I was curious about tanks today and i was wondering if a local japanese tank was able to be driven on the road without damaging the asphalt and legal in California to drive. the tank weighs about 14,800 pounds with a 454 V8 chevrolet engine. Although it costs around $13,00,000 and i will not ever be able to afford it, i might be able to get a ride on it.
i ment $130,000

driving a tank on the road sounds like great fun until you actually sit down and think about what it would involve

What CZ items and CZ item accessories have you bought recently?
I just picked up a 1989 CZ-75 from CDI on gunbroker. Finish is pretty worn, so I scrubbed it down with a scotch brite pad to even it out a bit. Almost has a brushed aluminum look to it now. This motherfucker was dirty, had about 30 years worth of dead skin inside the grips. Trigger wouldn't reset so I had to file the mag around the trigger bar. Overall pretty happy, would buy again.
Anyone cc a 75 compact? Is it doable to just cc a standard cz 75?
boy there was some autism in the last thread
What are some available books on the CZ-75 pistols?
So the city I live in is having a Coffee with a Cop event hosted locally. What weapons related questions should I ask them?
>>31001908
Do they carry off duty, if so, do they prefer/feel more comfortable with their service gun or there personal gun.
Cops don't know shit about guns nor laws. Save your questions.

What's on everyone's wish list to buy before Hillary wins in November?

>finish my SPR build

>start/finish pistol build
I want a shorty AR
>long range bolt rifle
After that, nothing I think
More ammo.
Why, FBI? Why do you ask?
No thanks Hillary
It's too old. What should replace it?
>>31000582
the newest version......it does it's job fine. No need to replace a plane when the current one does it's job perfectly fine
>>31000582
Airframes don't age. They just wear down from overuse and lack of maintenance.
>>31000582
The D variant is fully modernized. There's no reason for a different airframe.

Is Japan trying to propaganda this thread?
What longarm and pistol (period correct or modern) would you take if you had to go back to 1823 and become a fur trader for one season? If you choose a modern firearm, you would only have whatever ammo you can carry on your person and it has to last all season.
A modern looking rifle such as an AR may make you a target when you start dropping attackers left and right. Hostiles may realize and tell others that you can shoot a 30 caliber clip in half a second. A handgun can be hidden away rather easily, so you could carry it unnoticed. Something to consider.
Baker cavalry carbine. God damn the bloody redcoats, but they make some fine guns.
>>31000463
Well...what's wrong with them telling the others I have a good fucking gun? Isn't the point of it to defend myself and not have constant waves of them charge at me?

Chatting with my uber driver and apparently he is pro 2nd A. Considering moving to Texas. Pulling into the resort the Uber driver uses his carry license to show ID and the security says,
Security: "don't even show me that, where is your ID?"
Uber driver "that is a valid state ID" (smiles)
Security, "don't show me that, why are you smiling, I'm serious?"
Uber driver (takes out driver license) "here"
Security "next time don't show me that"
Wtf is up with ppl? Do carry licenses cause PTSD or something? I recommended that the Uber driver move to Texas where his rights are more respected.
Thoughts?
Btw this happened in Florida, not Commiefornia

I feel the text makes this image a lot less potent.
I've been looking into getting an M14/M14 for some time, however recently I've started doing some research on comparable weapons to weigh my options. The Dragnov SVD fills a similar role and is common on battlefields around the world, however I've noticed that they are very rare among gun owners in the US. I'm curious as to why this is, expecially since AKs and SKSs are so common. Any thoughts on this? Also, how does it stack up against the M14?
what kind of hand placement is that
There was one shipment into the US before some import ban. They sell for 20k+. You can get a tigr or a Chinese for around 4k, if you can find one.

50/50 it was a cry for attention or it was serious and he's just that fucking dumb

If they're both going to be semi-automatic anyway, what is the advantage of getting an AK over an SKS?
>>31000985
Stock accepting 30 round or larger magazines.
>>31000985
Magazine vs stripper clips
>>31000985
You probably won't accidently slam fire the entire magazine of an AK if it doesn't get cleaned right/enough. I'm not saying that's a definite trait of the SKS, but I have heard about it a lot more with those, than with AKs .

Should I be worried or do I just patch it up and move on
>>31000497
Don't patch it up until a day or two later unless you have matching paint to make it invisible. Cops probably won't like that you tried to hide it up if they do show up
>>31000511
I already have matching paint but need something to patch up the hole with.
If I don't have it patched by the time they come, how much legal liability am I in for? It's a crime to discharge a firearm in my city unless it's in self defense, but my state is pretty fun friendly (Texas).
And if they come after I patch it I can just say it was a loud noise that could have been anything?
>>31000534
I'm not an LEO by any means, and on top of that I'm an /k/anuck, so take from me what you will, but what I would do would (because I wouldn't have plaster) not patch it up, but possibly hang a painting in front of it if possible or something. Pics pls? Because we can also help remodel your room if you want
