Hello /k/
I'm ready to start buying interesting guns and just not your standard ARs and AKs. I was wondering if you all could point me in a good direction. I'm looking for quality clones of these guns. I'm sure some won't have clones.
FN FNC
FN FAL
SG 550 (#1 priority)
Galil
M14
Thank you.
>>31000261
Damn, how much money you got.
>>31000279
I'm well off but I'm no Dubai billionaire.
I'm not buying all of them. I'm sure most of them don't have any clones. I'm just narrowing down my search and finding exactly what I want.
So you finished upotte this week or what?
How many of you have actually done this to your superiors?
I've always seen subordinates nipping at higher ups like this in movies but how much of it actually happens?
>>30999917
All the time pretty much.
The man/woman is the asshole that tells you what to do all the time, gives you work even you did everything on schedule for the next 2 weeks and so on. Don't even let me start about officers that enjoy being assholes- there're plenty of those.
If you're in good relations with them, than they might even be ok with being teased right in front of his face. At least in a non-US military.
Pic related are 2 officers from my unit that were OK with us going down and laughing on them on them and making. Were OK with us answering with "Ya mein Führer!" to every order they gave.
>>31001659
Forgot the pic. At this point I just want to show off.

So I know this isnt exactly weapons related but its sort of military related?
How the actual fuck do you tie a shemagh ina hood style like this?
And add a faggy video game media image for military style n shit too
1: fold into triangle
2 place base of triangle on forehead, apex down spine
3 take tails of triangle, which should be in front, cross them at throat, and bring behind head
4 tie behind head. Tight.
5 no, tighter
6. Asphyxiated yourself for being this fucking stupid that you couldn't figure out how to tie an oversized bandana. YOU INCLUDED PICTURES FFS

Dont be a raging cock sucker you 26-30 something year old waste of space
Im asking how to tie it in that style if you dont know how then just fucking say you dont kno how aside from the myriad of things you should know how to do like get a fucking job and not being such a pussy ass bitch your miserable life. But thabks for the advice anyway. Have a nice day
TL:DR shut the fuck up
guys i have a question about the internals of the cz sp01 and p01. ive had these two for weeks, bought as brand new, and i didn't actually get around to cleaning and oiling them until a few days ago. i used some gun bore cleaner that i dont have acess to right now and hoppes 9 oil. i kept the sp01 in my safe without any sort of dehumidifier which was my bad, i forgot about that factor, and found what i believed to be rust at the base of the tallest spire on the slide stop of the spo1. Or at least i thought it was rust until after literally a whole day of using a cleaner meant to get rid of rust and using a 0000 grade steel wool pad it still didnt come out, at all. now im wondering if its not rust but perhaps some sort of discoloration in reaction to the oil or cleaner. arent the insides of cz unfinished anyways? i suspect some parts of the sp01 are also discolored but im not sure, its just some redbrown hues while the slide stop has a bright crown of red around one of the prongs. its not bumpy or anything, and i cant scratch anything off with the steel wool.
my p01 also had a discoloration which may or may not have been there from the start, not sure. the p01 has been inside my waistband for awhile amd thats all ive noticed to ve irregular. it could just be the finish wearing off
anyone have experience with czs having these discolorations or rust? im admittedly not that experienced with taking care of my own guns so let me know if im supposed to use specific products to care for cz guns. any help is appreciated
also im at work rn so i cant post any pics of the sp01, just the p01 that i have with me

READ THE FUCKING MANUAL
>>30999595
You are paranoid and don't even know what rust is. Why do you have guns if you just fret about them like some woman?
Here's a tip, rust rubs off. So oil your guns lightly and stop worrying about rust you bitch.
>>30999738
read again, isnt rubbing off.
>>30999631
okay, i think i see where i fucked up. i used gun bore cleaner for the rest of the sp01 and p01 internals which is not advised and can cause corrosion. what do i do now
I ride my bike to the range.
Can I paint my muzzle brake orange to stop soccer moms and cops from bothering me where OC is legal.
>>30999442
Or you can buy a bag.
>>30999442
*cerakote or something, since paint will probably burn and flake.
>>30999450
Ok, but what law?
Hey revolverfags, I'm interested in carrying a snubnose revolver for concealed carry. I've had my eye on S&W, Ruger, Chippa, and Charter (mostly because I'm left handed). If anyone has any recommendations please feel free to let me know. Although I'd prefer .357, I wouldn't mind if it was rated for .38 P+.

