Hey /k/, I live in the Jewish Republic of Jew York, and I need 10 round AK mags. I don't want to break the bank buying more of the Arsenal 10 rounders (they are great though), I was wondering if the Magpul AK mags are any good. I know Tapco is ass though.
Tapco
>Entirely made of plastic minus spring
Magpul
>Made entirely out of plastic minus spring
You tell me genius
>>31355396
I'm referring to build quality, not materials used. I know both magazines are mostly plastic. I do not know of any affordable metal options in 10 round.
>>31355538
I don't think you understand
The reason Tapco mags suck so badly is because they're made entirely from plastic. Locking lugs, feed lips, everything. Magpul is no different in that regard when it comes to AK magazines.
I was late on the other one so bare with me /k/omrades
> be me 18 year old social fuck up

> pack clothes and the general necessities
> get to the train station

> its basically me, my friend (light interest in /k/ stuff but still better than nothing), lodge bro, his girlfriend, his cousin, and 3 other chicks from our school i only knew from sight and just assumed that they are stacey tier
> lodgebros cousin tho was a bit too /k/ if youd ask me: the dude had these leather boots, they had wear on them but oddly very well maintained and prestine, almost shinning, some OD trousers, an OD trenchcoat that looked dope as fuck... he also had this cool ruck with a OD painted german helmet
> nazi /pol/ak detected
> he doesnt talk too much, his face is covered by some cloth and a wool cap
> we get in the train and we start to know eachother
> lodgebro said his dad left some funz at the lodge but doesnt know exactly what he has, his gf is super nice, a bit liberal but not to the calicancer america has
> one of the girls (lets call her Ana) has a major boner for funz and ww2 history
> another chick (Stacey because she was one) just seemed to me like a liberal feminist with daddy issues
> the last chick tho (lets call her Gabi cause its short) was more of a bookworm...she didnt have deep knowledge but knew the bulk of most subjects
Cont? 1/?

Nice fake story.

part 2/?
> So Gabi and my friend get along pretty well since he is a bookworm too (mostly Marx, philosophers, manga and ocassionally some Sven Hassel if i lend him a book)
> i keep to my Ana since she likes funz and we discuss Cold War era weapons
> /k/ dude just sits there, he decides to remove his facecloth and get off his hat revealing some pretty aryan features like blue eyes and a nice clean and shaved face
> he doesnt talk and completely ignores the conversation, he just looks outside the window
> ticket control comes in, pretty old chill dude, asks me what i have in my wierd bag (pelican case)
> i explain that i have a rifle, he asks me if i have permit and all the papers, i show him and he starts ranting about the times back in communism when he had wagons full of soldiers deploying for training, all of them having AKs and such, he told us how most were just chill guys but there were a few retard ones too
> ticket control leaves, and we keep talking about various stuff, trying to avoid the trigger subjects
> after 3 hours we finally arrive, its around early morning and its snowing pretty light, the scenary is fucking beautiful, woods and field and all sorts of landscapes
> lodgebro says we have to pass through a village and hike through the woods until we get there, but luckily theres a nice trail
> the villagers are preparring for Christmas too but one halts for the /k/ dude and talks a bit with him
> "guys go on, ill catch you in a minute" he finally speaks as he walks away with the villager
> we slowly walk and we joke about how he might get kidnapped or fucked in the ass by the villager when he see him catching up with us
> he has a shit eating grin on his face as he catches up with us
> "what did you do you sly devil?" lodgebro asks
> /k/ just shows him a bottle of rakija "the villager gave it to me and told me to keep up the good work"
> "he gave it for free?"
> "he wanted to, but im not that jewish and i gave him some money"

you should see the shit in the other spoopy threads, this shit is softcore fantasy compared to those fairy tales
will 45-70 kill the deep wood spoopys?
>>31355056
If it has the power to enter 5+ inches of flesh, then yes.
>>31355056
that jacketed soft point looks like it'd be pretty gnar.
yes, it will terminate people from Georgia with extreme prejudice.
Uwe Boll finally goes off the deep end, creates the dumbest shit ever and tarnishes mankind's already questionable reputation.

