/k/ I'm trying to write a screenplay but I'm completely out of my depth when it comes to guns. I need a big, fuck-off revolver for a big, fuck-off guy. I've been debating between the Model 29, the Model 500, and the Taurus Raging Bull. The Model 500 and Taurus Raging Bull might be too big; how much would one of their rounds tear up a human body?
Also, what modifications are there for revolvers?

you can buy scopes, mount lights/lasers on some smaller "tactical" revolvers, get different grips, different hammer, lighter trigger, engraving

As I look back on my arsenal of AKs, ARs, milsurp, and assorted handguns, shotguns, and hunting rifles, I realize that I don't actually own a .22LR.
I own about 2,000 rounds of .22LR in my safe, but I never shoot it because I sold my .22 pistol like 4 years ago.
So I'd like to get a very accurate .22 that I can work on my groupings with without breaking the bank.

I hear great things about Marlin rifles in that caliber. Accurate out of the box, not overly picky about ammo. My 795 definitely lives up to that, but for better accuracy you should buy one of the repeaters.

It gets sunk. They are pretty unlikely to be able to make use of the aircraft, even if they get a few running good luck figuring out that they need to use the cats to get them up. They might figure out the onboard weapons systems, but have limited supplies for them, which also applies even if they manage to get aircraft launch and recovery figured out fast enough to have some usable aircraft left. And in the meantime should it come into an engagement vs just about anything at close range it gets fucked by gunfire, if attacked by air even it they have systems working it's only a nightmare deathstar until the ammo is gone, after which it dies to bombs and torpedoes. Most likely of all if it doesn't get discovered and sunk swiftly is that they get it back to Japan and it never leaves again due to the amount of fuel required to run it on whatever backup generators are available, no way in hell are they keeping the reactors going so its backup power all the way.
