Is $750 a good price for an AMT .44 automag??
>>31556139
Just get an AR.

Pretty great price, amazing depending on markings and condition even. But just a heads up. .44 Automag =/= .44 mag (.44 rem mag) ammo is a problem.
Im in the market for a new battle doggo. I have some preference in an outdoor/hunting dog.
I have my eyes on Visla as a breed, but I want to know which dog would be easier to handle with 5-6 hour work days?
I intend to buy a puppy btw
Maximum budget 800$ or so
Thanks boys
>pic related, may he RIP
>>31555987
Forgot to mention, I have a field right by my house so getting outside isn't a problem.
>>31555987
Just get whatever pup is the right size and needs a good home.
My battle buddy is a German Shepard/Husky mix. Decent size, smart, protective, and high energy.
>>31555987
go to your local lb, people get rid of good dogs all of the time. Especially hunting dogs, because they dont understand they need the exercise.
pic related: my dog i picked him up from the pound a week before his execution day.
or you can go to your local hunting/traingdog show, we have one once a year and at the end of the day they are trying to give the dogs away.
I don't know a whole lot about guns and I've only fired a low caliber revolver once. Do people often lose their hearing after firing higher caliber weapons for a while? Do people just get used to the sound? Enlighten me /k/
>pic unrelated
>>31555793
Wear earpro you big dumb faggot
>>31555793
>Do people often lose their hearing after firing higher caliber weapons for a while?
not if theyre wearing good earpro
>>31555793
(with some exceptions) youll damage hearing if youre shooting without earpro
always use earpro
if you are referring to soldiers,
yes, many soldiers with end up with some manner of hearing loss
"Grab SKS, go Innawoods" meme aside, how does the SKS stack up as a SHTF/Innawoods gun? Was it really just the price point at the time, or do they actually have merit in such a role?
>>31555781
Poorfags.
>>31555781
Grab ar go innawoods is the new meme.
>>31555781
It's ok and a very neat gun, but there's both better and worse options out there.
Stripper clips are easy to carry around and easy to use, and there's decent options for carrying ammo.
It's not like shtf is going to be a series of firefights anyway. It'll just be like going back in time some decades, you'll have to work a lot harder, longer, and much more physically to survive.
/k/
I have some questions about ammo storage.
My aunt gave me a thousand dollars gift cards to Bass Pro shops so I went out last weekend about bought several ammo cans and a shit load of rounds of .45 ACP 9mm luger and 5.56. I want to have about a thousand rounds for each of my guns in storage. I keep the bullets in their trays, which are inside the cans (pic related) and I have a fire safe which holds about 12 of these cans.
First of all, how long will ammo keep in storage before going bad? Will it go bad? Now since the rounds are in their trays I can only fit about 200 rounds of 45 ACP per can. If I were to just dump the bullets out in the tray and just fill the can up I could probably get about 500 rounds maybe more in there. If I do this will the bullets have a shorter shelf life than if I leave them in their plastic trays?
tl;dr: what is the best way to store mass amounts of ammunition?
>>31555772
Pic 2/2
This is how I have my ammo stored in the ammo cans. It takes up a lot of space by keeping them in these trays. Should I just dump all the brass right in the can and discard the tray or do these trays actually protect the rounds from corrosion or whatever?
>>31555772
I have shoot ammo that was made 60-70rs earlier and was stored in unknown (probably questionable) conditions.
Keeping it in ammo cans and using a first in first out rotation should basically guarantee your ammo will outlast you.
>>31555787
>>31555772
those trays are only to make selling them in a rectangular box easier. Dump that shit in. I have those plastic ammo cans and i can fit 600 5.56 in one or 300 7.62x54r.
And about the shelf life of ammo, keeping it in a dry, room temperature area it shuold be good for 5-10 years, but if kept somewhere like in your car, you should fire it off and replace every year.
Hi /k,
I lurk a lot here and today it's kinda of a slow day so, let me shitpost about something /k related i guess.
I live in Italy and I'm a sport shooter, and I load my own 9mm and 12 Gauge rounds (slugs), Ask Me Anything I guess?
Will drop some informatives because, the more you know.
First of all, my little stash
And yes, the M60 lacks a trigger guard. Old picture, now it's fixed with an alloy guard and I'm happier than ever.
>>31555756
Pretty cool family pic. Are you regarded as some kind of heretic for the CZ over some flavor of Beretta? Follow up, is that some GP100?
>>31555756
What do you think of The Jersey Shore?
Does your gumar make good baked ziti?
Thoughts on gabagoo?
Loadin for 12 Gauge is very rewarding. Since basically the shotgun is a pipe with a chamber and lock, you can propel almost anything that fits in there. So there's a lot of stuff that can be loaded and shot thru a smoothbore.
There are also rifled shotgun yes, but it's really a contraption that works only with some kind of ammo.
It's like having a big bore rifle that shoots slow bullets, while not having a properly working shotgun with shotshells.
Loading shotshells is a easy to learn, hard to master technique since while there are little tools and skill involved, having performing ammo out of your handloads is more difficult than say, loading for pistol where you go for function and quantity.
what did they mean by this
>>31555720
Within the movie they were retarded crackheads. The stupidity of the weapon was intentional to show how dumb they were, and the slightly smarter one even comments on how his buddy fucked up a "sawed off" shotgun.
If the characters had been smarter, they would t have robbed the mob and thought they'd get away with it.
>>31555750
This
I've got a feeling the director knew how retarded this was
>>31555720
What happened when he pulled the trigger?
How is this shotgun supposed to work? Space pirate magic?
Heck of a shotgun

