Now that I've played the Beta, it's actually way better than I thought it would be. The closed alpha gameplay videos didn't do the experience justice.

Dice pls go, no one wants to play niggerfield
I just want to use the Martini Henry in game.
Anyone have experience using .22 adapters for "expensive" calibers? Is it worth nearly $30+/adapter even with the reuseability?
I'm considering having these guys
http://www.mcace.com/rifleinserts.html
make a .22 adapter for .303 and 7.5 French.
its a waste think about it
accuracy will be shit since its essentially a zero inch barrel firing a .22cal through a .30
you cant have fun shooting since every time you work the bolt you will have to watch where the spent case went or you are out 30 bucks
then youve got to unscrew everything just to reload
seems like a huge pain in the ass for no real gain
>>31176395
What about a .32acp adapter like http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/32-acp-rifle-chamber-insert?a=471502
?
>>31176429
Heard those have problems feeding through a magazine since the .32ACP round is just slipped into the adapter so it can easily fall out in the mag.
It started with me getting a Makarov. Now I'm $400 deep in building an AR, and have pic related on layaway. My friend has the same problem. He already has a PTR-91, an Ithaca 37, and a P-64.
>Mocks me for not being able to resist glorious West German Sig
>Tells me he is done buying guns for awhile
>Goes to another funstore to see if they still have an sks a friend wants
>ends up buying a decent condition 1941 Enfield they have for $350
Jesus this hobby is addicting.
>>31176245
I have it too.
Just got $200 for a job I didn't think I'd get paid for with more on the way and already I'm looking at pre-owned shotguns at the local pawnshops.
I have spend over $3000 on /k/ related shit in the past 3 months.
Save me.
>literally $14k deep in student loans

I just bought a Remington 870 for no other reason than because I didn't own a shotgun. I don't even have anywhere nearby to shoot it.
Figured you guys would know.
What SS Combat Uniform is this? It looks like a light olive green helmet and jacket. Looks rad as fuck.
Olive is typically one of the best colors along with navy.
Sorry I can't help you identify it so bump.

>The Wehrmacht had the best training and equipment during the war.......they only lost because they were vastly outnumbered.
How do you respond?
That is a true statement
>>31175574
Concur. The Nazis were bad guys, doesn't mean they couldn't have had really good guns and tactics but got overwhelmed.
Some of them did.
Their standard small arms were MP40s and bolt guns, which are inferior to the Garand.
Their de facto standard tanks were Panzer 4s and Stugs.
They had a thing for wunderwaffen, which didn't really correlate with the average quality of their equipment.
So /k/
Bro's an Royal Marine.
Came from the home from the states on ex, Worked with the USMC and he's seriously shaken about how shit they are. Their whole approach to the way they fight is built on assumption and a strict adherence to orders and heirachy which restricts their ability fight.
Case 1.
Orders given (not that the yanks do a proper set of orders apparently, sitting around a model pit for 40 minutes being told what to do and how to do it was abhorent to them) hold cross road at grid whatever.
Ambush enemy if op arises. Enemy apears. Run away. Once enemy exploit crossroads, watch them collect bits of dropped kit (all US in debrief) and leave. Obj failed emediately. Once enemy leave, run out to previous position and mark with a big fuck off "X" made of logs to mark position. This is decided by a Recon marine. Brother ask's "they havent seen us, why run out and mark our position in case they come back"
Recom marine answers "its an SOP" refuses to budge. Contacted by DS. Mission failed.
Case 2
Sitting in postion to collect supplies. Ex is a force on force scenario. All advantages to be exploited to destroy enemy. Humvee drops off half of supplies. Drives the other direction on road in a straight line. Returns with no supplies. Bro's mate summises "enemy is that way" to USMC in platoon. "Lets recce to attack". The USMC pltn cmdr says "No, orders say stay put"
Platoon wiped out in counter attack 30 minutes later by RM platoon.
Case 3
Raining. "Why are you puttinf up ponchos?" Asks USMC. "It's fucking belting down, we're not moving for 3 hours and it's a good time to brew up" says RM.
USMC get cold, wet and hungry for 3 hours.
Why are the USMC so shit /k/? He has plenty more stories.
>>31175246
You're so full of shit, your eyes are brown.
I've spent two yours in the infantry. Not once have we ever had a contingency to retreat. Your story is 100% bullshit.
We attack. We kill everyone. We kill them so hard that we get bothered that we didn't get to kill them twice.
Go suck a dick.
Shitposters are in full swing today, eh boys?
>>31175246
They don't teach you English in England? What's the world coming to?
Why the shotgun elitism other than competition? If you're just going into boonies to waste some duck, or to fuck around on your farmland, why even have an expensive shotgun?
I'm actually asking. I was gonna get an 870 or a Nova but I see the Stevens Model 320 Pump is on sale with 18.5 or 25 inch barrels for a solid $300.
Why not buy this to start instead of a $500 shotty?
>>31175226
Five hundred dollars is not a lot of money but I do agree with you. I don't need a thousand dollar Beretta to accomplish what a $350 Mossberg can.
>>31175226
cause the 320 is a pos
if you are going to buy a 200 pump shotgun get the 870/500 knockoff not the design that went rightfully obsolete.
if something on the knockoff of a good design breaks you can replace it with higher quality components. if something on the off brand gun breaks you are stuck with the oem shit that will fail in the exact same way again.

How would this effect us? How many bullets use it?
>no warning
>no manufacturers were expecting this
>no grace period meaning every manufacturer is currently breaking the law
>this will severely hurt ability to supply ammo to the department of defense and military, not to mention civilians
>no reason other than proxy gun grab
>ATF’s sudden and unexpected change in policy on wetted nitrocellulose will likely have a significant impact on industry’s ability to deliver products to the military and commercial markets. Industry members have relied on the exemption for wetted nitrocellulose for many years and are aware of no accidental detonations or diversion of this product into illicit channels. Consequently, it is unclear why ATF believed it necessary to change its policy and, more importantly, why ATF announced the change in a newsletter article with no advance notice to industry.
