It was. There's a second picture where he's petting a pony toy. It's like a joke of the twisted fucking sociopath picture.
I live like 5 miles away from Offutt afb. Wtf are fully wet f-18s doing in the middle of the country is shit kicking off?
Hello /k/. I really like guns and want to shoot as a hobby, however, since I live in [REDACTED], where gun laws are very strict and simply unreasonable, I can’t. As such, I decided to build my own.
Now, since this is just for hobby shooting and not self-defense, and ammunition or even gunpowder is very hard to find in [REDACTED] without extensive paper work, so I am going to make a musket.
The blast caps will be make from safety matches, a mixture that I already know and can rely on, in a cup made from aluminium cans. The gunpowder will be acquired from fireworks and squibs. The barrel I will make from a steel tube. I am going to find several tubes and test them with varying loads of gunpowder (My aim is to make a musket with a 60 grain load) to test from safe they are (My safety mark will be being able to fire 3 90 grain loads with no visible damage). After I make sure they are good I will rifle the barrel using a rod with diamonds (the kind you get in glass cutters) and slowly revolving them all the way to the bottom. The stock I will make from an old piece of hardwood from an old bed that unfortunately broke when transporting. The bullets themselves I will make from scrap lead and mold myself. I will make them about ¼ millimeter larger than the barrel so they are a tight fit and the rifling really works.
My questions are:
How likely is it that I will kill myself with this?
Where can I find good diagrams for very simple trigger mechanisms? (All the ones I have are for much more advanced guns, like M1911 and Sten. Could I use those?)
Any ideas on how to implement a safe way to remove misfires and failed rounds?
Repeating digits name the project.
Can you own air rifles? Those are better than nothing.
>>30584595
>remove misfires and failed rounds?
A long corkscrew could be used.
Wrap the barrel in wire, the wire doesn't matter you could use clothes hangers but this will allow the pipe to hold up to greater pressures.

Air rifles are much easier to get here in [REDACTED], yes. I am thinking about buying one as well, looking for good prices and all.
But I wanted something with more punch. A real gun.
As promised I scanned the book "SOLDATENBUCH" from 1958 which was handed over to soldiers in the Swiss army in order to prepare them for a possible invasion.
Here you can see the various tactics, doctrines and what each soldier was expected to do or how to behave in case of an invasion of Switzerland. It also speaks about the duties of civilians in these situations.
There's also a part showing each different corps of the Swiss army along with songs, prayers and other patriotic stuff.

Also I didn't see a Milsurp thread so general bread on this as well.

Steel, Ceramic, Titanium, Polyethylene, Boron carbide.
What are your thoughts /k/. I missed the whole ar500 is shit threads. And rumors are that the russians are trying to switch over to boron carbide for their armor.

>>30584194
I recently learned there are bigbore air guns capable of taking down deer and bear, do you have any experience with those OP?
>>30584194
>>30584215
those are the most expensive PCP tier anon, with the money you spend on em you can buy several shotguns if not a dozen and it's a bit of exaggeration I'd say. I'm more of a spring break barrell guy myself
We are coming along with the new shop, sorry we couldn't make it to the last meetup... just had to get some heavy lifting handled.
http://www.youtube.com/edit?video_id=sYd-MhiHhhk
Shit is coming along.
Oh, and I actually got the partners in the shop to go along with having an actual pedestal with a bowl full of dicks (dilldos) to offer dissatisfied customers for their consumption..
Its a dream come true.

Just... getting sexy
No one really gives a fuck. Let us know when you do something useful.
whats the point of using the bayonet in this day and age? isnt it much easier just to pull the trigger?
That only works if you have ammunition.
>>30584153
I think you answered your own question OP
>>30584153
Large smores.
What caliber has killed the most people? Alot of people would say 762x39 but I would be willing to make an argument for 8mm
>>30584128
>762x39
.22lr
I'm not joking.
>>30584139
You honestly think all the accidental discharge and criminal deaths from .22lr would outweigh 762x39 or even 556?
>live in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas
>wanted to be a detective for a while
Would it be terrible idea to try and join the Dallas PD now, after these shootings?
It seems either course could be perfectly logical - Either :
A. They are desperately in need of more cops and are willing to take anyone.
B. They are being flooded by applications because of the shootings and won't need more cops.
Or should I just call their HR and ask?
>>30584069
>call HR
Go online, anon. Nobody does business over the phone these days.
>>30584150
Well, Dallas PD is ALWAYS hiring, even before this, and it was hard to tell if they'd be in lower demand now with recent recruits, or if people would be completely running away from LEO jobs in DFW.
I usually get straightforward answers from HR on the phone since there's only so much information a standard website can provide.
You probably realize it but to be a detective you will need several years on with big departments and MANY with smaller departments. There is very high turnover for detective jobs in big cities.
Anyone have any recommendations for a good affordable river diving knife?
combat knife
>>30584040
The Wasp.
>>30584040
SEALpup is good. Partial serrations, nice textured grip made of hard plastic which is good for underwater, some kind of coating that has really held up against water with just minimal care. The pupper knife has never failed me.
Alright /k/, is there a guide to the 3 types of actions that a pistol can have? If not, lets make one.
Misspellings aside, this about accurate?
what about triple action?
