/k/ I'm trying to write a screenplay but I'm completely out of my depth when it comes to guns. I need a big, fuck-off revolver for a big, fuck-off guy. I've been debating between the Model 29, the Model 500, and the Taurus Raging Bull. The Model 500 and Taurus Raging Bull might be too big; how much would one of their rounds tear up a human body?
Also, what modifications are there for revolvers?
Pic related, one of the few saved images I have with "gun" in the file name.
Ruger alaskan in .454

In the story some of the characters need to actually survive a gun shot or two, not burst into ludicrous gibs.
>>30598993
model 500 is too big, it hurts to shoot and only a retard would carry one around
give him a ruger super redhawk, up to .454 Casul and scopes are common
you can buy scopes, mount lights/lasers on some smaller "tactical" revolvers, get different grips, different hammer, lighter trigger, engraving
So I'm about to submit my form 1 to SBR an AR. Anyone have any experience with Palmetto State Armory stuff?
Their online reviews seem pretty great but I figured I'd ask you retards what you think.
Also, do I have to submit additional forms for full auto and a suppressor?

Yes you are Magu-chan
let me stick you into the magwell!
>>30598620

>>30598654
Come on OP.
You know he's right.
You better cum right over that mag, and her cute little bow.
I'll be awaiting photographic proof.

What was the distribution of weapons in standard infantry squad and/or platoon of the Wehrmacht?
In a combat group (what is called now squad: 8-12 men) how many had a Kar98k and how many had a MP40?
And later how many had stg44 and how many had G43?
What was the proportion of MG42s, Marksmen (kar98k/G43 with a scope?), PzFaust/PzSchrek in a platoon?
>>30598371
Also what was the specialization (what brugers call MOS) of the infantry soldiers (grenadier, LMG, etc) ?
>>30598371

Dude that sounds kinda sad
Got my first gun today, a glock 19. It came with 3 mags and cost me about $580 tax included. How did i do?
>>30598002
>How did i do?
It better of had some fucking brand spaking new Trijicon HD's or some other shit because god fucking damn did you get assraped like a motherfucker with no lube.
A Glock 19 for what they go for new ($500) is pretty steep for what you're getting but $580? woooooooooohooo fuckboy, next time do your homework.
tl;dr you got played like a fucking piano
>>30598030
ok yeah that sucks.
It's a generation 4 btw they're good right?
>>30598058
The Gen 4 is a bit different, they go ~$550 new.
>It's a generation 4 btw they're good right?
Not as good as Gen 3.
now i understand i would probably get in some trouble if i were to drive one of these down the road. but if i were in hiking distance of a vehicle dump like this there is no way i wouldn't lug a toolbox and an acetylene torch and get one of these running again.
http://rusue.com/military-equipment-shouldnt-die-this-way/
are there weapon dumps like this in the russian woods somewhere too?
>>30597656
If it's tagged, runs, and the lights work why would you get in trouble?
Would probably be considered theft if you didn't go through the proper channels, but then there's also a good chance nobody would ever notice it was looted anyway.
Wouldn't be the first time somebody has done that to old Soviet military equipment:

well i have had some luck with um "creative" plates in the us, if this type of gear is abandoned then they probably aren't that great at verifying tags
As I look back on my arsenal of AKs, ARs, milsurp, and assorted handguns, shotguns, and hunting rifles, I realize that I don't actually own a .22LR.
I own about 2,000 rounds of .22LR in my safe, but I never shoot it because I sold my .22 pistol like 4 years ago.
So I'd like to get a very accurate .22 that I can work on my groupings with without breaking the bank.
What is the best .22LR rifle for under $500?
>>30597372
my fucking dick
>>30597372
What's that?
>>30597372
I hear great things about Marlin rifles in that caliber. Accurate out of the box, not overly picky about ammo. My 795 definitely lives up to that, but for better accuracy you should buy one of the repeaters.
What if the Imperial Japanese Navy had a Nimitz class aircraft carrier?
It'd be pretty useless since Japan is right next door to China
but comrade
what if
japan IS US aircraft carrier
>>30597235
It gets sunk. They are pretty unlikely to be able to make use of the aircraft, even if they get a few running good luck figuring out that they need to use the cats to get them up. They might figure out the onboard weapons systems, but have limited supplies for them, which also applies even if they manage to get aircraft launch and recovery figured out fast enough to have some usable aircraft left. And in the meantime should it come into an engagement vs just about anything at close range it gets fucked by gunfire, if attacked by air even it they have systems working it's only a nightmare deathstar until the ammo is gone, after which it dies to bombs and torpedoes. Most likely of all if it doesn't get discovered and sunk swiftly is that they get it back to Japan and it never leaves again due to the amount of fuel required to run it on whatever backup generators are available, no way in hell are they keeping the reactors going so its backup power all the way.
US Corrections Special Operations Group (US C-SOG), a private company based in Virginia that signed a $1.2 million contract with the NYC’s Department of Corrections earlier this year, mixes military tactics with correction officer training teaching various prisons how to better deal with undesirable peoples.
Why aren't more prisons and law enforcement groups adopting military tactics?
We all know criminal rehabilitation is a myth.
And we have entire demographics who have proven that they cannot handle the same freedoms that good Americans Constitutionally hold.
China and Russia already mix their military and police. Why doesn't everyone else do the same?
>>30597143
This is completely retarded.
Video of US C-SOG training regimen

Cute dog in the picture, putting fear into the hearts of the undesirables.
>>30597143
I think we should isolate prisoners from each other, and the corrections officers.
Stick them in a cell with a TV so they don't go insane, and give them 10 minutes of fresh air a day in a separated cage.
Turn them into fat couch potatoes.
Hi /k/
Is there anyone from CZ able to answer a few questions from me?
Bump...
For glorious cz75
>>30597039
Post the questions fag
Maybe some other eurodude can help you out
>>30597574
K.
Eurofag here, in a no gun country.
CZ is much more relaxed on this side of things.
Sooo... Any way a no-cz man could buy small arms and ammo from 'grey' resellers there ?

What are the requirements for joining the French Foreign Legion? How hard is the selection procedure?
I can run 5km below 20mins, 60+ push ups, 15 pull ups
>>30596229
If you bump those numbers up a little bit you'll probably be fine unless you quit cause you realize that getting rocks thrown at your face and your head slammed against the wall every time you forget your french isn't fun
My French is also as proficient as my English. I can speak German and I know a little bit of Spanish
>>30596268
Sounds fun.
As long as I can get drunk afterwards.
Hello /k/. I am looking for a way to find out very precise information about guns. More specifically how thick the barrel and barrel walls are, depth of rifling and type of steel used. However everytime I try to google it I end up on pages that only offer basic info and no real info on such things. Can you help me?
which guns, specifically?
>>30595824
Muskets. The springfield model 1842 for example and other 60-grain ones. Anything that used black powder too, but those are the main ones.
Still havent found shit. I guess I will have to resort to measuring the pixels in a photograph and trying to guess the diameter and thickness of the thing.
