put a p30 v3 on lay away today, so im pretty pumped to talk about h&k guns.
>inb4 only poorfags use lay away
i could afford it, but im not 21 quite yet so just locking in the price before pre election price gouging sets in.

any p30 owners on here? i want to carry this gun, at least through jacket weather. is it a owb only or could do iwb? id like to iwb, but if its not feasible thats okay.

>is it a owb only or could do iwb? id like to iwb, but if its not feasible thats okay.
Anything is feasible in a breathable undershirt and a one size too large t-shirt.
i.e. if you wear an L wear an XL. It's not that hard, it doesn't matter if anybody notices anyways. Their right of fear doesn't trump your right to carry

You're either lying or a poorfag, I suspect both. The gun control act of 68 prohibits dealers from selling to anyone under 21.

I listed everything I ever had on my form, even shit like breaking my leg when I was 4, and smoking pot in highschool.
The pokerface is an apologetic statement of "I didn't realise that is what the question entailed" followed by full disclosure of the issue.
Never had any problems, or even waivers.

Did the interviewers try this shit on you? I had validation yesterday and an interviewer pulled this shit on a kid there. I wanted to know if there were any funny stories /k/ had.

Tiny family :(

So a fa/tg/uy here, I've loved lurking on /k/ for a while and I'm planning to run a sci-fi game in one of my favorite settings for how unique it is, 2300 AD. I came along here to just post the game's assumptions about high-tech weaponry, and see what the denizens of the board all about weapons might think.

First, what is 2300 AD? It's a roleplaying game set after Twilight 2000, which was a 1983 exploration of the Cold War eventually going hot. It's possibly the most /k/ RPG ever made, focusing on playing a group of carousing U.S. soldiers in no man's land, AKA Poland. You have no idea what's going on, there's no fuel at all, and getting back home is very, very unlikely. 2300 AD takes place 300 years after low grade nuclear war, but also in their scenario, France left NATO, so got out of the nuclear war relatively unscathed. This led them to dominating the next few centuries.

First weapon up is French:

SENPAI-90 (Fusil Automatique Magnetique-2090): The standard infantry of the first-line French forces, the SENPAI-90 Gauss Rifle fires single shots at high velocity, giving good aimed fire accuracy, and fires bursts at much lower velocity, giving the rifle excellent controllability on automatic fire. The optic sights incorporate a low-power laser range finder for aimed fire. An HR-17 30mm grenade launcher is mounted below the barrel. It holds a 60 round magazine of 4.5x20mm flechette rounds.

Next up is Russian, the Space AK

AS-89 (Automat Segetov 2289): The standard Soviet Russian infantry weapon, the AS-89 incorporates a reliable optic sight and an integral 30mm G-2 grenade launcher. The AS-89 found a home for a time in the hands of hired mercenaries of the French Arm(The biggest Colonial Region). In fact, this weapon of men who were for hire, and as such is an institution in and of itself. It is shorter range Gauss Rifle than the SENPAI-90, and fires 4.54x21mm ammunition in a 60 round magazine.

Our first Sniper rifle, also French:

FTE-10 (Fusil Tiralleur d'Elite-10): Generally, each French squad contains at least one FTE-10(or similar) sniper rifle for use in long range aimed fire. The Fusil Tiralleur d'Elite-10 is a very low-noise weapon, which makes it excellent for harassment fire from concealment. The FTE-10 can also penetrate light armor at reasonable ranges. Due to its great physical length, the FTE-10 has gained the nickname "Kentucky Long-rifle" among American soldiers. Soldiers who are assigned to carry the FTE-10 often do so under protest. It fires a 10x37 flechette round with a 10box magazine.

This one is what made me want to post here:

Type-81 Storm Gun: Shortly before the Central Asian War, there was a flurry of interest in man-carried heavy caliber "storm guns," mostly brought on by Manchuria's adoption of the Type-81. The storm gun was intended to provide light anti-vehicle and anti-bunker fire, and the exploding round was expected to give a good area fire capability. In service however, the weapon proved disappointing, so although it is still in service, no replacement has been planned. Private interest for such a weapon has also dried up. One problem of the early versions involved an exposed recoil cylinder of the telescopic shock absorbing shoulder stock. Sand and grit contaminated lubricants of the cylinder, fouling it to the point that Manchurian troops (those not discarding the weapon altogether) were often forced to brace the shoulder stock against a rock or tree when firing. After the Central Asian War, most Type-81s were refitted to fix this issue.

So, that's some goofy guns, but there's alot more. Does /k/ want to see any more?

The Olympics got me thinking /k/ why is there no military types of events. Is it because they are supposed to only show off sports

Russia holds tanks competitions, shooting competitions with both military and civilian Kalashnikovs, etc. Usually with Asian and BRICS countries

Because the IOC intentionally made it that way. Culture war has penetrated to the very core of every single aspect of life, including the olympics.

WHY THE FUCK DOES EVERY INTERNET OPERATOR RUN BCM RIFLES.. ARE THEY THAT GOOD?!?

That's no ordinary internet operator, that's Travis "stay safe, and stay in the fight" Haley. He once killed a man doing something or other then he ended up on a roof in Najaf with other blackwater dudes and they shot the entire town. None of this has anything to do with James Yeager though. What are we talking about again?

So, I'm looking in to getting my first rifle. I love the idea of a rifle like the SKS, but not sure it's worth paying current prices. Are there any similar (i.e., intermediate cartridge, semi-auto) rifles that are a better deal these days, or should I stick with the classic? pic unrelated
