Hey /K/rauts, so for the last 2 years you guys have helped me make my first gun purchases. The first being a normal Ruger 10/22 and the other being an armslist find of a Vz-24 8mm Mauser. Well now I come to you glorious people again in need of help. I've been looking for my first range pistol and I feel overwhelmed by the options. I live in the Seattle area and I usually go to the Sultan ranges when I go shooting to give you and idea of the climate. I've so far narrowed it down to the Sig p226, Beretta 92, Glock 17/19, maybe a high-power (haven't researched that one much) or a CZ of some kind. Out of those options I'm leaning towards going for the p226 since I feel like my first pistol should be the highest quality (go ahead and roast me if you think I'm wrong). But if you guys have other tips and advice for which one I should go for it would be much appreciated. My budget is around $1000. You guys have helped immensely in the past and I look forward to you guys calling me a faggot.

The best possible advice is to close this tab and stop taking advice from /k/, if they convinced you to get a fucking 10/22. Good lord, why not an air rifle, or a fucking red rider, at least you could shoot in your own backyard ffs.

They recommended a .22 caliber since I hadn't shot that many guns so I could get used to different kind of recoil. It's also one of my favorite firearms because who doesn't love to plink around with cheap af ammo?

Hey /k/ I almost got murdered in my sleep and all my guns stolen. My mother knew this was going to happen and she didn't tell me. The only reason survived is because i COINCIDENTALLY got all my stuff out an left. They invaded my house armed when I wasn't there. They turned my house upside down looking for my guns. I also have their plan on audio. My mother recorded what they were saying, the entire plan is on audio and my mother didn't even think to tell me to leave the house or anything. I barely find this out today. They broke is last night, and i had already took all my guns and ammo to my brothers house. Is there anything i can do that will actually get them JAILTIME and not just a small slap on the wrist, or like a max 1month sentence?

I had a spring powered pump-action shotgun that shot yellow plastic BB's.

I had a realistic looking bolt action rifle with a working bolt and a gold painted wooden bullet on it.

I had disc guns and a realistic looking black squirt-Tommy gun.

If I ran around town with my toys like I did then, I'd probably get shot by the cops.

I got a no.4 mk1 back in june and ive tried everything to get it to shoot straight, but it still shoots a 4 foot (if not wider) group at 100 yards.
I only paid 400$ for it, is it worth it to rebarrel?
Or should i sell it and buy a better enfield?

Make sure the rifling is still decent. After that, ensure everything is screwed down tight. If it's not a case of you needing to git gud, you might want to take it in to a smith and see if there are serious stock bedding issues at play.

get someone else to shoot it, and have it looked at by a gunsmith.

rebarrelling it will likely cost at least as much, if not more, than another gun.

i was thinking if nukes yeild the highest power to weight ratio. Than why not make mini nukes to use on armour. Like the size of 9mm rounds, you put them in a hand gun and shoot it at tanks

It's incredibly hard to fission anything smaller than around 10kg (correct me if I'm wrong) of uranium or plutonium, and you'd likely just end up with a lot of radiation poisoning and cancer for the production and soldiers alike.
Even the mini nuke in real life, the Davy Crocket nuclear mortar, was only just able to clear it's effective explosion radius, so I dont think using nuclear tank shells or bullets is any good idea to be honest even if it was possible.
