Looking for gloves that are good in cold weather but aren't too bulky to fit in a trigger guard.
>>31813625
I use nomex pilot gloves for all year and dont have a problem.
>>31813625
There's a pretty wide range for "cold weather", OP. Are we talking about winter in the southern US, where temps hover above freezing, or winter in the Canadian north where it's never above -20C?
>>31813625
There's not. That's why they had to start modifying gun designs
That and people generally try to avoid fighting in the snow
How big of an explosion would it make?
Lets say this powder has been contained to blow up in the most efficient way possible.
Obviously it wouldn't make pic related, but I'm assuming it would be enough to obliterate a regular sized house, right?
>>31813589
>Lets say this powder has been contained to blow up in the most efficient way possible.
So in a pressurized container with 10tons of pure oxygen and constantly mixed?
>>31813589
Europe here, a powder tower exploded in my town a couple centuries ago, a cornerstone, a large boulder of several tons was thrown around 400 yards away. No idea how much powder it was tough.

New SKS thread. Pic related is my Chinese 1968 /26\.
Import marks and such.
Anyone know where I can get a Chinese fiberglass stock. I can't find one in stock anywhere.
>>31813930
Gunbroker is your best bet.
Sarco has original stock sets for 40-60 but they are wooden.

Guys, I need your help. I'm a sailor in the US Navy, currently in San Diego. I'm from Texas originally and have no idea how CA gun laws work. I've been told that I can get permission to store a gun at the base armory. How the hell do I got about buying a gun in this state? Looking to get a Mauser or maybe an old Mannlicher for target shooting and range fuckery, with hopes of attending a nuggetfest eventually. Plz advise.

EY SHIPMATE LISTEN HERE
You fucking boot.
Fucking google it.
>>31813005
It's not that hard m8
Walk in
"You have mannlicher? I'm a seaman you see"
Fill out necessary paperwork
Wait 10 days
Gun.
As long as you're buying a rifle, it isn't that complicated
Let me get this straight, you're worried about buying a gun at a gun store? Do you think a CA gun store is going to stock firearms that you can't own in CA?
I'm willing to bet you're not a nuc are you?
Hey /k/
Grandfather died a few days ago and left me with this M1 carbine.
Not sure if it has seen combat or not or how old it is. Any Ideas?

Take care of it. Clean it well.
Here for the upper.
I'll try for a more clear one.
Flash on for poor lighting.
I finished my ar15 lower a few days ago and now I'm looking for a complete upper and sights to complete my build.
Which uppers should I be looking at? My budget is $800.
>not buying a PSA upper already
>not having that sweet mid length gas system
>not having that sweet FN built cold hammer forged barrel
>not having that sweet chromed BCG from toolcraft
>paying $800 for an upper
Pay $500 and save the rest for a good optic
>>31812856
Is that a magnifier for his reflex sight or does he have a backup red dot?
>>31812856
Also, what charging handle that be?
This is best gun of all time.
>Single action only
>More parts than a Beretta or Glock
>Bigger, heavier, and fires a huge bullet
Prove me wrong. (You can't.)
>>31812662
I don't get it. Are you arguing for it, or against it?

OP is a retard that doesn't know how to greentext most likely
>>31813246
For it of course...
What's a good loadout to have for a riot?
With the way things are going I have a feeling there are going to be some really nasty ones next summer that make Charlotte look like a fucking picnic, and I'm in a city with a very sizable black population. Pic related is all I have right now. I'm pretty poor, but I can put aside some money, add up christmas money and tax returns, I'd say I can save up to 1500 guns, maybe more.
Should I get another 9mm for carrying? the BHP aint ideal for that. On the other hand I have a window that would be a great vantage point for shooting anyone trying to molotov buildings lol, so a rifle might be a good idea too.
maybe a backup gun... something small
PSA AR15 for around 600 to 700
M&P Shield 9mm for around 370ish
Rest on ammo and holsters, pmags
Boom. You have a longarm, a field pistol, and a deep carry piece, the last two of which share the same ammo.
>>31812791
are M&P shields reliable?
I was thinking about getting a Glock 19 for Christmas, but I kind of feel like it's a bit too similar in size and function to what I already have.
Then I was thinking about a PX4 compact because I really liked shooting my friend's PX4 but they are a tad pricey.
but yeah you're right about ammo. I was originally going to say 2000 for guns but I want to budget at least 500 for ammo (I'm talking about a stockpile, this doesn't even count ammo I shoot at the range)
Have thee heard what our holyness pope innocent III is attempting to enact ,a ban on crossbow going to go to my local smith to get a order in before it gets enacted . what are you guys getting your plebian to make for you?
Christians should kill each other in more gentlemanly ways, but you can still get crossbows to remove scaracen.
>>31812570
Say hi to the inquisition when they come for your crossbow.
>>31812732
Nay my housecarl shall shoulder the blame
I am looking to buy a new stock for my Mossberg 500, but don't know what to go for. I see the magpul stock that highly rated, but I'm a little strapped for cash and am not in the mood to drop $110+ on it. What are your opinions on Choate or that cheap John Masen stock?
How about just go with a factory stock if you're so strapped for cash
>>31812504
I'd like advice, not complaints, please. I've got my eye on two alternatives to the magpul, as I've mentioned. The Choate pistol grip is $70 and the John Masen is around $45. The factory Mossberg stock is not a pistol grip and costs $65
>>31812537
>I'd like advice, not complaints
That was advice you retard.
Canada has just started the program to replace its current frigates with new models. Pre-qualified defense contractors have been given the requirements for the designing of the future Canadian frigates.
Canada is looking for a ship that can keep up with American aircraft carriers, to be able to effectively hunt down enemy submarines and finally properly defend against be able to properly defend against enemy aircraft and missiles.
Considering that other than that the requirements and proposals are to be kept secret, what else do you guys think new Canadian Frigates should have?

got the long guns out for a breather
they spend way too much time in the safe
judge me /k/
>>31812329
You have a beautiful family
How much $$$ is this collection?
>>31812345
AR and AK are about $1500 combined.
the last time i priced the a-5 they were going for about $1100 in that condition (i have the original barrel in the safe but it sucks for trap)
no idea on the rest of the stuff.
Let's say the United States is fighting a war on the home front. If the President were to tell the forces to stand down and surrender, would a coup de'tat be likely? Would the military ignore the order and continue the fight?
depends.. if theres been a dragged out bloody war.. its just surrender and beeing sad..
if you pull a frenchy i'd guess soldiers would hide weapons and munitions and start guerilla /terror warfare on the occupant.
>>31812310
>depends.. if theres been a dragged out bloody war
This. People might be simply too tired of death and deprivation by that point to put up meaningful resistance.
>You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.
