I'll start. Did you know some British tanks and vehicles have a boiling vessel to make tea?
>>31039963
I don't care about tea but the Brits did a good job with Brexit. Pharisees and globalists pls go.

double up on sound nullifiers?

That's part of the reason I bought subsonic stuff for my own personal things.

Doubling up hearing protection is great. . . On paper. Lets say you combine plugs and electronic muffs. The plugs have a Db rating of 33, muffs of 25. You don't actually get 55db protection. You get about 36db. I've had tons of guys tell me they double up while shooting and their ears ring the same as just using plugs. Because plugs work best. Specifically the electronic ones. Electronic muffs are pretty amazing, but doubling up does very little.
Tl;dr, doubling up is dumb and you should feel dumb.

Hey /k/ hope all is well, I'm looking into buying my first handgun for conceal carry any recommendations? I've been looking at some 1911s and Glocks, thanks
I googled a random conceal carry picture
>>31039785
Glock 19. It may be boring and typical but you know it will work good. Also, after market items and mags are plentiful and affordable.
Glock 19 or 26.

>>31039983
Isn't trying to conceal a double stack mag handgun hard to do? Commiestate here; only 8 months into the 12 month process of obtaining a restricted handgun license.
Post things that are unusual, unexpected, accidental, spooky and riveting.
What if it's only three out of the four?

It can be any of them. Whatever you find interesting.
Have you ever wanted to work in the firearms industry? Do you neglect to take pride in your work, and thrive in an environment that doesn't quality check that poor work? Are you a monkey?
If you've answered yes to any of these questions, Century Arms wants you! They are hiring entry level Assemblers in their Vermont location.

They are looking pretty hard, and a friend of mine told me he applied to work there yesterday and they called him back today.

So any machinists here willing to chime in if this would be a dead end job? I know they probably just want someone to monkey together rivets and going to school during the meantime would be more useful but would this be worth it?

I wonder what the pay is like.
How's Vermont for gun stuff? I hear the scenery is wonderful.

Any ideas on how to mount my phone on my scope so I can have pov shots?
Mount your scope properly first you fucking faggot

Jesus son, this anon is right!! Unfuck your scope!!
That would have been a nice picture of the scope wasn't fucking misaligned
One thing has always bugged me, /k/...
What stops a man who's concealed carrying from shooting another man who's also concealed carrying in a mass shooting scenario? Given the fact that if a mass shooting has already occured/in the process of occuring, both* men pull out their guns and are trying to stop the shooter.
A few simple facts to consider as well
>none have any military combat experience
>limited weapons training
>are average joes
>get as nervous as anyone else in a tense situation
>more so since they could be potentially shot at
>both men are possibly very "jumpy"
>*there could be more than two concealed carry shooters, raising the chances of an accident
So how do both of the men know who is the shooter and who isn't? What stops him from shooting an innocent man who's also trying to stop the shooter?
Get what I'm saying?

>So how do both of the men know who is the shooter and who isn't? What stops him from shooting an innocent man who's also trying to stop the shooter?
That's actually my major fear with a scenario like this. Doesn't help I'm somewhat melanin-enhanced which - for good reasons I must admit - is likely to implicate me in the bullshit going down.
Fortify room you're in, shoot anyone through the door with a gun that's not a cop.
>>31038604
This scenario is so incredibly unlikely that I refuse to waste any brain cells on it. I urge you to do the same.
So, I've been contemplating purchasing a P-64 recently since my LGS has them up the ass for about $219 with a holster and 2 clipazines. Is the P-64 worth the money? I've been wanting a small automatic for CC and I fumbled with one last time I was at my local fun store but I (probably stupidly), didn't buy it because I had no money at the time. Since I have money now, should I buy one?
Also;
>P-64 thread
>>31038038
It's better than nothing, sounds good if it comes with a holster though.
>>31038038
Mak guns are fun. If you want one buy one.
I like mine.
Cons: a little heavy for its size, the mag release at bottom of the grip is inconvenient, ammo isn't readily available in my area so have to order, first trigger pull is stiff as hell.
Pros: Easily concealable, fixed barrel seems to make it very accurate, very smooth and reasonably light trigger after the first pull, loaded chamber indicator is a tactile pin on back of slide so you can tell in the dark, inexpensive.
It's official.
RCS reductions confirmed but I don't think it will be to the level of the silent eagle.

What exactly was the point of making it shoulder mounted and bullpup?
>>31037047

>>31037047
Same reason for any bullpup I assume. Same barrel length while cutting down a few inches in overall length.

But I'm married to an awesome Latina wife who lets me put it anywhere, buy anything, and willfully cooks, cleans, and takes care of our kids and house, as long as I pay the bills. And we both go to the gym, so I'm good.
Is it really necessary for the US to spend this amount?
It's only 4.7% of the GDP. Pocket change.
Yeah. We Arakkas now
Yes, because no one else is going to step in when Pakistan and India (or China and Japan, or Iran and Israel) start getting at each other's throats
So I told Baofeng to make a triband UV-5.. he actually did it the absolute madman hahahahaha!
For real though, this thing has some pretty nice specs:
Frequency range:
[TX] 130 - 179.99MHz, 222-225.99MHz, 400 - 520.99MHz
[RX] 130 - 179.99MHz, 222-225.99MHz, 400 - 520.99MHz, 68-108MHz (FM Broadcast)
Channel Capacity:
128 Channels
Channel Spacing
25KHz (wide band)12.5KHz (narrow band)
Sensitivity
≤0.25μV (wide band) ≤0.35μV (narrow band)
Operation Voltage
7.4V DC ±20%
Battery:
1500mAh
Frequency step(kHz):
2.5K/5.0K/6.25K/10.0K/12.5K/20.0K/25.0K/50.0K
Antenna:
Antenna Connector: SMA-Female / Antenna Impedance: 50Ω
Accessory Connector:
Kenwood 2 Pin Standard
Stability:
±2.5ppm
Output power:
5W / 1W
Audio Power Output
1000mW/10%
Looks like the didn't combine the power output of the BF-F8HP with this triband frequency range though. Maybe the 8w models weren't as popular?