So disappointed, instead of him charging the white house hes just is a non-descript forest in a shootout with the feds
Some of the shit he said in the movie was blue pilled and completely false. Movie fucking sucked
The leftist/anti-gun rant at the end of the second movie completely killed it for me.
weapons that don't appear in games as much as they should
>>31354704
I like that guy's videos even though he uses spergy game footage
>>31354704
Also, calico m100
>>31354813
>spergy game footage
What makes one game footage more spergy than another?
/k/
What weapon was the most advanced for its time?
Picture unrelated
this man is the most advanced weapon known in the galaxy
>>31354703
smokeless powder
>>31354703
Tommy gun
/k/, i have enough to buy one
is there any reason i shouldn't get it?
>>31354685
It's your money man, do what you want with it.
yeah, go to /biz/ and ask them what you should do with the equivalent cash, then make a decision
>>31354685
The walnut full lengths ones are way cooler
Fellow /K/unts, I want a new rifle in .308 and am considering an Accuracy International. What do you guys think? Is it worth the cash to remove paper target?
Id be using it to shoot to around 800 yards, mainly as an intermediate round for my .338LM. The .338 was an impulse buy, that I enjoy shooting, but I think that practicing with .308 will get me better results in the long term.
Id be putting some good glass on the rifle, but could do with suggestions for it too.
I'm thinking either leupold or night force, though a vortex razer is also a consideration.
>>31354624
>.308
6.5 Creedmoor if you really want precision.
>>31354624
yeah if you want better results for more or less the same price, go with 6.5 creedmoar
>>31354624
It's a great rifle and if you have the money then you won't regret it. If it isn't your main rifle and is more of a practice rifle then there are other options that almost as good and a lot cheaper. Unless you just want to spunk cash.
I got mine in .308 as in my country you can only really go out to 1200 yards at dedicated ranges and less in the open country.
Nightforce would be the best option for optics to do the rifle justice. I put a s&b 5-25x56 on mine.
Now looking to get a suppressor for it at some point.
Guys why does my cat love my ammunition room so!
Nice cat
I wish I had an ammunition room
>>31354553
cats are hoarders by nature
Would this actually work?
>>31354355
yes you fucking mongoloid. now go shit post on /v/
>>31354355
Im a noguns faggot but it shouldn't
Something to do with how there isnt a complete seal(?) so gasses will expand all over, well, that and the fact that its a shitty suppressor alternative. I'm also hoping I'm right in saying supressors and made for certain calibres but im not sure.
Anyway, no, it wont.
why the fuck is the firing pin so sharp? that would deform and break in just a single strike.
I can't make out the cylinder very well, but it doesn't even look like it;s fully supported. The fired shell would also come flying out as well.
the frame doesn't look like it'll be able to withstand any inference cartridge.
Do you guys think it's a good idea ?
>>31354291
Yes
I never understood what was wrong with the FAMAS.
Halp pls
My wife needs a gun of her own for defense, unfortunately, she is a womanlet and it's incredibly hard for me to find a gun that will work for her.
1. .38 special has too much recoil for her (this was target loads out of a full steel K frame).
2. Not strong enough to pull back most slides.
3. Will probably limp wrist and cause a jam.
4. Has small hands.
5. Too weak to hold up a gun over 2 pounds without shaking.
I'm literally to the point now where I'm considering a .22LR or .25 ACP for her because I'm out of ideas...
Try a Walter CCP.
Most women can't rack a slide because they don't know how as opposed to not being strong enough. It is intuitive to us but not them. They need to be told exactly what to do and how to do it. Most women do not understand physical manipulation of anything and if the object is a gun you have to add fear on top of it.
>>31354356
I could always just have the gun cocked-and-locked for her so she just needs to flick the safety off.
However, I'm more worried about the limp wristing. I'm not sure I could train that out of her.
>>31354270
LC9s Pro is a pretty solid tiny carry gun, should be fine on all points beyond perhaps recoil and slide.
For the slide she's probably not using her strength because she's afraid of "hurting" the gun. Explain to her it's literally made to resist explosions and nothing she can do will hurt it.
The recoil might be a bit much at first, but once she practices as much as you will make her practice, she'll be fine. It's a 9mm, any recoil issues are purely psychological.
Get the Pro version because there is no external safety, which she probably won't be practiced enough to operate quickly.
My understanding is that STOVL fighter jets like the Harrier were conceived during the Cold War as a way to have an air force that would be resilient against bombing. Instead of a few large airbases, you'd have a larger number of smaller bases that would be spread out and more difficult to eliminate. You would also have the ability to take-off without a runway in the event that your runway was bombed, and you could put your aircraft closer to the front line because they can take-off and land almost anywhere.
However, in practice this idea has never been successfully implemented. The only niche where STOVL craft have ever found success is when being operated from amphibious carriers, where they are not even really needed. So what then, is the justification for continued purchases of these aircraft?
>>31354030
>being operated from amphibious carriers, where they are not even really needed.
Please explain this statement
>>31354054
Not OP but american carriers seem to work just fine with conventional take off and landing.
>>31354054
Any real amphibious operation will involve support from an actual CATOBAR aircraft carrier. What's the point of keeping a dozen STOVL fighters on the amphib?
Is it safe to say she's our girl, /k/?
>>31353824
Only when she was a teenager.
>>31353824
Lmao she's such a slut for attention. Love it.
Why do you still carry a Ruger LCP? Don't you know that in AWC (Adverse Weather Conditions), it will fail on you and get you KITS (Killed in The Streets)?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmiBWA_a8Eg
To any anons who use an LCP, you may want to update your daily carry system...
>>31353797
I'll make sure to carry a Mk.23 if I plan to crawl through the Russian country-side.
the only test a LCP has to pass is the pocket lint trial.
I own one. Shoot it like 5 times a year to stay familiar. Works about 90% of the time.
>tends to dry out after 75-100 or so rounds, then becomes a stove pipe factory.
I think this is do to lube drying out, or limp writing.
>spends 99.9% of its time in my pocket, holster, or safe. This shit is not a mud gun, guy.
Judging the Ruger lcp 380 custom by its mud-gun running capabilities is like judging a Bentley on its off-roading capability.
