I found this beauty for 550$ CAD. I always wanted a classic trench gun but they are hard to come by. Is it possible to convert it to a WW2 trench gun with bayonet and heat shield? Can it handle modern ammo? Is it milled steel/durable?
Can't help with much but I know for a fact they can't take 3" shells.
>>31886737
What shells are more common? 2 3/4" or 3"?
>>31886714
It is possible. The changes are the heat shield and bayonet lug. Add those to a field grade and it's essentially it.
>>31886792
2 3/4"
It should say on the side of the barrel by the receiver as well as it's caliber. They weren't all 12ga. 3" shells are more modern magnum loads.
Also check if there's a choke. If it says something like "mod" or "full" you don't shoot slugs.
Every single part should be wood or steel. It was very intricately milled and fitted by hand. Modern ammo is fine; they were made into the 70s. Stopped because they were rather pricey to make.
A youtube video on them should cover so much.
You can also find the year it was made in by googling the serial number ranges for model 12s.
And learn how to not be a DUMB FUCK that doesn't even have the capacity to use search engines or recognize the difference between steels and aluminum. If you can't do that follow the instructions in my pic.
Just like most of /k/, I heard the first mention of this place last Christmas. But since then, this name comes up much more often in shooting reports than any other place I can think of (except Chicago). What is it with this place that makes it so fucked up?

California
It's a culturally diverse town.

hajjies
Which one of you fuckers goes to the University of Montana and wears a Russian naval shirt and U.S navy hat and patches every goddamn day? I know you're a /K/ammando. I know you're out there.
It's me. Leave me the fuck alone. All I want is to drink chocolate milk and be left alone. Stop trying to be fucking pals with me.

What dorm?
>HK announced they will stop making MK23's by the end of this year
H&K master race!
They've intentionally kept that rumor floating around for more than a decade to move units.
I can't tell you how many times I've heard people talk about it's imminent demise.
>>31886537
Ah hell OP, might as well introduce the VP9SK.
Hello everyone. I have applied for a Firearms purchasers ID in New Jersey and will soon receive the credentials necessary to purchase a firearm. I would like to purchase an AR-15 for my first firearm and was wondering what is the average price of a Noob Tube in New Jersey and what are the restrictions on said Noob Tube. Is it difficult to mount on the rail?
Fuck off
>>31886508
I thought this board was supposed to give legitimate weapons advice. What gives?
>>31886516
"Hey anons help me buy a grenade launcher in one of the most heavily gun restricted states!"
This is either a shit bait thread or your a 3/4 retarded 13 yr old who plays too much COD. Either way fuck off.
Post your .22's lads! MINE is a marlin model 81 dl. And I loaf her so.
Winchester masterrace reporting in.
Anyone know where to buy parts for a model 67a? I found a website but the dude custom makes everything by order and every other website is too sketchy.
>>31886435
I have one of those. It was a hand-me-down from my grandpa. The rust is because it was stored in a humid basement for good period of its life.
Other .22 is a Marlin 925R that was the first gun I ever bought (was bought for me with my money)
>>31886435
I have a Marlin Model 81; it was my first firearm at age 11.
This is my current .22; a NORINCO JW-8 trainer. It's very accurate and the iron sights are great.
/k/ show me your fuck ups.
>>31886415
Impressive. How'd it happen?
>>31886429
Looks like a case ruptured blowing the cylinder apart.
>>31886448
Correct.
What's China's military like?
bags of sand
>>31886309
Yes
Like that guy who has money, but is used to being poor, so he doesn't really know what to do with it.
I'm getting an AR-15 because there was a break-in in my neighborhood.
Is 55 grain FMJ suitable for HD? My strategy is to stay up stairs with my gun so when I shoot him with fmj it'll penetrate through him and into the floor, but I also am curious what some good rounds are that don't over penetrate/expand/fragment/etc
>>31886276
yes
>>31886276
If you're inexperienced I'd go mossberg 500/ Remington 870
If it can incapacitate a human being, it will most likely penetrate drywall.
Who owns the patents/manufacturing rights to the AR18?
When Armalite as a whole was bought by Eagle Arms in 1996, they got the rights to the AR18 too which is how they produced the AR180B. But Eagle Arms sold Armalite again to Strategic Armory Corps in 2013 so they would be the only ones allowed to produce it again, right? Or have the original patents expired by now?
>>31886271
Likely expired. In the US if you aren't actively using your patent, it expires. Thus why certain guns like the M1911 have no patent holder.
>>31886861
This patent law is why you sometimes see strange uses of IPs like Sony making a second spider man and fantastic 4 origins movie in less than 10 years to extend their patent.
>>31886861
>>31886883
Ahh, that makes sense. So theoretically any company could probably produce AR18s if they wanted to, it's just that nobody finds it profitable?
My first NFA item. Form sent early may, approved this weekend. About 5 months 3 weeks.
Should have my next one, a 9mm AR lower, and my can by the end of the year.
>Nice Klobb
>Checking in with HIGH OCTANE UNIVERSAL DONOR GRADE GUZZOLENE
>>31886094
This gun is retarded by the way.
>>31886174
It's important that the casing's eject from the top right into your face or fall on your head.
>its klobbering time
Will these rounds be good for hunting deer, elk, black bear in the PNW? I get under 1/2 moa with these in my raifu so I know they are accurate, but will they drop game for hunting? If not, what ammo is accurate and deadly?
>>31886078
Just get some soft tip shit, it's an extra $1 a box boo hoo.
>>31886078
The Matchking is for target shooting. The Gameking is for hunting. Use the Gemeking or another quality hunting bullet, like the Swift Scirocco II, Federal Trophy Tip, Winchester Powermax, or Hornady Interlock.
>>31886078
>but will they drop game for hunting?
Probably but there are much much better alternatives. Like JHP or SP, for example.
Why not use ammo designed for hunting instead of sports ammunition?
Hey /k/ommandos.
You guys helped me ALOT for my recent first gun buy (AR15). But I always wanted an AK and saw pic related on armslist, a RAS47.
I already bought a nice optic for the AR (aimpoint comp m4) and a geiselle trigger for it. Now I am ready to get a new toy.
I talked the guy with the RAS47 down to $650. Being in Hawaii, I think its pretty decent price because of shipping and FFL fees that drive up gunshop prices.
Thanks.
RAS is crap, buy literally almost anything else.
except IO.
>>31885873
RAS guns usually are bad. Like, dangerously bad. Just be aware of that.
Op here, basically asking if you would get this rifle.
I read decent reviews on it. Yes I am buying partly because of gunpocalypse hillary scare, but don't want to regret it...
Would you buy /k/
So why do cucks hate this man so much. He literally predicted every problem that ever afflicted him and demanded their resolution only to be denied by political hacks. Every Military venture he went on effectively succeed. People can only ever fault him for getting men killed which is the literal job of an officer Why do trumanites still desperately try to defame him.
>>31885846
Marshall considered him a Deplorable. Actually he was a despot, probably why he enjoyed the Philippines so much. Match made in heaven.
>botched the defense of the Philippines
>nearly started a nuclear war with the Reds
granted, that last thing might have been better in the long run
>>31886089
and lets not forget he killed the U.S's intermediate cartridge program before WWII because he was an egotistical asshole.
If 10mm is the best caliber ever, then why did they stop making the MP5/10?
>10mm fags BTFO
>>31885810
The FBI asked H&K to make it and then they didn't want it anymore, nobody else would have bought it.
Too much recoil for the female members of special forces
Because maybe they didnt want to risk killing not only the target, but also the 10 other people behind him as well
