single action
39 will be marginally thinner, shorter, and lighter, but could be made into an ASP if you have the money. The BHP has more ammo at the cost of being heftier, but has that 1911-esque appeal. I personally prefer the S&W 39.

> “Like most rights, the right secured by the Second Amendment is not unlimited…”. It is “…not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose.”
what did he mean by this?

Private property?
Like if a property owner doesn't want someone to be armed on their property, they can tell that person to fuck off
>>
>>30507788
not to hand out guns in a prison?
those sorts of things perhaps..
>>
Just to understand, does he mean that the rights are limited whenever they reach a point where they would inherently infringe on another right, and that some weapons are inherently unconstitutional?

I'm wondering what is better to use when going out in hunting without having to use a firearm.

Is the long bow better or would that go to the compound bow in terms of hunting without a firearm.

Also which knife would be best for skinning a deer and cutting the meat if it had to be just one knife only?

>>
Use a compound bow if you have no talent or skill what-so-ever.
>>
Compound bows are far superior to recurves for hunting
>>
What's the major difference? Cost and maintenance?

As another Cali-bro, I would advise you that it isn't stolen; it has simply been reappropriated to a PoC who us whites have exploited thoughout history.

If you get sentenced for breaking the law then so what? Not only were you a handgun owner (which shouldn't belong to civilians anyway), your ancestors got away with there crimes and you are paying the price. Karma can be a real bitch.

By the way, please no racism against any of the communities that I mentioned. I am white, just like you.

What does everyone think? I have the p238 Extreme now & have no real complaints w it. But its my carry gun & I noticed they managed to make the Kimber a couple ounces lighter, and every little bit helps imo. Is it worth it?

Thoughts on the Ruger LC9s Pro? I've had mixed experiences with Ruger, but there's just something about this pistol that appeals to me. Are they reliable? Any common problems? How are they to shoot?

Rugers are great for reliability and Ruger has a great warranty on them

The finish comes off and they're not fun to shoot, but they're very good for low budgets
>>

They shoot bullets reliably for a cheap price with zero comfort or added feature.

I noticed that they now make a "gold" cerakoted version. I'm not keen on gold color, but anything is better than bluing for a concealed-carry pistol.

Would a gun chambered in 6mm flobert even be considered a firearm by US federal law? This thing produces fewer foot pounds than a lot of pellet guns.

Yes it would.

Fun fact. I have a pistol chambered in flobert. For training dogs and horses to not be gun shy

Interesting to know. I started considering parlor pistols or rifles for discreet garage shooting since I can't make it to the range. Maybe I'll try to pick up a flobert rifle since no pistols yet.

The bat may be used to as a cane though, in order to turn and face the legged man. The bat can also intercept kicks with great effect. Once the legged man is down, he won't have a cane like the no-legged man.

How do I get my wife's son to learn how to shoot? He is afraid of guns (he says they are loud) but I want him to learn at least to shoot my Sig so that he can actually defend himself in an emergency. He says he doesnt want to shoot an assault gun.

What do I do?
22 posts and 4 images submitted.
>>
Earplugs with shooting muffs over them. He will have trouble hearing you, but the gun won't be loud.
>>
>>30506965
Earplugs + muffs, start with a .22 or something low recoil so he doesn't develop too much of a flinch. Does he consider your pistol as a 'assault gun' ?
>>
>>30506965
Plugs and muffs.
Gun will be still kind of loud, but not ear rupturing loud.

Has anyone here tried making a PVC pipe bow? I usually consider myself relatively handy, buttfuck me if I haven't successfully made one of these yet just to msee if it's something I could learn to be good at. So far I'm 0 out of 3 attempts (in my defense 2 of the attempts were with pipe too thin). I made a basic pvc longbow with fiberglass driveway posts as a core, but it's a bit overpowered and probably pulls at upwards of 70-80 lbs, so I'm trying to make one that's a bit easier to shoot till I get the basics down.

Also, archery general I guess? Tips for new shooters would be very welcome.

Just get like a $20 shitter bow from Walmart and some extra arrows.
>>
>>30506947
They only have youth bows and don't currently sell arrow shafts, just the tips and nocks and such as its not currently bow season. Because that's apperently the only time people need archery supplies
>>
>>30506875
Start with something basic for your first bow.
A longbow off of Amazon will do, 45 lbs is what I started on and now I shoot at 130.

Don't lose your arrows and some music while shooting never hurts.

Make sure you learn the different types of bows and their uses as well.

Califag here asking for some advice.

with recent bills passing over here making it harder to purchase an AR in the future, would it be worth it to invest in the KSG, specifically because of the 7+7+1? Watching vids from guys on youtube who do some testing on the KSG say as long as it isnt the first gen, you're good. however comments are always 50/50. thank you.

I have a first generation KSG and I've literally never had a problem with it. You have to take care not to short stroke it but that's been my experience with every shotgun ever; the difference, here, being, is that a failure to feed can be a little more difficult to clear. I don't know that would be significantly different in a second gen model.

The second gens do have more viewing ports in the magazine tubes than the first, which only has one for the last shell in each.

If you're interested in the KSG you should also give Standard's DP-12 a look. Same concept as the KSG but in a double barreled configuration. More expensive, but if you're budget-conscious, why are you looking at a KSG in the first place?

The population of Ireland is too inbred and retarded to realise their rights aren't recognized fully by their government and history PROVES this.

The government has straight up lied to the population and taken their guns from them in the past (said they needed to take them for a month for registration but refused to give them back afterwards)

The government has enacted the death penalty for firearm ownership in the past (albeit very briefly)

They decide on a case by case basis who gets a firearms license, if they've "sufficient moral character" and a "legitimate reason" for one and the population sees nothing wrong with this.

In regards to free speech, the constitution "guarentees it" while also hypocritically stating "it may not be used to undermine public order or morality or the authority of the State", essentially making the "guarantee" null and void due to the government having the power to decide what's "undermining" it's authority.

During WW2, the government successfully censored the media to prevent any reporting on either side of the war; favouring the Allies or Axis.

The civil war shows that the Irish people have no qualms about killing their own family members over political ideals, never mind someone from across the country thus showing that when push comes to shove the powers that be won't bat an eye to ordering the army to kill swathes of the population who eventually rise up.

The rebellion only happened 100 fucking years ago and people have already forgetten how much blood sweat and tears were spilled through even acquiring the weapons to make it possible (hint: years of planning and failure after failure)

Am I being fully autistic here /k/ or am I correct in saying the Irish population should wake the fuck up and force the necessary changes or die trying?

You can't force anything on a "democratic society" OP unless you have the resources to manipulate the masses. Best bet is to find a group that is advocating your rights and support them.

The Scots had a referendum to bail on the UK. Why can't you cucks? Especially Northern Ireland, who wants to deepthroat the EU's cock and fondle the balls? You and Scotland can take turns swallowing the EU's load.

But seriously, what is stopping you guys from having a vote to git out? Apparently Britbongs don't just tell the Scots to fuck off and demand that they stay in, so why not go about trying to leave?

Not that the EU wants you to have guns, but you could always try to get weapons and weapon laws to your benefit prior to that time/refuse to join the EU (even if it appears that most of your population is already on its knees waiting to rejoin)