Testing
Around what time could modern weapons (e.g. Milled AK's, steel ARs and Glocks, FALs, ect) have been mass produced (or at least produced in small quantities)? I would say 1890's. By then, smokeless powder had been invented and metallurgy had improved. Broomhandle Mausers, Borchardts, Gewehr 98's, and many other guns firing high powered ammo and with complex machining had been invented.
>>30999348
what's a liberty pole doing on that rifle?
>>30999421
Argentine?
>>30999348
You need good quality screw machines, standardized parts, assembly lines.
Between the world wars, maybe. But the metalurgy of the time wasnt nearly as good, and things like ARs rely on what was then a series exotic alloys and plastics. Glocks need some fairly advanced polymers too. AKs would be much easier, slav engineering is designed to work with the meanest of materials by and large.
getting my first ccw soon, so far ive settled on the shield. Currently trying to pick between the safety/no safety version. Am I an idiot for leaning towards the one with the thumb safety? I already have a glock 17 that im used to but its too big to carry and ive never carried before and honestly the safety gives me some peace of kind
also small carry gun general thread
>>30999859
Go for a glock 26. The trigger is identical and you can even use the 17 mags in the 26. I have one and I love it.
For me personally, I know that my trigger discipline is more than enough to never negligently discharge a firearm. But I have a DA no safety sig 2022 with no safety and even when its chambered and I'm being ultra safe it gives me an uneasy feeling (when im not intentionally shooting it)
I'd go with the thumb safety but it's just because I'm a worry wort who would like the extra measure.
>>30999859
Get a superior Walther PPS M2.
Shield is shit unless you blow $165 extra for an Apex trigger kit.
If you get the one with the safety, you can use if you want or leave it off. If it gives you peace of mind then get it. However, there's a small chance the safety might be accidentally on (or you forgot) that one time you need it.
I don't know if this is the appropriate board for this, but fuck it. I'm looking for Catherine Macduffy's The Plastic Age. I remember reading it hear a few years ago but I'm having trouble finding it. Was it ever finished? Help a negro out.
Shameless bump for knowledge.
Once more. With feeling.

>Pretty cute/10
Good luck anon, I haven't heard of this shit.
>tfw they all laughed at me for prepping
>tfw they said SHTF will never happen
>tfw they all ridiculed me for allocating all my income to buying bottled water and ammo
>tfw they stopped talking to me because they think I'm a nut
>tfw they said it will never happen
Are they wrong, /k/?
Lol you're a faggot. Enjoy your pussyless life
>>30999437
Eh, no it's very peaceful here in San Antone.
You're a fucking nut.
I hope all of your tula rusts and same with your shitty Bear Creek AR-15 with shit magpul furniture on it.
>>30999437
>nut?
Yessish.
I kinda know I'm a nut - libertarian atheists are basically dismissed as fictional, so grain of salt etc, but civilization is too beneficial for people to go ape shit for relatively small things, especially spread out over time.
But I had/have those fantasies and plans-to-make-plans go through my head. I just don't act on them. But everybody doesn't act on anything. The internet and TV and drugs are too powerful.
Does anybody even know the hell this is?

I'm thinking of purchasing my own rifle for the first time. I have a good history with rifles before and was considering getting myself a pretty M1A from Springfield but it has a pretty hefty price tag.
What do you guys think of this weapon is it worth the 1700+ price tag?
>>30999177
I had always heard that they have iffy reliability in good conditions. Then those dudes did that dust test and a little sand totally jammed it completely. I always wanted an M1A because I like .308 and I like that standard non-pistol grip rifle/shotgun hold, but I could never buy one knowing what I know now. I have also heard bad things about the metal they use in the receivers and shit... plus the whole giant project just to put a suppressor on the thing... not gonna happen. I would totally be all about them if they were executed right though.
>>30999177
Got a friend with a tacticool one, he is completely anal about maintenance, it serves him well and he loves it back.
Are you looking for a battle rifle or are you looking for a beautiful wood stocked semi-auto?
>>30999339
I am looking for something I can use all around. I was also thinking of going SKS route but California is a bunch of fucks and there a bunch of rules im just starting to learn
ITT: Only single shot weapons.
Is a Contender really worth it? I saw one at a gun show not too long ago and was really tempted to pick it up.
>>30999032
Do you need/want a single shot target hunting pistol?
If you do, that's probably one of the best, most common choices.
>>30999032
The Contender is a fun gun. Stupidly accurate just slower obviously. You can swap barrels super easy too and basically every caliber is/was made for it.
If you snag a pistol size barrel and have a rifle size stock, would it be considered a SBR?
I really want a "hit man" style weapon.
