>Writing a cyberpunk novel
>Rhodesia rises again
>Design an emblem for the New Rhodesian Special Forces
>Can't figure out shit for the New Rhodesian Republic's Flag
Pic related, tried some things out trying to overlay the American Flag over the Rhodesian Flag
Any ideas?
in b4 anti america thread
>novel with pictures
Sorry I'm not twelve
is it a graphic novel? why do you need a picture and why the fuck would America be affiliated with the Rhodies?
I'd say something like the crest over a white shield and a more filled in green background.
What is the best 9mm under 1000?
Remington R51
>>30526316
HI-Point
Ahh, trick question. Well the real answer would be a Glock 23 Gen 4 with a threaded Lone Wolf 9mm barrel and a .357 SIG Lone Wolf barrel. Throw in a half dozen factory 9mm G19 mags and you're still way under 10 and have three kick ass calibers to choose from.
How many T-90 tanks does it take to defeat one Western tank?
Keep in mind T-90 is roughly $3M a unit vs +$9M for a Western Tank.
>>30526248
>Keep in mind T-90 is roughly $3M a unit vs +$9M for a Western Tank.
a $150 hi point will kill you just as dead as a $1200 AK
>>30526248
One.
Armour, scoring a direct hit on armour, will likely still result in a kill.
The western tanks will simply have more capabilities (ie limited aa or ai) which is what bumps the price tag up.
>>30526248
Why is that one tank different color than the rest?
I'm interested in a 9mm carbine, mostly in one that will accept Glock magazines, but willing to consider others. I'm under 21 so building isn't really an option. Also wondering if anyone under 21 has had hassles buying "pistol" ammunition. The two that I'm most interested in are the JR carbine and the TNW aero survival rifle. Does /k/ have experience with either of these or any other recommendations?
>>30526202
You can build something, just order everything online.
>>30526202
Where'd you learn you can't build one?
Are there laws against it under 21?
>>30526202
Jesus fuck what's up with the picture
You're at the renaissance faire when this guy slaps your squire and readies his coup de grace.
How do you respond?
I trust my squire to take him down since that's the whole point of the lad's martial training.

I whip out the ballista I've been CCinga and magdump
I have been lurking for a long while and will soon be coming into around $1,000 but if I save up a bit more after this month into winter I can add up to $2,500. Now I have had a love for all three of these generals and have used many of these guns at least once due to my families collection of them but it's about time I get my own raifu and I'm not sure which to get. I want all your opinions on what I should get with this money important things to note are.
>Virginia
>Lives innawoods
>Ammo and magazines are no issue because I can get some for free from family stockpile.
>I get the $1,000 around next month but if I wait longer I can get much more every month but I will most likely be to driven to buy a gun in winter.
>Enjoy all three of yall so no clue which of you I wanna head down the path of.
Why are you posting this with a picture of the Korengal valley, which you likely obtained on infinitechan, judging by the file name?
>>30526018
build an AR or kys
>>30526018
You should get an AR15.
You should chamber it in 5.56/.223 Wylde.
You should tell us what you are going to use the rifle for so I can help you further.
New pod aircraft design from Switzerland's Federal Polytechnic Institute provides some nice conceptual ideas for production aircraft.
Could this be used for airlift, airdrop and combat jump operations. Instead of having to design operations one style of C-17 or C-130, you could have custom salon pods for each that could be used by a range of airlifters.

>A passenger pod is not heavy because it does not contain fuel, engines, avionics, etc., so in case of an accident it can be ejected and land on parachutes. The obstacle to this new invention is that the whole obsolete airport and airline infrastructure must be rebuilt. So what? Shall we continue to get killed because it is easier to produce aircraft with a design from 1950s?

