Wholesalers were pretty much out last I looked. A lot of the sub 1k ak's are drying up. One option is a dealer can order those npap pistols and you could sbr it.
Fuck na.
I hate the pistols
find a SINGLE fucking flaw.

For the price you can get a subcompact 9mm that holds more.

Redpill me on shooting gloves /k/
Good / bad brands
Recommendations
Have some big American titties in return.
Going to require more titties for a full redpilling, anon.

Okay
shooting gloves are for fags unless it's actually cold outside
then, a pair of well fitting leather gloves works the best. mechanix grip gloves arent bad either but they don't provide any insulation
Do you ever regret not joining the military?
No, because I did.
I do regret going to college though. Supposedly my opinion on that is supposed to change and I'll definitely think it was worth it looking back twenty years from now, according to all of my mentors during my high school years. Still hasn't happened though, five years in.
No, not really.
I mean at the time sure, but looking back, my country hasn't deployed anywhere in years so I wouldn't have been doing anything.

So...any gun? And what is the junk metal for?
>>31372148
>>Guns that will work for 60yrs with only homemade oils/lubricants (sunflower oil, animal grease) and local spare parts (junk metal).
Why would you only have access to animal grease and Sun flower oil for 60 years? Do you intend to have literally no mechanical devices around you? Everything will moving metal parts requires lubrication and good fucking luck keeping an engine running with bear fat. How could you have enough ammo to last 60 years without any other mechanical devices either? You can lug 100,000 rounds with you but no fucking generator?
How are you planning to fix a gun with junk metal either? Do you think you'll just be jamming bits of a broken teapot into where your broken extractor was? You'll need metal working equipment and the knowledge to use it.

A stainless steel single action revolver would likely handle decades of use and exposure to the elements.
I don't feel much nationalism towards my country anymore. Never was too interested in guns beyond marginal interest. I wouldn't even care if I'm fighting for israel anymore.
I simply want to slaughter as many muslim pigs as possible. I want to exterminate these roaches without going to prison for a lifetime. I'm very envious of the stories on here of people pumping bullets into these sub human rats. I don't care if I lose 4 years of my life. I just have to know that I will deprive at least one mudslime of life so that there will be 300 less of these viral beasts in america and europe 20 years from now due to their fecundity..
>inb4 edgy
How feasible is this? Do they still do this in the us military? Will I have to join the french legion?
Please tell me what I need to do as far as military service, in order to get into a position where I can exterminate muslims on the battlefield. Thank you.
>>31371895
Assuming you're not so batshit insane you can pass a psyche evaluation, you can join the US marines and then you'll be the first deployed and really get to kill sandniggers with a bunch of other jarheads composed of America's finest warriors
>>31371969
I'm afflicted with personality disorders but I can hide it, have no public records, and know how to fake the MMPI.
I need to be SURE that I will get to kill muslims though. Not sit on a base doing fucking nothing. I need to kill these beasts.
what about the french legion? I hear combat is basically guaranteed.

Why is that man a yank? All boat pilots during the Normandy landings were Royal Navy personnel.
Good evening /k/unts.
I'm in my late 20's, and I am a small business owner. The company that I started is doing very well, and I am looking to either sell it off, or at least hire somebody to manage it while I go off and do my own thing.
I'm moving back to Alaska, and I think that in my semi early retirement that I want to start up a private security company.
The company that I would like to start would be focused on protecting off shore fishing assets, for instance crab fishing pots from thieves.
I have experience with 29 foot boats, and I really would just like a reason to go sailing around Alaska wearing a plate carrier and my FAL for a living.
Startup costs from my early analysis are pretty hefty, but I'd like to hear what you guys think.
The basic business model is this:
>Provide quality risk management for fishing assets.
This would be done via actual on site security guards, patrolling the waters surrounding the clients assets. We would also offer deterrent devices, as well as security systems, that could be installed on the assets to help locate and identify thieves.
Fee's would cover the cost of boat fuel, employee wages, insurance costs, boat maintenance fees, any company assets that are used during the patrols, etc.
I'm thinking that we would also offer normal guard services, simply because it be stupid not to take advantage of the security guard licences we have to purchase anyway.
From the searches that I've done, there isn't anything like my idea out there right now.
This is probably because of the fact that there is no demand, and we would be lucky to break even.
I know that crab stealing is an issue in Alaska, or at least it was when I was up there, and it is an issue with non commercial fishing as well.
I don't expect this to work out at all, I'm just playing with ideas for my retirement.
Do you guys have any ideas? Any thoughts or comments?
>>31371669
If you hire me, I'll finally be able to justify buying the FirstSpear Buoyancy cummerbund thing lol

I was just looking at that about 5 minutes ago. Small world.

Bumping with related boats.
Considering getting 1300 dollar Colt rifle.

