So one of the more Commie factions of the IRA hid a weapons cache filled with guns and explosives they got from Russian Gopniks and Best Korean Gooks.
It has reportedly been sealed away since the Cold War, and no one has yet to find it.
If this weapons cache was found would these weapons still be viable, or would they be degraded to the point of no use?
>also
Potato fags, why haven't any of you gone on a treasure hunt for this shit yet?
>>34840078
If they're sealed up well enough, there's no reason why the guns shouldn't work as well as the day they were received.
nothing a lil CLP won't fix
>>34840092
These are Soviet and NORK guns as well, would there be any problem with them because of that?

Short version: buy the nicest one, you won't regret it. Good price these days for Yugos, which are kinda cool.
I've got a toddler rampaging around my living room, so give me a minute on the long version.

>>34839735
Kids born after 1998 think theyre cool because it reminds them of a time they didn't exist for.
Most 'aesthetic' things are just memes. It's kind of insulting and completely ruined the word entirely.
What if someone made a gun that kind of pump fired the trigger. It would work well on these really big guns.
Once you press the trigger, the trigger chamber goes back and then moves to the original position. Keeping your finger in the same place is going to press the trigger again when it comes back to the original position.
Also whoever registers this world changing tech from me, at least pay me a trip to the land of the free so I can shoot it.

Yeah, I'm retarded. My idea is basically a bump fire stock.
Why do rifles use smaller bores than pistols? Im not a troll but a nogunner, wouldnt bigger bullet cause bigger damage while smaller calibers are more accurate?
This must be the reason why CQC special forces use SMGs
Because they fire smaller longer bullets that are faster with greater energy than a shorter fatter round
Look up muzzle velocity
thiccer bullet = more air friction = less velocity
the more the mass of the bullet is the more energy is needed to send it fast
smaller baby bullet = faster = less surface area on bullet as well = better penetration because fast and skinny like asian penis
bigger bullet can cause more damage but smaller bullet can fragment
if we take AK bullet of 7.62x39 it give good punch but it not split into multiple parts cutting everything inside
if we take call of duty m4 bullet of 5.56x45 it go very vroom fast and split into many part and cut inside many but have less punching
Is there a good youtube channel for learning more about guns? How they work, their specific histories, terms and differences and ammo explanation?
I don't want to see pic related shooting the biggest guns ever. I want a channel that explains and educates.
>>34839336
You mean *besides* Hickok45 and ForgottenWeapons?
>>34839336
Honestly, Wikipedia is a pretty good resource. IMFDB is great too. I don't really know any gun channels you haven't already heard of (hickok45, ponytail faggot, etc.)
I just sort of picked things up hanging around /k/
>he doesn't have electronic hearing protection ready for home defense
>he doesn't proactively wear his electronic hearing protection at all times to ensure being ready for a home invasion
>he isn't a pair of electronic earpro used for home defense
>Not wearing your peltors at all timed for superhuman hearing
But no rifle yet. Are there any platforms that are not the G3/CETME/PTR that fit G3 mags? Maybe a .308 bolt action? Something that isn't going to slam and wear itself apart in a couple of years.

Hey /k/ eurofag here,
since we have very strict gun laws in my country its hard to get real funz here without tons of paperwork and registration. However i want some funz and so i've been looking into Air rifles. Currently im choosing between these two guise, what would you recommend?
>inb4 get a real one
2nd choice.
They both go at 170 m/s exit velocity
however no exact measurement of Joule energy
(legal max. is 7,5)
Save the cash up and buy a weihrauch, best euro maker of air rifles you'll find at a decent price
>waah paperwork is hard
You have to be 18 to post on this board.
Is this the best PDW on the market right now?
>configured for common pistol cartridges like 9mm, .45 and 10mm
>can apparently buy .40S&W and .357Sig lowers if you feel frisky
>uses common Glock magazines
>small footprint, plus the buttstock folds to make it even smaller
>pretty small footprint with a silencer
>available as a pistol and is easy to convert to an SBR, so you can practice with it as a pistol while waiting for your tax stamp to come in
The PS90 is another option, but it uses expensive/uncommon ammo, has a larger footprint that doesn't fold, has slow/awkward mag changes, finding a reflex sight that fits low is an ordeal, short barrels are expensive/rare, and the bullpup design makes clearing a jam a major ordeal.
A short barrel, pistol caliber AR-15 is another option, of course, and more common, probably available cheaper, but not as small of a footprint as a Vector.
Then again, is the PDW irrelevant?
>>34838477
yesnonoyes
>>34838503
Fascinating....
>>34838477
The whole point of the Vector is the rate of fire. So when it's semi you lose its big appeal.
You're put into an arena with light armor, probably hide or some kind of hard leather. You get to choose two medieval weapons to bring with you. You don't know who or what you're up against. What do you choose, /k/?
Also general medieval thread

An arming sword and maybe a halberd for distance
>>34838345
I think I'd probably go with a spear and some kind of shield. Range and safety
Langseax and shield.
