>be me
>be 18
>want guns
>lives in maryland where you cant buy handguns till 21
>have no place to store riffle
>wild idea, what if i just made my own.

So green text aside here is my predicament. I have very anti gun parents, I live in an anti gun state, No out of house gun storage is available, riffle is too large to hide in room. So i know since im 18 im legally allowed to manufacture and posses my own rifle but does the same apply to a handgun. I have not made a gun yet and as i understand it if i was to make a rifle as long as if follows NFA standards and i dont attempt to sell it there is nothing legally wrong with that. so does the same apply for handguns in Maryland. I know i cannot purchase one bc they are regulated items but does possession of a handmade one apply to that.

TLDR: In maryland is it legal for an 18yo to manufacture and posses his own handgun.

Sounds like a fun project, but making a glock from and 80% might be easier.

I have here 2 knives marked Camillus. One is genuine nam navy issued, the other recently bought.
My question is the questionable one just a camillus knife made in the 90s as a nod to their past or totally fake

Ok experts. I need some help. Just received my slide from getting milled from a well known place. Mounted the optic and went out to try it out. But now when I squeeze the trigger and hold and then slowly let off the trigger multiple rounds fire off as I am letting my finger off the trigger. I need some help. Thanks

Install an OEM glock trigger assembly and striker assembly, and stop fucking with things that work in favor of the new fancy wizbang product of the month.
>>
>>31791400
did he also install a DIAS?

clearly the trigger is fucked now.
>>
>>31791465
All that changed was I had the slide milled, the rest of the gun stayed with me

I bought some Federal .223 from Walmart and it has these small patches on them. First time buying ammo for my AR 15, is this bad for the gun? Or not a big deal?
>pic related

Also, I've heard to not store your magazines at full capacity. So 30 - 2 for example, is this just a meme? Or are the springs really taking damage?

I wasn't around for last thread to see if my question got answered.

If it's all about shot placement, why does Joules of energy delivered matter?
>>
>>31791385
its just dirty.

store the mags full its completely fine.
>>
>>31791385
normal
>30 - 2 for example
fuddlore that was true in nam but doesnt apply to anything past that

it is true that it is harder to seat a full mag on a closed bolt compared to a closed bolt on a downloaded mag

of course it doesnt matter if the bolts locked back when you insert the mag

Op cant decide between a couple guns. Currently looking for a WASR-10 but cant find any. (No. Im not buying a shitty ras or npap.)
I would like to find one before the elections because its probably going to get retarded and crazy again.

And in the other hand, I have the opportunity to buy a smith 29-3 with 6 inch barrel in 44 magnum.

Both would run 600$, but im torn. Ive wanted a wasr since I was 10, and theyre becoming incredibly hard to find. Ive also never seen the 29-3 for so low.

Any thoughts.

My LGS has a 10.5in AR that I've been considering for my next purchase for a camping gun, but I'd like /k/'s opinion. I'd hate to be "undergunned", in case I cross paths with a pissed-off moose or something. But it's a great deal, and feels very light and handy.

Well, I know 7.62x39 will do a bear-my friend stopped one with 5 rounds out of his Vz.58. I know it's kind of a dumb question, I just don't know much about ARs or 5.56. I'm just getting into it.

Posting this across several relevant boards. Neckbeard from /tg/ here who recently watched Apocalypse Now for the first time. For the most part I was blown away and it's instantly become one of my favourite films.

The setting of the Vietnam War really appeals to me for storytelling purposes and I'm putting together a Tabletop RPG game using the 'Nam RPG 'Grunt'.

Basically, I'm looking for any tips or bits of knowledge to compliment my reading and assist in prepping a game that feels both authentic to reality and to the surreal aspects of the war found in both movies and in firsthand accounts from veterans of the conflict.

Enlighten me with your expertise in jungle warfare, politics, the world climate of the 60s, and how best to bring all of it to a Tabletop RPG.

Include the option to frag your superiors and shoot up heroine at the FOB
>>
Sounds cool OP. But a Nam RPG wouldn't really be too exciting. Might as well make a heroin simulator.
>>
>>31790458
mostly done and done. the game im working with is really into the overall fucked up insane feeling; encourages using the dirtiest VC tactics possible and basically make everything outside the immediate squad mates a hostile or obtrusive element.

superiors and substance abuse are definitely part of that.