>The obstacle to this new invention is that the whole obsolete airport and airline infrastructure must be rebuilt. So what? Shall we continue to get killed because it is easier to produce aircraft with a design from 1950s?
The answer is a resounding yes.
Theres a reason we're still using 5.56
>>30525982
Airports are very expensive. The A380 was sold on the plus point that it can still just barely fit existing airport infrastructure with minor modifications. So, not very likely.
>>30525982
>so in case of an accident it can be ejected and land on parachutes.
Why not design conventional planes to dump fuel, blow off wings, and deploy chutes when it detects a massive drop in altitude then?
I'm kinda biting off other thread alrrady up, and know this thread has been made dozens of times, but what was /k/'s first gun? Also, first gun rate. I had two first guns, both bought as a pair. A sks and marlin 336 in 30-30
>>30525751
First gun was an m&p 15/22. Pretty great.
SUPERNOVA!
First owned? Henry .22 levergun pappy bought me.
First bought? 870 Express right after the cerberus buyout. A mistake, but I fixed it up and still have it.
Anyone know any cool DIY/makshift weapons?
>acquire fist-sized rock
>acquire sock, large condom, or tied-off pant leg
>insert rock into other item
>swing to gain momentum
>aim for the joints
Thats sounds painfull as fuck
Tube sock full of wood screws?
So /k/ I'm originally from Scotland but have just got my citizenship for murica moved to Florida and I was wondering what should be my first weapon ?
I was thinking something along the lines of a bolt action rifle like a mosin just because I crazy for soviet era weapons but are any other bolt actions fun to shoot with?
Either a bolt action of some sort or a pump 12 gauge shotgun.
>>30525260
>a bolt action of some sort
Orly?
>>30525245
Well for surplus, I love my Yugo m48, and my Swiss k31, but ammo isn't that cheap with either. Go mosin.
Felon here, was convicted in Nebraska, live in SD and plan to move to Northern Minnesota. my question is if I see a bear am I legally allowed to defend myself against it with a crossbow/bow/etc? I realize it would probably take more than a crossbow to take down a bear.
Also it was a non violent felony about 8 years ago, if that helps.
I see no reason why not. But don't expect sympathy from anyone if you kill someone (even in self defence)
Also, ditch the middle ages tech and grab a black powder shotgun/revolver.
I don't think there's any problem with a felon just owning one. DNR might think you're poaching, However.
I'd recomend bear mace over a cossbow though.
What can I carry to defend myself when i'm out and about besides a gun? I don't have any martial arts training and I carry pic related. Tazer is a no as well because it's illegal here.
Pepper gun that uses blanks for propellant
XL condoms
Lube
>>30525120
something people have carried for fucking millennia, a shiv m80
>>30525145
Oyeah I carry pic related and a flashlight too, it's pretty bright. I was just curious what some other things are available.
I've initiated my final solution for the fucker or fuckers digging their terror tunnels all along my back yard.
I've coordinated a three pronged approach that involves:
1. Poison bait pellets
2. Mechanical crusher vice traps
3. Gassing tubes (effectively poison smoke bombs)
But I don't know if this will be enough.
Anyone have experience dealing with moles and/or cryptomoles before?
How many?
Some pests or a force to rival Russia?
>>30525111
I always just used gasoline and a lighter.
>>30525111
Post back yard
I just bought a Wilson CQB. It's on the way. Did I make the right choice?
>>30525080
If you wanted a good quality 1911, sure. They're good pistols.
>>30525080
>1911
should have spent that money on a Sphinx or SCAR
>>30525080
/k/ is going to say no.
Some how, some where someone is going to compare or say you should have bought a nugget.
OP I own a few Colts of various vintage, some have been to 3rd party gunsmiths, some back to the colt custom shop.
I also own 2 Les Baer pistols.
You done good. I want to get a Wilson next after having played with a few over the years.
Gunpowder was never invented.
What does warfare look like today?
pic unrelated
Pikes, crossbows and airguns.
>>30524951
Well, we apparently never fully grasped the idea of internal combustion. So I guess we're technologically stuck somewhere in the middle ages but with better metallurgy?
surely there's other means of firing a projective/rocket with the help some sort of power from something right?
but I guess that's beside the point.
