Your wife/gf is a now better shot than you, more skilled with firearms than you and can beat you up easily now.
How does this make you feel?
>>30521898
My wife is already a better shot than me with handguns. Feels good man, rounds out the family quite well since I am pretty good with long guns.
afraid
a pillow shouldn't be able to do that
>>30521898
>now have a gf that shoots and can beat you up
my life is complete
So /k/, I shot a gun for the first time in my life today, and I had a fucking shit ton of fun. I honestly don't see how anyone could want to not have a gun.
I honestly don't have a good picture.

It's a hobby that will consume your time, your money, and possibly your soul.
Welcome to the club. We enjoy every minute of it.
Welcome to the club
>>30521594
Congrats. Spread the word.
First thread, new to /k/
I'm moving from Aus to BC Canada in the next month, and I was wondering how difficult it is to get Mosins in Canada, particularly M39 variants. I've always had a love of Mosins from afar, and if I'm coming to a country that lets me own one I want to make sure I'm getting one of the best versions made.
Price isn't a concern, I'm just wondering what the best method of obtaining one would be, what website is reputable, etc.
Being from Aus, goes without saying I'm a first gun buyer. I know fuck all about the market.
>>30521536
Canadian from BC here
It easy and relatively cheap still
Had a 91/30 shipped to me about 2months ago for 200$
Pic related my nugget and sks's
>>30521536
I know it's not the exact modle you want but for a lil extra you could find one
>>30521609
Very nice, I'm surprised they're still that cheap. I'd been online looking for 910/30's in general and everything I found came up in the 350-550 range. Hopefully my local supplier isn't an ass. I've heard horror stories just from reading other threads.
Which do you prefer and why?
>>30521522
I prefer having both.
Because Freedom.
>>30521522
I prefer AK so that I don't feel the need to spend thousands on accessories that I'll never be happy with.
AK is good enough by itself, and the rounds are better too.
>>30521533
Good for you.
Now someone actually read the OP and stop wasting peoples time with shitposts.
>>30521540
There we go.
How did you spend your 4th of July, /k/?
>>30521513
Staring across the Atlantic towards the west, dreaming of guns
Made the mistake of being a Fudd and hanging out with Fudds.
Someone forgot the earpro and the binoculars.
And no one knew how loud .223 was.
I got road rash

almost all semi's from reputable brands are within a % when it comes to reliability
He previously stated that he'd reduce the number to 5,500.
Tell it to people who don't know how horrible he is.

It is our plan to strategically breed them out.
It doesn't make sense the pay is great for a highschool graduate 25-30 k a year. Housing is free along with food and clothing. You have free healthcare. Where the hell is all that money going to.

Can Tim literally shill any harder?
>Guys I'm carrying a G19 until the day I die.
>Guys I'm only carrying a VP9 for the rest of my life.
>Hey guys I found this great new pistol the Sphinx SDP and I'm never carring anything different again.
>Did I say I'd only carry the Sphinx? I meant CZ type lol XD :^) look at this awesome new pistol I found out about
Fucking IWI, CZ, and ZQI have their dicks so far up his ass you can see them in the back of his throat when he talks now.
>reevaluating your positions based on new information
this is NOT allowed guys
>>30521153
Have you even watched the Military Arms Channel? This motherfucker shills so hard.
>>30521157
The only time he shills is with IWI. Other than that he just picks a new product based off experience. Mentioning one thing once doesn't mean OMG LIEK HE TOTES SHILLS GUISE WE SHOULD BOYCOTT HIM.
Seriously, shut the fuck up.
Is cerakote any good?
>>30521097
Yeah. Don't ask me for the science behind it.
Cerakote is a meme. It will fuck with the fit and finish of your gun until you've worn it off all the internal contact points of your gun. Enjoy your jams, failures to feed, and failures to lock back with your operator tier operational FDE cerakote gun.
I have a Canik TP9 pistol and they come with cerakote finish and I must say I really like it alot. Looks much nicer the blueing.
Anyone here know if this is safe? I'd like to keep it if it is
>>30520979
If none of you know where should I ask?
>>30520979
It's safe, all it does is activate the munition, which clearly it clearly isn't attatched to, judging from where you found it, it's likely from a british howitzer that was moved forward following the capture of the German support trenches to the rear iirc
>>30520979
Actually, I may be wrong, that looks like it might be a German Kz14 fuse, can you make out any markings of writing on it?
Can Texas unfuck the ramping up of gun control measures that the fed trying to ram up our asses?
http://www.uschronicle.com/happening-texas-governor-calling-convention-states-rein-washington/
Interesting. Pardon my ignorance but my only concern is that anti 2A States may try to do something similar in retaliation. I'm not sure how many times something like this had been implemented/attempted so if anyone has some case law on this, it would be appreciated
reign in washington about WHAT specifically?
>>30520994
DC, not our glorious Washington state.
>Momčilo Gavrić (Serbian Cyrillic: Moмчилo Гaвpић; 1 May 1906 – 28 April 1993) was the youngest soldier in the First World War
>In the beginning of August 1914, Austro-Hungarian soldiers killed his father, mother, grandmother,[2] his three sisters, and four of his brothers.[3][5] His house was also set on fire. Momčilo survived because he was not at home when it happened—his father had sent him to his uncle earlier.[2]
>Left without family and without a home, Momčilo went to find the 6th Artillery Division of the Serbian army, which was near Gučevo at the time.[4] Major Stevan Tucović, brother of Dimitrije Tucović, accepted Gavrić into his unit after hearing about what had happened, and assigned Miloš Mišović, a soldier in the unit, to be Gavrić's caretaker.[3][4] The same evening, he took revenge by showing his unit the location of the Austro-Hungarian soldiers, and participated in the bombardment, as told by his son Branislav Gavrić in an interview.[2]
>At the age of 8, after the Battle of Cer, he was promoted to the rank of kaplar (Corporal) by the commander of his unit, and given a military uniform.[6]
>When his unit was sent to Thessaloniki, Major Tucović sent him to Sorovits where he hastily went through the equivalent of four grades of elementary education.[4]
>In Kajmakčalan, vojvoda Mišić was stunned when he saw a uniformed ten-year-old boy in the trenches. Major Tucović explained the situation to him; that Gavrić had been with them since the Battle of Cer, and that he had both been taught discipline and been wounded during his time in the unit.[2] Mišić promoted Gavrić to podnarednik (Lance Sergeant), and the order was read out to the whole division.[2][4][6]
tl;dr kid's family gets slaughtered and he joins the army at age 8, gets promoted to Lance Sergeant by age 10 in WW1
>>30520861
What a badass. Did he do anything else post war?
>>30520927
Nothing military-related. During his service major in charge of his outfit ordered his fellow solderies to allow him to fire his platoon's cannon at least 3 times every day, as a way to avenge his family.
He had to go through obligatory conscription at age 18 despite his military service.
He was captured and sent to camps twice by the Germans in WW2, also was taken in front of a communist (partisan) firing squad once but he managed to somehow not get shot.
He was imprisoned by state security for openly saying how Albanians are not the brothers of Serbian people like they are claiming to be, was put in jail for two months.
>>30520861
I bet he was only kept around for his tight little hole in reality.
