HAVE A TENDIE!
Alright gents, i need help from k.
I live in central florida and am itching to finally get a 91/30. Problem is, i don't know where to even start looking. I've checked a few LGS' but no joy. Anyone else know where in the area i could look?
Or should i just go online? Is that a bad idea?
Let me know, friends.

>>31603835
What are you looking to spend, friend? And what do FFL transfer fees look like where you are? I might sell you one.
>>31603835
Honestly if you really want a nugget buy something a little more unique like an m39 or a carbine or something, 91/30s arent the value they used to be
Alright I really need your help with this guys, so i live in Mexico and to put it short there is only one gun store in the entire country and its crazzy difficult to get a permit to get in to said store.
How ever time to time randomly there will be some one selling an unregistered firearm but becauas these are illegal they are expensive as shit and there is no selection you kinda just have to go with what you get : /
Luckily for me a kimber 1911 22LR rimfire landed on my lap one day so i snagged that puppy up, now my question to you is does the barrel need to be threaded for it to be compatible with a silencer?
Will this silencer work?
And overall did i do good?
https://www.armsunlimited.com/SureFire-Ryder-22LR-Rimfire-Sound-Suppressor-p/sf-ryder-22-a.htm?CartID=1
>>31603659
That site wont ship a suppressor to Mexico & the barrel would need to be threaded. The good news is i dont belive kimber ever made a dedicated 22cal 1911, so if you can get a real 1911 upper you could convert it to 45acp.
>>31603659
Ya dun bad Pedro. How many pesos?
>>31603727
I´m not following what do you mean? like a conversion kit?
>>31603744
i paid 11000 pesos for it, not a bad price compared to what glocks are going for.
What's so good about these angled meme grips?
I'd like to know if I want to buy one.
It's all preference muh nigga. Try one out and see if you like it.
>Seeking a second opinion on whether to buy a 12 dollar piece of plastic
You aren't poor, are you?
Have you ever tried to hold your rifle and your left hand tend to drop a little to reads the wrist to where only 2 fingers and your thumb touch. This is for that.
I went to a rental range a few times and tried out a few guns. I shot the best groupings with the 1911 Range Officer in 9mm. I really like the frame, the sights are awesome and it just felt great in my hand.
However I never see anyone here, or anywhere with 1911s in 9mm? Is there something wrong with them?
Do people just not like having only 9 shots in a 9mm handgun? Do they just not fill any niche being that 1911s make up for their shortcomings with stopping power? Or is there something wrong with them?
Idk, I just really liked shooting this gun. It would mostly be a range toy. My house would be very difficult to break into so I'm not too worried about home defense. I live on the third floor and lock my doors at night
Because 1911 in anything but .45 is heresy.
But seriously, if you like it in 9mm, go for it.
9mm 1911s have been a quiet secret among the unpretentious for years
>>31603505
>>31603503
Yeah. I do realize that .45 would be a more practical choice for HD because stoppin powuh, but 9mm is cheaper and the main purpose of this gun is to get myself to the range as much as possible and learn to shoot. I might end up going with a Beretta 9mm first, then get a 1911 in .45 later.
Can anyone tell me what the hell this is and why it doesn't seem to die from wasp spray?
Any other ways to kill it other than putting a tazer onto a metal tennis racket?
Comparison picture see how big it is
That's a hornet, you dingus.
>>31603355
Its not like the others hornets nearby.
They are normally a section of my finger this once is some hybrid

The greatest combat sight of it's time.
>>31603261
>of its time
>mid 70s
I want to disagree with you but don't know enough about mid 20th century sights to do that.
>>31603289
Still a perfectly serviceable rifle to this day.
>>31603261
Pso-1 was the greatest combat sight of that era. No contest.
How's /k/ doing today? Also
>that first sip of the day
>>31603069
I actually know the creator of that meme. He's a pretty okay dood but doesn't own guns so I know that's not you.
That shit is fucking hilarious.
>>31603127
I think it's a silly meme. I would find it annoying if I didn't already buy these so so it's easy for me to join the meming/shilling
I have about 15 days to go for my Maryland handgun qualification license and then I'm buying this bad boy. No need to buy anything smaller than a full size since there is a near zero percent chance of me getting a carry license.
>>31603069
Doing pretty well. Bought this NodakSpud AK74 receiver and also broke my ar15 last night :(
Which commie LMG is best, /k/?
>>31602801

PKM is best by far.
Also, have a PKM in 5.56x45 for lulz.
>>31602819

It's Russian new destroyer.
I was thinking of picking up a CZ 75 SP-01, is it a good gun?
Yep, pretty good.
I got one recently. Awesome pistol.
>>31602751
Full-length rails, highly accurate, ergonomic. They really do feel amazing in the hand. Surprisingly rugged, also. Since the rails are full-length, there really isn't a lot of room for grit and grime to buildup in any meaningful way. They'll shoot very dirty. A lot of people baby them, considering their aesthetics and overall monetary value, but they are very dependable.
One issue is the rail being so low inside the frame, and the serrations being kind of smooth, that racking the slide is SLIGHTLY more difficult.
Also, they're big. Consider a P01 for a CC gun.
tl;dr: 9/10, buy it
>>31602907
debating between this and the standard 75B.
How does they says I says it when I needs to says it?
Fuk Burnoh
Eff Kay Branah

?
They says you're a fucking mong.
what does this cartridge do that 10mm doesn't?

Does /k/ know how to operate at night? What does proper training for this entail? I heard a proper set of NVGs can be pretty expensive
Playing some Insurgency on night mod made me realize how hard it would be to do anything in pitch black darkness, much less operating
>>31602460
does operating in my dreams count? it happens at night.
Very challenging, very slow. Even using NVGS youre not anywhere close to the same level capability as day time. Depending on what type you use, your depth perception goes to shit - and need to use lasers to aim which is significantly less accurate. Theyre heavy on your head.
>>31602460
If you want an accurate simulation OP you should tape a set of toilet paper tubes just infront of your eyes and attach a brick to your head because night time operating is limited FOV, depth perception and heavy/batteries.
The worst part about night vision is if your friends dont have it. I am forever cursed to wander around in the woods alone.
>inb4 some fag posts the gpnvg-18
Nobody here owns one
I'm not usually a /k/ browser, so if this is a frequently asked question, I'm sorry, but I wondered about this while opening up a can this morning for my dog.
Does being left-handed act as a hinderance for gun ownership and use? Do they have to make left-handed guns for people special, or are most workable in either hand?
I tried googling it and all I got was pic related, a 1958 western film. I only ask because I've had occasional interests in seeing a gun show and learning more, and I'd like to not walk in asking a probably obvious question.
>>31602431
Most guns are made for right handed people, but they're not impossible to use left handed. Stuff like slide release and safety lever will only be on the left side of the gun to be activated with the thumb of a right handed user.
There are a lot of ambidextrous guns you can get with controls on both sides, and some let you swap which side the mag release is on.
real problem with guns is not being left or right handed but cross eye dominant
>>31602613
>tfw left handed with right eye dominance
