Ok so I have been looking into getting a new deer gun, well more like two. I know for sure I'm getting a howa in .243 (or a savage or remington doesn't really matter), but the problem I'm having is deciding if I want a 30 06 (which if I go with this I'm getting picture related) or a .308.
Can anyone help me on thiSaturday?
I know 30 06 is strictly a hunting caliber as there is little to no plinking ammo but it has the versatility of going from 110 grain to 220 grains

I shot a gun for the first time today and it was pretty cool. I want to get my first gun.
Out of the guns I tried, the one I shot best and was most comfortable with was the Glock 17 Gen4.
The other guns I tried was Glock 19, XDM, H&K V9 and S&W model 66. Didn't like them as much.
Any other suggestions?

How hard is it to buy a gun, /k/? Was thinking on buying a pistol or shotgun when I move out, but when I was about 14 years old, my parents made me stay overnight in a psych ward of a hospital because I was "acting suicidal" did not stay a full day, parents took me out when they realized that this was not how to help me.
Not "suicidal" anymore, and not on drugs. But, I don't wanna go to get a gun then get rejected for that, and become a felon for trying to buy a gun.

Could be that the Zumwalts computers are fast and capable enough to handle additional computing needs of a surface group. Like a plug and play CPU for extra computing power.
The only closest thing to this I can think of is the way SAM systems use track-via-missile guidance: they use the launcher control site to process everything instead of a complete guidance package on a missile. This allows the launch control site to give the missile more computing power.