Gun room vs gun safe? How do you organize? How do you calm your OCD?
Every room is a gun room
>>31555470
Touche
I once met a guy that liked to count his ammo and stack it neatly.
Id like to remove the external safety latch and whatever internals so as to make my gun safety-less like a glock. Guns are copies of the cz97 and Cz p0-7 poly
How do?
>>31555456
While this seems both retarded and like bait, I'm going to assume it's real.
You probably shouldn't do that. Find a gun that already has the features you want, or don't want. Why would you attempt to alter this specific model as opposed to reacquiring a new firearm?
Does it have sentimental value?
Did you get talked into buying it and feel obligated to like it?
It's a piece of metal.
Get a different piece of metal in the shape you want.
>>31555489
I'd really like to mod this piece of metal with no sentimental value instead of spend another ~$350 on another piece of metal of the same caliber that does the exact same thing but with no safety
>>31555456
If they're true to spec copies, get a cz-p07 decoker
for the CZ97B copy, you're pretty much out of luck, the different holes in the frame are needed for the BD decocker. You can (very carefully) decock manually and carry in double action mode without the safety though.
Guys! Isn't it cool that America and Russia have completely different, competing assault rifles, infantry fighting vehicles, tacticool speacial forces, AWACS, fighter planes, and main battle tanks?!
I think it's awesome! Reminds me of the days when every nation had its own distinct weapons.

>>31555434
isnt it fascinating that Russia is the world's largest landmass country but has an economy the size of Spain? Really fires up your neurons
Lol that is because they have not known the power of globalism.
Plane tech is moving to a single point. That is why American planes look like Chinese. Ever wondered why C-802 and Harpoon looks the same? Ever wondered why pyramids are found in Africa and South America?

What are some non cringe inducing velcro patches. Show me what you got.
I'm looking for some that look good, display a clear meaning and aren't worn by mall ninjas.
Will Russia ever discover s-ducts?
>>31555338
You can't discover something you already know how to produce.
>>31555387
>slight curve
>OPs is a slight curve as well
when will Sukhoi discover actual s-ducts instead of minor bends?
In a nuclear war scenario, how many silo personnel do you think would refuse to turn their key?
>>31555280
i have no idea
>>31555280
None, it's literally their job. The commander might refuse to give the order that has happened before in the past. But the people turning the key would do it or someone else would.
