First for America's Navy.
So if I'm navy reserves how would I go about becoming active duty
Managed to grab an 11x op40, ship in january and I'm beyond stoked.
If your gun is stolen from you, should you be legally required to report it stolen?
>It could prevent crimes from occurring and you should be responsible for your firearms. If you don't it implicates you in any crime that may be committed with said stolen firearm.
>On the other hand, being robbed now makes you a criminal until/unless you report it. Is it ok to be made a criminal due to someone else's actions? How is it your fault that that a firearms was stolen and how are you accountable for what happens with your firearm after it has left your possession?
>>31312843
Unless you want to be charged with any crime connected to the firearm, i should say yes.
You should report it to keep your name clean should anything happen with it. It also helps it get back to you should it be found. For this reason I keep a detailed list of serial #'s, cosmetic descriptions, and manufacturing information (origin, date, manufacture, model ect.) and update it when I get a new one or sell one. I've never personally had it happen to me, but people I know have, and they say it's a nightmare of legal bullshit that they had to go through.

Do you try to be retarded or does it just happen?
Look what you /k/ tards make me do. I bought my first firearm, a barely used M9 for 600 bucks. Before you diagnose me retarded, ill say I live in VA, so open carry is legal, and im willing to conceal carry a full sized gun at the sacrafise of not being able to bend down to pick up dropped pens. Also I chose the M9 because ive always had a crush on this gun. Its beautiful and aint terrible for a 9mm But guys first firearm feels amazing. First it gives me erections, and owning a firearm give an awe inspiring sobriety and discipline over myself and everything around me. (Im taking owning it seriously/ researching laws and studying how it works before buying ammo. Any tips or comments? Pic related
>>31312821
Pretty noice
But now that you've got a duty sized, double stack, steel frame gun
I'd recommend your next purchase by a subcompact polymer single stack
>>31312821
>Any tips or comments?
Learn how to shoot double action. Do not be one of those guys that never decocks the gun or practices because of its preconcieved difficulty.
This three part video is a great explanation. Ernest Langdon also competes heavily with the M9.

LuckyGunner's youtube page has plenty of good videos on the Beretta M9 series too with some more tips. Get the basic fundamentals down, learn to shoot DA/SA well and you're going to be a very good shooter compared to someone who starts out with a striker fired gun like a Glock or M&P.
Have fun!
>>31312821
You're not retarded for buying an M9, you're retarded for buying a gun used at the price it regularly goes for new.
I can run a 8:46 mile. I am highly smart and intelligent. I am nowledgeable of firearms and own several. I can regularly hit the center of a target from 100+ yards.
I think I have the dedication and commitment to be a marine. I want to be a marine leader and charge into combat to save future marine brothers.

well boys might as well throw all your ammo out and get this new scientifically extreme death cannon round

Brass Rolos

I know you are joking, but that round is a huge gimmick. The heaviest slug on top carries about the energy of a 22lr from a pistol and the 4 disks each carry less energy than a 25acp from a pistol... spread out over the area of a .45" slug. I bet they bounce right off of denim.
thats gotta be like 3 grains of propellant.
Alright cucklords, I went on a road trip to Muskogee, Oklahoma to check out this WWII sub. Here are the pictures.
Not sure what this is
I honestly couldn't tell if this was fake or not
Can we just all admit that the AR-15 sucks? It's not bad, but it's not really good either. It's like a Honda Civic. It has no soul. It's popularity stems from the fact that a whole industry exists just in making mall ninja bullshit to throw on it. Like the Honda Civic "tuner" scene, each owner tries to make a special snowflake example "different than all the rest", yet most end up looking like abortion in pic relates. Tell me I'm wrong.
>Inb4 hurr durr salty
The only AR that is decent are colts or milspec examples, especially a1 and a2 style variants.

Well that's a surprise. How did they get their hands on all those weapons?
>>31312086
In Japan you can own guns to hunt but you need to store them at the local police station and drop by before hunting.
Why was the concept of the tank landing ship abandoned? Did something else come along and render them obsolete?
Airplanes.
>>31311807
Airplanes can deploy tanks onto a beach?
TOW missiles, etc made it so infantry can destroy enemy armor. Tanks weren't necessary after that.
I got to shoot a running car engine with my Barrett m82a1 using M20 APIT (armor piercing incendiary tracer) rounds! Here is the video!

Looking for a dependable shortish barreled shotgun, preferably with a short/foldable stock so I can keep it in my car with ease.
Primarily for self defense, but I might plink the occasional critter for homemade stew.
Also I live in Ohio, you guys have any ideas/suggestions?
>>31311624
>self defense
>shotgun
lol
My first shotgun was a used Maverick 88 with some ATI top folding stock. It was cheap, it works, and I've still got it to this day. For someone looking for something that they'll be ok with throwing around, utilitarian and cheap, I'd look into getting one.
If money isn't an option, go for a nicer 500 or 590, or hell, even Remington 870. There's plenty of aftermarket parts and folding stocks fr all of those options.
>>31311640
err home defense rather
the car thing is because I'd be transporting it a lot and I have a dinky ass car
Anyone else have a unhealthy addiction to buying guns?
>I own 83 funz
Its mostly a mix of milsurp as well as "modern tactical rifles" I dont have any other hobbies so I just blow all my spare money on guns.

Is it possible to track a submarine by smell?
state secret
>>31311551
Typically an internal incinerator going to a container to be jettisoned in safe waters or in a situation where it is allowed. IIRC all trash is disposed of this way.
Poo goes in loo
