Why do people, especially new ar15 owners, feel like their AR15 must have an optic? Shouldn't you learn to use the iron sights first? On the other side, why do AK owners feel like their AKs shouldn't have optics? Don't optics give you an advantage in a defensive scenario?

Lol literally best use of this meme so far
Since Glock is more or less the posterboy of pistols, it's got a fuckhuge aftermarket.
What does /k/ put on their ugly shooty box, if anything at all?
>>30528422
you should replace your trigger, add night sights, and add extended controls.
other than that, glock is fine.
>>30528422
>>30528454
I hear some people replace the factory guide rod with a heavier tungsten one. Supposedly it reduces felt recoil, but I haven't actually used one before.
Can anyone confirm?
>>30528422
>>30528454
Adding a better firing pin allows you to shoot shit ammo through it reliably as well. The stock firing pin on my 17 has some issues with cheap shitty ammo.
Also a lower profile flashlight isn't a bad idea
Personally I like the AFG, its comfy to me but I don't see many people using it. Sure I see it in photos but I don't see it much in actual use.
>>30528390
I bought one and had it on my AR for awhile.
It was okay, but inevitably I just took if off because I found myself using it less and less.
>>30528390
What are you even talking about exactly?
Is it a bump-fire stock or something?
>>30528486
Wow
The "I want the gun most like a Toyota Hilux/Camry" list
Rifle: AR-15
Pistol: Glock17/19, Sig P226R, or Beretta 92FS
Shotgun: 870 or 590A1
Rimfire: Ruger 10/22, MarkII or un-fucked MarkIII
>>30527784
>no bolt-action rifles suggestions
shit list
Cesar?
>>30527784
>an AK or VZ is fine too
I'd replace the Sig and Beretta with a S&W M&P, just because they're more expensive and the Hilux/Camry implies more modest cost
Can you make a sword so sharp it can cut atoms?
Or, at best, can you theoretically make a sword that can smash them?
What about sticking a katana into the hardron collider?
I once asked /sci/ if I was superhuman, could I stomp so hard on a pile of shit it turned into diamonds and the answer was "Yes, but everyone around for miles will notice"
>>30527421
>Or, at best, can you theoretically make a sword that can smash them?
Can you make a person that can smash them?
>>30527421
>"Yes, but everyone around for miles will notice"
Same concept here, I believe
>>30527421
No.
For a blade to be able to cut an atom, its edge would have to be smaller than one atom. The only metal I know of that can be hammered to 1 atom thick is gold, which doesn't really hold an edge at all. If you look at the sharpest steel blade under an electron microscope, it looks like a flat wall of atoms. The same goes for obsidian, though that is a slightly smaller flat wall of atoms.

Reid had his channel suspended by google. Google is not our friends, and youtube will censor our message.

Lol what the fuck did he say to have that happen? You mean to tell me Yeager can say he's gonna start killing people and they still let him on there and somehow Henrichs manages to get his account fucked? The hell did he put up?
>>30527195
Watch the video. It was one of his old videos about first gun advice.
>>30527130
literally who?
What is the absolute best 1911 I can buy? Money is irrelevant.
Also, if I'm going to get one, should I stay true to history and go with 45acp with no rail, or should I get modern and consider 9mm with a rail?
It's probably not the absolute best that money can buy, but I'm nearing 2,000 rounds through this Springfield RO Champion and its only FTE happened when my mom eased the slide forward when loading a round. Not a single problem otherwise.
So I'd say a Springfield is good. You can spend more though.
>>30527177
Springfield seems good, but I'm considering ultra premium $3000 1911's

I had a thought recently.
I've heard police miss something like 70% of the shots they take (I can't find the exact number). What if instead of a traditional pistol police were armed with something like the TMP9? It could be used as a pistol in a hasty situation, but had a small stock to help increase stability when they had time to deploy it. It seems more simple than a Ronin kit or having an additional weapon in their car.
>>30527034
How would they carry it?
Officers get in and out of their cars a lot so having something on them like that is gonna get pretty annoying.
Handgun is most convenient to the officer so I'm sure if they had the choice they would still go for the pistol.
>>30527034
>>30527121
that's not the issue. The issue is being able to use the firearm during physical struggles. hard to manipulate a stocked gun when someone's on top of you.
>>30527034
>I've heard police miss something like 70% of the shots they take
I think that's from the NYPD specifically and it's because they mandate a fucking 12 pound trigger pull.

This is about the death of Alton Serling. Buckle in buttercup.
No politics though. I am just very curious. What exactly was pulled out of the pocket of Alton at about 0:29 seconds?
They claim it is a gun. If so, what kind?
>>30525521
>If so, what kind?
Iphone with a video recording of the police harrasing him.

Sah Gay. Nice try OP.
Saw the Nugget Enterprises email for Rhodie camo being done
And got my Rhodie blanket done
Anyone else make anything good with their swatches/sections/nuggets?
I'm not sure to do with mine yet
I didn't buy enough for a blanket, so I'll have to figure something out
>>30527078
Its the exact reason I got it in the first place so I made sure I had enough
>>30526991

What route should I go with my N-pap /k/? On one hand I will save money with the plain rifle, but will be less user friendly than the tacti-COOL rifle. Is it worth it to meme up my rifle?
>>30526820
It's your rifle. Do whatever.
The dick wants what the dick wants.
>>30526820
I am in the same boat...
Im bored of the stock ak so im going to tart mine up.
Magpul stock
Mi handguard with t1
>>30526820
My only gripe with foregrips on AKs is that your grip either hast to be short, or curved so the mags can rock out.
I'm not a puristfag, and if you plan on shooting it a decent amount, make it more enjoyable, however you plan on doing so.
Would 150 ex military guys with a shitload of training and knowledge, good equipment (night vision goggles, infrareds, supressors, MANPADs , AT4's) be able to infiltrate Area 51 and find out what is actually happening?
>>30526713
its an aeronautics skunk works area. You wouldn't see anything that would really matter. Its treated the way it is because theres no realistic way to talk down the people who are obsessed with it being some sort of pandoras box.
>>30526713
No. Every ex militaty , is a dysfunctional shit head.
>>30526713
Sounds like a lot of expensive equipment for a holiday visit.
so trump seems to be winning the election which makes me wonder
what should I put in my go-bag, /k/?
>>30526638
a massive floppy veiny black dildo
your Mexican flag, your anchor baby and all your mouldy tortillas

I do not like S&W autoloaders normally.
But this and the ASP are some of the sexiest things I've ever seen.
There's stuff that makes my dick harder but this is the first sexy image of a gun I came to in my folders.
>>30526605
>>FN model 1900
Seriously? Fucking why?
>>30526927
The round "plug" in the slide behind the cocking serrations ruins it.
What about female body parts that could be weaponized that make your penis rock hard?
Does anyone have the greentext about "Drones can't enforce edicts or kick down doors at 2am to look for propaganda."
Wanted to show it to a friend to make a cohesive argument why "drones =/=automatic victory".
Don't have that one, but do have a few others you could use too.