Dont be a faggot and buy an overpriced piece of trash, get a M&P sport.
>>31371469
I was considering S&W but I want T6 aluminum, is this a stupid meme? Is the M&P with tac rail worth it over Colt? Thank you for the response

colt le6940's are $870 at walmart. where the fuck are you?
$3,000 Budget
Must buy three weapons.
At least one and as many as two may be handguns.
At least one must be a rifle.

>GP-100
>P220-10mm

>Beretta M9A1 (why the fuck do I not have one of these yet?) - $600
>pre-ban Daewoo K2 - Let's call that $1400, though I've seen them as low as $1k
>IBM M1 Carbine - $1000
There, got a good pistol, a good rifle, and a good historical piece that I've been meaning to re-add to my collection.
Assuming you don't have any:
Build and AR-15 from PSA (non-PTAC) parts $700
Buy a Tikka CTR in .308 or .260 (if you do or will reload)
Buy a G40 if you already have a 9mm/.40/.45, if not get a G19/17 or M&P-9(c)
If you're not into long range shooting, substitute the Tikka for a 1895 SBL/GBL.
Spend the rest on optics and/or ammo.
the way you say which ar15 implies you won't build
so daniel defense m4v11. which ever version has the 16 inch barrel and keymod rail. I think you can find it for about $1400 online maybe.
after that, either a glock 43 or s&w shield, both sub $400
and for the 3rd weapon, full size 9mm. hk usp is $700 now.
so $1500 (erring on the side of expensive for the DD rifle)
$800 for usp (again, fudging shipping and transfer fees)
$400 for glock 43
$1500+$1200=2700, not too much room for ammo, but enough.
you could also use that $300 to buy iron sights, a sling, and a weapon light for you rifle.
So if something happened that cause there to be another revolution against the government, how would the people go about it?
Would they just trot off into the forest and do hit and runs on bases (despite the vast majority of Americans having no idea how to survive in the wilderness)
Would they stay in their homes and keep their involvement in the rebellion a secret while making bombs and occasionally going on attacks?
Would it be a war where territory was occupied and kept or would the rebels always be in hiding?
How would any of the rebels communicate or even know who real and who is a spy?
Do any Americans have the know-how to make a homemade bomb or turn a truck into a technical?
There's a post from some alleged gov't planner on poll with the scenario. Unfortunately I don't have the cap on my phone. Good read, whether it's real or not. Hopefully someone will post it.
>>31371138
>>31371165
Nvm, found it.
I personally think there would be a rift in the military, and any rebels would simply end up supporting separatist unit movements.
Alright /k/, I'm going to buy a Springfield M1A soon. I'm in CA so an AR10 isn't really an option for me anymore and I want a semiautomatic, magazine fed rifle that's accurate out to at least 600 yards and a Springfield M1A definitely fits the bill. However, I do have some concerns about buying it as far as stocks go.
Should I go wood stock, polymer stock, or fiberglass? The deal with wood is in different atmospheric conditions, wood tends to do not-so-good things. Changes in elevation can cause the wood to warp and different humidity levels can cause wood to swell which will change the accuracy of the rifle, and in worst case scenario (and I'm hoping I'm wrong), warping would completely ruin the wood stock leaving me having to buy a new one.
Polymer/plastic stocks are usually pretty cheaply built and for a $1500+ dollar marksman's rifle I don't want a stock that's going to be crap since I've heard a rumor that the factory M1A stocks yield terrible long range accuracy. But that's just a rumor to me, I have no idea how true that is.
A good fiberglass stock would eliminate both of those problems but they're definitely expensive and would kill my bank account if I wanted to put a good quality scope on my rifle.
Any suggestions with what I should go with, /k/? Also, discuss your favorite rifles.
>>31371131
Poly stock should do ya just fine
Plastic is fine, wood is worst, fiberglass turns it into a bench gun, which is not the point - it's a battle rifle.
There are ways to strengthen a plastic (polymer) stock. Example, you can epoxy about ten inches of .5"x.125" aluminum bar stock to the side of the forearm (the barrel channel), and that'll stiffen it right up. Get the Sadlak recoil spring guide and mag release, and a Smith Ent bolt release (I know, I know, Smith sucks, but it's a good product). Shim the gas system, it's just as effective as unitizing and it's a cheap DIY fix.
Don't get a SOCOM, .308 should never be fired out of a barrel shorter than 18", it's just a waste of the cartridge.
tl;dr you should get a Polytech instead of an M1A.
>>31371327
>fiberglass turns it into a bench gun
the last 10,000 M14's delivered to the ordinance department by SA were in fiberglass stocks
Has the AR-15 really become a reliable platform or it's just a meme?
Yes.
Everything is a meme, even you.
Is an AK incapable of hitting the side of a building at 600 yards or is it just a meme?
