What happened to it? A lot like the SR47 a few got made, tested and it just went dark from there. Was it too brutal of a gun or did the cons outweigh the pros?
no reason for it
what is the practical purpose ?

Blow the bolts off a door still have a lot of rounds left if using the drum, can be point man with the team and turn opfor into hamburger
Is there any need to buy a higher capacity pistol? I've been eyeing the FNS9 a bit trying to imagine the holster set up, belt set up, and types of clothing I'd have to wear and it seems like a never ending tunnel of buying shit that might or might not conceal a firearm.
I have a p238 sitting in my pocket right now, I don't even own a holster for it. I get dressed for the day, stick it in my right pocket, pull my t-shirt over the handle and I don't think about it again. I imagine if someone saw the handle then they'd just think it was a cool cellphone case. If there's a home invader then I would use my AR-15, no pistol necessary. If SHTF then I'd just use my AR-15 as my primary firearm.
Is there truly a case for higher capacity or am I missing something?

More bullets is usually better when you might need to shoot someone. If you can conceal it, then why not. There's a reason revolvers aren't the go-to for ccing anymore.
Of course carrying a 30 round pistol mag is silly.

>Of course carrying a 30 round pistol mag is silly.
pleb.

>Of course carrying a 30 round pistol mag is silly.
It's completely doable with a PMR-30... but each bullet is only .22mag.
Tell me about British aircraft /k/, specifically from the years 1950 - 1990. That's right, this is a cold war thread. It just occurred to me that I don't know about any British planes other than the Tornado and the Harrier jump jet. What did the RAF use for air superiority before the Typhoon? Did the RAF have any A-10/Su-25 equivalent for CAS? Were they capable of flying the F-4 Phantom? Was there a British Pierre Sprey arguing for lightweight single-role fighters? Was there a British LeMay arguing that all money should be spent on bombers? Did they ever have land-based ICBM's? If Britain and France went to war in 1984 who would win?
>>31650360
>If Britain and France went to war in 1984 who would win?
The USSR
>If Britain and France went to war in 1984 who would win?
France not being a NATO member at that time see Article 5.
TLDR glass car park.
>>31650360
>What did the RAF use for air superiority before the Typhoon?
The English Electric Lightning
>Did the RAF have any A-10/Su-25 equivalent for CAS?
No. Britain didn't have enough money to build such a single use aircraft.
>Were they capable of flying the F-4 Phantom?
They could and they did.
>Was there a British Pierre Sprey arguing for lightweight single-role fighters?
No, because the Lightning was essentially already Sprey's ideal aircraft
>Was there a British LeMay arguing that all money should be spent on bombers?
Arthur "Bomber" Harris is the closest equivalent, but he was not as prominent as LeMay was.
>Did they ever have land-based ICBM's?
No. They tried an failed with the Blue Streak.
>If Britain and France went to war in 1984 who would win?
No one "wins" a nuclear war.
Going though and doing some seriously needed cleaned on my grandfather's stash.
Will be asking basic appraisals, cleaning and general advice and titbits.

The rough and uneven edges and shape help break up your outline more than a solid, round helmet will.
Also it keeps shade on your face and neck.
What went wrong?
Photographer did a bad job framing the shot and cropped the rotors

Why did the magazine pouches they use for the Gustav's in this film fall out of favor? Like why are vests preferred over having ammo hang across the body or on a belt?
>>31648705
Because we have flak jackets?
1) You've got body armour on, you might as well use it
2) It's easier to sit in a vehicle with a vest rather than a belt
3) Belt loads are still used, especially by light infantry
>>31648705
Because you can fit A LOT more pouches on a vest. Pretty much only light infantry use belts these days, as the other anon said.
