What is the export potential of the J-20?
It's out of prototype and into LRIP, will China look for a buyer?
>>31477133
It'd have to be pretty cheap.
Russia and India are on the PAK FA train, most other major nations are US-aligned (or at least relatively so) and going for the F-35. I can't think of any other nation in the market for a fifth gen fighter that can afford it.
>>31477160
Maybe Pakistan?
>>31477250
Pakistan definitely, North Korea depending on if they want to have a 10 year famine, if it's cheap enough maybe some one in South America like Venezuela.
Looking for a BCG on a budget. Any suggestions?
So far I'm looking at psa premium, rainer phosphate, aim surplus nib, and the psa premium nib.
Is nickel boron a meme? Does the coating wear off fast?
Discuss.
>>31477075
Just pay $20 more and get the BCM BCG, this is the heart of your rifle, don't cheap out.
Nickel boron is a meme.
>>31477089
I keep hearing two arguments.
>Anything milspec is fine as long as it MPI, HPT is just a test and is not done sometimes because it can reduce the life of the bolt. Don't spend extra for Mall ninja
>The BCG is the heart of your rifle, spend as much as you can.
Would I be paying for the name if I went BCM? what is the difference between the BCM BCG and the PSA Premium BCG.
A phosphate BCG that's been MPI'd is perfectly fine, so the PSA one will do the job easily. NIB is a shitty meme.
Has anybody completed an 80% lower using only hand tools?
I've seen some guides online. I am a city guy and my career doesn't involve working with my hands at all, so I'm nervous I would build one and it would explode in my face. I don't have a drill press and live in an apartment so I have limited work space, but this seems like a really cool project
Any tips? Any guides you recommend?
>>31476875
It's do-able with only a hand drill and a dremel, it will just take longer and you'll need to be patient.
lowers wont explode -- they're most likely to just crack at the back of the pistol grip area.
don't let the horrorshow pictures some anons are about to post dissuade you -- building your own firearms is a very rewarding experience, even if it's not going to win any beauty pageants.
>>31476901
Oh I'm not worried about it looking ugly. In fact, I have a soft spot for ugly firearms.
I want the satisfaction of having built it myself, that independence of circumventing the usual path of having to buy. I want something functional that will last, but most of all 100% safe.
It's just that I am a mechanical retard, a complete city slicker with regards to manual labor. I can barely work with tools sadly. So I'm afraid I'd try to build it and accidentally an hero myself
>>31476923
Well, buy a few then, so you can fuck up and not have to wait a week for another to come. Polymer 80s are certainly cheap enough.
The hardest part by hand will be milling out the fcg pocket with a dremel, but it is do-able.
>There are only two reasons to own a gladius

1972. Pre-existing tensions and ideological differences lead to all-out war between the Red Chinese and the Soviet Union.
Who wins, and why?
>>31476631
>soviet union at its comparative peak vs. China in the middle of Cultural Revolution
hmmmmm
I think there wouldn't be a clear winner. The bulk of Soviet ground forces were arrayed in the West against the European border. They'd have to ship them east, into terrain they hadn't trained to fight on, and then try 'Land War in Asia'-ing into China. I'm sure that the Soviet Navy would have wiped what out what little excuse the PLAN had, they might bog down in the land campaign.

Wargames Red Dragon has a very similar scenario
Although in this one its later and Deng "Money and Bitches" Xiao Ping is in charge.

Can your knife cut a shipping tube clean in half in a split-second out of pocket deployment? Didn't think so.
>>31476233
Did you even watch the video of it? Cause he didn't cut a shipping tube in half...he just stabbed it. Also all the things he did cut with it, none of the shit even had clean cuts. Enjoy your shit knife that has no purpose.
>>31476233
Just remember the culmination of 20 years to make a knife that lifts a fucking car.... A slab of steel that lifts a car
>be me
>need to lift car
>call Lynn Thompson
>"Lynn i need a knife that lifts a car"
>snake oil commences
>"it'll take me 20 years but I'll do it "
>" i guess this car can wait "
>20yrs later
>i now have a knife that can lift a car and stab said car multiple times
>most knives can stab through car doors
>I've done this with leaf shaped blades
>I've done it with a spyderco manix 2
>Spyderco won't lift a car
Seriously cold steel is fucking retarded
I like some of their shit but their videos are ridiculous.
>>31476277
Peasant plz. You would not dare speak such blasphemy in the presence of a knife that could stab through your car and kill you.
Should I buy into the political fear and start buying 5.56 ammo. I recently bought an AR (S&W M&P Sport II) and I have four mags for it. The debate didn't inspire much confidence and I am worried about future availability and price.
Inb4 CRY shill setting the record str8
Anti gunners are going for an AWB. There is no point in stockpiling ammo. Pre-ban mags could be valuable after an ban though
obama tried for 8 years i dont think its gonna happen
>>31476194
It doesn't matter what happens, what matters is what people think will happen. If lots of people think Clinton will ban ammo, lots of people will buy ammo, price rises, time to dump you stash and cash out.
This may be a stupid question but how would you mount a bipod on the RFB?
Also general Bullpup application thread.
>>31476009
phoenix bipod
>>31476009
The easiest way is probably to get the quad rail attachment and mount it with the legs folding forward. Note that this will almost certainly make them extend in front of the muzzle of the 18" RFB. It makes more sense for the 24".
>>31476044
What are the benefits of the 24 inch over the 18?

What are the best quad rails on the market? Are there any quality quad rails that won't cost me $200 plus? Should I go for the 7 inch rail or go full high speed low drag and get a 15 inch rail? Just throw some knowledge at a guy holding a bone stock 6920.
>>31475506
Let me first ask what you intend to slap on said rails. I've found myself happier with non-quad rail handguards because quad rails tend to be uncomfortably shaped for basic shooting and gripping. Unless you really plan to fill it up (and likely you don't) quad rails are not particularly good options IMO.
>>31475518
I just want to put a flashlight on it.
>>31475547
I was in the same situation as you. I got a Midwest Industries quad rail for my midlength. I got mine for ~$120 iirc. You can find them for a carbine length for the same price. The other options are much more expensive.

/k/ you're the only people that can help me. I need to know what top these operators are wearing. I know they're GIGN but I can't find the maker of these jackets or tops anywhere and I know you guys can help a faggot out. I'll bump with the other three pictures I have of them wearing this top. It seems pretty regular for them.

There's a debate coming up in one of my classes, and I need citable reasons that concealed carry would help on college campuses. Also need help finding some article from long ago, can't find it anywhere. Some girl, in one of the states that only allow students to keep their guns in their car, was assaulted in the parking lot because she couldn't get to her gun in time. I know it sounds really vague, but I think I could use it as a source.
All mass shootings have happened in gun free zones. A shooter doesnt care if guns arent allowed and this law doesnt affect them. This allows people that want to legally carry the ability to do so, plenty of crime happens on campus and you have the right to defend yourself. The lack of a campus carry law didn't prevent any of the school shooters from bring a gun.
Source: now git
>>31475176
Campus carry doesn't harm anyone, and there's a chance it could help someone. People who want to kill other people don't care about weapons laws on campus anyway.
the fact that many states already have campus carry with no ill effects is saying something, more states should follow suit.
Im going to pick out my first CC gun tommorrow.
Im leaning towards pic related.
What does k think of the XDs?
just get an AR-15
>>31474791
seems ok, i went with p238 HD model its 380 all steel so it doesn't kick as bad, is fun to shoot
>>31474791
I prefer the G43, but the XDs is fine. It's cheaper and has better sights, so it may be a smarter choice.
Could tell me everything you know about the landing gear of the UH-60, please!!
