>>31343225

Tb(brutally)h, you did a bad job. Looks like utter dogshit
What's better, a .45ACP 1911 upgraded to handle .45 Super, or a 10mm 1911?
10mm if it's got a fully supported barrel. .45 Super beats up guns.
I kinda think 45+p+ beats out 45 super since you can still pink and the difference is minor. But 45 super probably beats out 10mm.

RIA 10mm.

>>31343111
sorry your war guns weren't designed to be used on a battlefield.
I'll be sure to inform you of the next walmart war
Stay salty
is it August already?
What does k think of this for cc?
Should i get the pcr instead?
Does anyone have the rami? Im really interested but i havent found any decent reviews.
Also general ccw stuff.
CZ75 and CZ75 compact are huge and heavy. Compared to my CC guns (p238 and walther ppk) my CZ75 looks and feels like a cannon.
You can CC it in the wintertime, though, because coats.
>>31342985
I don't like anything with a safety for CC. I want a weapon I can pull and shoot, with no bullshit.
>but anon, on DA/SA you can ride with safety off
sure, but what if it gets bumped on? now you're fucked.... so eve if you ride with it off, you gotta train yourself to sweep that safety anyway, just in case it was somehow actuated while in your holster, or during draw, etc. which is what happened to me when I used to carry a 92.
safeties are not needed if you've got a properly designed firearm.
>>31343122
>muh low speed high drag
seriously dude, when is the last time you "accidentally" bumped any well designed safety on or off? You're just butthurt because your glock trigger is shit
My LGS is selling a 590a1 for $369 should I grab one? Been in the market for a 12gauge
Yes, that's a good price.
That is a price that makes me think, "What's wrong with it?"
I'd do it if there wasn't any major flaws.

What are common things to notice on a mossberg? Haven't held one of them yet
Have any /k/omrades see the Free state of Jones?
I think it iluminates an interesting angle of militias, it toys with the idea of what is allowed and what is an outright rebellion.
>>31342550
is it just another one of those sub-plot/ subliminal messages hollywood is trying to put across?
>>31342550
Teaching a Nigress to use a shotgun. He needs to be hanged.

JESUS CHRIST JUST FUCK OFF WITH YOUR STUPID FUCKING SHIT.
Looks like an interesting movie, from what I've heard, I need to see it soon.
Does the US Marine Corps have the best system of organising infantry section/squad and platoon?
That extra team for fire and manoeuvre surely is the dream of every NCO.
What does /k/ think is the best standard organisation for infantry sections/squads and platoons?
For the record here is how the US Marines organise their infantry.
>>31342468
Too big imo. Why have a single soldier\marine with nothing but his rifle? But different doctrines of engagement I guess, each country to their own.
Imo, my idea of an ideal infantry fighting section\squad\team would be
- SL with 40mm
- Marksman\sharpshooter
- Grenadier\rifleman\AT Rifleman
- LMG gunner
- FTL with 40mm
- combat medic
- GPMG gunner
- GPMG assistant
But then again, this is what I was trained with and around, so it might be bias kicking in.

I like to point my gun at things and shoot them
Update from the pathetic faggot who still lives with his parents at 28 and thinks that the military is the only way to redeem himself at this point.
Been exercising almost every day, though I've found eating right to be hard. I've been eating less, but I still drink cokes every day. I've switched to just water today, and I'll try to keep to it for the foreseeable future. My exercise has been mostly walking or jogging (though shin splints are a problem due to my weight), but I've been pushing myself to walk/jog further each time I do it. Other exercises include sit-ups, chopping wood (and other yard work), really anything to work up a sweat.
I realize that no one is likely to care about this, I'm more posting it for myself. Insults and/or encouragement is welcomed
Pic unrelated
You can do it anon. Being 28 myself, I'm also highly considering the military. I have a career tho and don't live at home with the rents. It's just something I want to do, and I want the training they provide/offer.
Go for it man. You can do it.
For shin splints, you're probably landing on your heels. Try landing on the balls of your feet, like you were running barefoot. Look up some youtube vids for more info, but it helped me 100%
>>31342445
Drink water constantly
how frequent is actually using your knife as a tool or to kill someone in war?
>>31342438
Tool all the time
Kill probably never unless your isis
Never unless you're a tier 0 SEAL green beret OPERATOR solid venom punished snake motherfucker. Even then, it's still extremely unlikely.
>>31342438
I dont know shit about shit, but If you are reduced to using a knife to kill during war, something went terribly, terribly wrong.
What have you picked up recently?
First purchase outside of California. Felt amazing walking out of the store in the same day I give them my monies.
>>31342416
How the fuck does this go back together?
I was cleaning the action of a Marlin Model 60 and one of the side plates was kinda "loose" so I fucked with it then it just kinda exploded.
I'm posting this in this thread because I got this today for $80 and now I'm just pissed off at it.
Picked up a Sub-2000 (9mm Glock), and a Century C39V2 with a replacement bcg.
Just picked this up today.
Should I buy a Mauser? What should I look out for when I buy one?
>>31342396
No, stay away from Mausers. You want a Mannlicher.
>>31342396
>Should I buy a Mauser?
Yes.
>What should I look out for when I buy one?
Depends. You just want any old model just to have an example in your collection, or do you have a particular interest in a period of history/conflict that they were used it?
>>31342396
You have a wide margin of weapons to choose from if all you want is a Mauser.
Things to check for:
Muzzle wear
Head spacing
Firing Pin spring strength
Stay with post 1898 model designs and you should be good.
Do all guns have the same accuracy? Does it all depend on the shooter?
Ex.: If I take an AR-15, will it have the same accuracy as a musket made in 1775?
Yes.
>>31342373
No >:(
Sure.
And pistols have the same accuracy as revolvers
Let's buy a bunch of A-4 Skyhawks (which have very low operational costs, maintenance schedules & flight-deck-length requirements) plus a couple of choppers and a light aircraft carrier like maybe an Essex to carry them all and be our mobile headquarters, then sail to the vicinity of Africa and hire out our forces to drop napalm and bombs and make strafing runs on the enemies of whichever african junta pays us the most?

We are going to need pilot training
>not mirage IIIs
We LITERALLY have not one a single fucking war since we adopted this shitty thing.
Why the fuck do we keep shoving it on infantrymen despite the endless list of complaints they have of how unreliable, quick to wear out, and weak in caliber the platform is?
Even 6.5 would be better than this chaos, the US military is a joke because of this. Why the fuck does the US keep shooting itself in the foot?
>>31341950
I don't think any nation has ever one a war, OP, regardless of the rifle they used.
>>31341950
>>31341963
We one the Golf War. And the War on Terrorists, we one that two.
>>31341950
because infantry rifle and caliber makes almost 0 difference in modern war. It needs to be just barely big enough to have enough lethality to scare the other guy into taking cover when you open fire, and to allow you to carry as much as possible. Infatry weapons exist to hold ground and keep enemies from over running airbases, armor, and artillery, not to win battles.
Small arms have reached their zenith until energy weapons of some kind come around.
