They won't prosecute for that.
Sootch did the same thing and they called him on it. No charges. He'd probably be able to use the mentally deficient defense successfully so maybe that had something to do with their decision.

Yes. I mean there are worse ideas, but that is on the bad idea spectrum. I don't know your situation, but in general a house is better protected against the elements and intrusion than an old cargo van, it's generally harder to drive\ tow away a house.

Okay so I have been drinking and came up with this.
Consessions of gun owners.
All firearms must be registered with the government.
Gains.
1. No more state laws governing mag capacity and gun features.
2.no requirements for smart guns,
3.legalisation of silencers
5. ATF is replaced by a dedicated FBI branch
6.all atf gun regulations are removed.

Retention? No. They stay pretty well put in your pocket, keeping the gun in orientation to be drawn. They are better than nothing for keeping lint out of your gun, but you still want to clean it regularly (even if you haven't fired it). I pocket carry daily with no real concern.

They are decent holsters but have a few drawbacks.
1. They are very comfortable as long as you don't wear it against skin. It will pull hairs and get sweaty and if you aren't careful it may cause a rash.
2. They keep things in place as long as you don't move around too much. So they are good for office or driving carry or even for going to the theater/game/church and sitting. If you plan on constantly moving, bending, or lifting you will be readjusting it all the time.
3. They lose their "stickiness" after a few weeks of consistent wear, they say they don't but they do (even after cleaning them like the website says). Anything you use constantly will have normal wear and tear.
Bottom line: It is a comfortable yet very situational holster. I would recommend it but be aware of its weaknesses.

Slight derailment question. I've been thinking about getting a CZ527 for my little sister, so she can have a good centerfire range rifle. She's hit the point where she's outshooting her old .22 (and just kicking ass in general), but she's uncomfortable with my full-caliber rifles like my Enfields. I want to get something with irons, but might mount an optic down the road.
Am I stupid? Also, would .223 or 7.62x39 be a more pleasant cartridge to shoot (both in recoil and muzzle blast)?

The CZ 527 is an awesome rifle in general. I like them personally in 7.62x39 but .223 might be the better caliber for her. They come with single set triggers just like my 550 above and ill tell you that it is a killer trigger out of the box.

Are fat bodies always a burden in a combat situation?
Do they require more resources?
Do they take more time to fulfull a given action?
Do they harm the image of whatever group they belong to?
Are they more likely to whine and complain, harming the overall group's effectiveness?
Are they able to carry as much as a comparable fit male?
Are they able to deal with physical obstacles as well as a normal human?
Does being a fat body give them any advantages?

We had a fat fuck up an moved him to the Armory. When the BN CO or Sgt Major did inspections he was allowed to go to his room so he wouldn't be seen. Our 1st Sgt thought he was such a fat fuck up he literally tried to hide that he existed.

Why haven't we perfected rifles yet?
The AK has been around since the 1970's (and I imagine conceptually for many years prior) yet for all its reliability its still seen as inaccurate. The AR platform has been around since the 1950's and is still known to be unreliable. Add to that the countless other rifles produced over the years and the abundance of technology compared to the 50's, 60's & 70's, why is it that after more than half a century we haven't produced a rifle that is both the most reliable and the most accurate ever?

I should add, small arms aren't really a big deal in the grand scheme of war. They only need to be good enough. A better radio, MRE, tank or plane will make more of a difference in a conflict than a better rifle.
