Finally went and did it. Only a few hours from the AZ location, did the 150. Super fucking worth it. If you're going to listen to /k/ at all, do it this time.
I did it, it's pretty good. 250 is what you really need tho, you planning on doing that?

Yeah. Need to do more simulators

A little elucidation may help the rest of us understand WTF you're talking about.

it can be amateur or professional.

Finally, a thread that has nothing to do with politics.
Just ordered one of these on Amazon for my SW Shield. It was $74 free shipping
Did I do ok? I got the rubber talon grips too. I had an alien gear 3.0 before but it was a shit
>>31932343
Nah man. You did pretty shitty with your choice...I don't mean the holster, I mean the gun.
>>31932371
It was either that or the lc9s.
I already have a Glock 19 so I didn't want a glock 42 or 43 whatever the 9mm one is
>>31932343
I don't understand why people don't like AGs, but have no problem with other holsters that are basically the same thing.
What would the ballistic performance of a 9.5x40mm cartridge be? Could it theoretically be more effective in the same role as standard full-size cartridge?
similar to 9x39.
>>31932262
This.
>>31932255
Mediocre, but probably good for suppressed SBRs since it's a very underbore cartridge
The election is upon us. With all of the known corruption in our government: proof of the dems planning voter fraud, vastly one-sided media sources, FBI that fails to do its job, and to put it simply all of the corruption with the Clintons it could be quite likely that tomorrow we see crooked hillary as president. We could be facing all kinds of firearm restrictions and war with Russia...among other things.
What do you think our future will look like?
>If Trump wins
>If crooked hillary wins
>Did you make any pre-election firearm purchases?
>Been stocking up on ammo and gear?
>What is the possibility of a mass amount of Americans rebelling against hillary?
>How easily could we kick out hillary?
>How would a war against Russia go?
>Which candidate will come out on top?
Also dumping US modern civil war type shit green texts.

The president isn't the one who makes the laws

>Not more than usual

>Not easily. Impeachment isn't a super easy process.
>It won't.
>Probably clitoris but pray to the kube for trump
I can't afford to buy a proper safe, is it better to make something to hide my two guns or just hope for the best in the dresser drawer?
https://youtu.be/5IT_vStQtoE
>>31931925
Carry them with you when you leave the house.
>>31931925
if you have kids/roomates get a safe
if you are worried about thieves hide the fucks cause cheap safes are worthless in terms of actually securing your shit
>>31931953
No roommates, no kids.
>>31931934
and what, leave them in the car when I go to work?
It's about that time of day

European here and my dreams of getting a firearm were just shattered.
First of all i come from a country where the average wage is 1000$. Any decent rifle costs 800$+ i shit you not and the ammo is 40$ for a box of 20 bullets. Add the fact that i have to pay for the range, medical tests and other things and we quickly jump to 1500$ which is much more than my monthy wage
My only other option is to get a cheaper .22 caliber rifle and have a much cheaper ammo. But 22 is useless.
.22 is far from useless and used rifles can often be found very cheap.
>>31931639
>useless
It's only the number one caliber used to kill people.
>>31931639
>22 is useless
Placing your shots matters more than caliber, how many times must we have this argument.
I'm a fucking baguette and even I have a trusty Lee-Enfield.
Dear /k/, las of lately i have a new found love of top hats moustache wax and waistcoats. I know thats pretty bad, but at least I am not a trap.
Now of course and need a handgun fitting my new gentlemen attire, and so I ask you fine /k/illers, is there something like a modern cap & ball over under pistol replica on the market? Pic related.
>>31931627
get a real one, it''l be better and cheaper than a replica
>>31931785
originals are kinda expensive and not sure if I want to shoot a 150+ years old gun every other weekend
>>31931909
if you buy them from antique dealers, if you buy them at auction they're a couple hundred. they don't make them like they used to.
I need a new handgun in 45 acp.
Only requirement is rail for my tlr1. I really like sig elites but I can't shoot them for shit compared to my glock.
>>31931555
Glock 21, buy some Taran baseplates for 17+1.
Pic very related, my nightstand gun.
>>31931653
I already have a 21 tho...I was wanting to broaden brands a bit...but I do my love my 21. Couldn't hurt to have another
>>31931653
my 21 is the current house gun, where do you get those base plates

Alright Ausfags, in the final days before the beginning of WW3 how are you preparing for the Red Dragons' pending assault on the land down under?
What do you do to protect yourself, family, and friends from the flames of the skinks?
>China invades from the North and swiftly pushes South along the coast
>Military doesn't stand a chance so they create a foothold in the great dividing range
>Border of NSW and VIC becomes the frontline of a stagnant stalemate
>Chinese begin to reeducate civilians and remove any trace of western curture, infruence and ideorogies
>Chinese troops treat whities like whities treat abbos
>treat abbos like abbos
There is no sitting back and accepting new overlords, what do you do?
If the USN and USAF can't fix it, it's fucked.
Straight fucked.
>>31931493
..Why would China Invade Australia of all places?
>>31931538
Where do we start
>Uranium
>Fossil fuels
>Gold
>Hundreds of millions of hectares worth of agricultural land
>more space for china to grow larger- they could start farming chinese soldier babies
And even oil in Timor
I'm arguing with a friend of mine over the practicality of polearms versus swords. He's claiming the only reason the polearm has been more prominent in warfare is its cost as opposed to effectiveness, and that the sword's manueverability makes it superior. I hold that range trumps pretty much everything.
Who's in the wrong here?
Polearms can be stuck through a literal shield wall. Line a bunch of guys up with shields and the pole has a longer reach.
Different strategy, different use. This is partly why Horseback won fights, they used the horses to breach the wall of shields and the sword to be more effective in short range.
>>31931450
1d12, longer reach, +1 vs plate
1d6 or 1d8, can use shield with 1d6, better parry
Situational.
>>31931450
Well, which one was used more widely in actual warfare? There is your answer.
Are there any specific laws for states that forbid pistol grips on pump shotguns? What about pump shotguns with detatchable magazines?
>>31931404
I'm from New York, pistol grips are fine on shotguns as long as they're not semi auto. What state are you in, anon?
>>31931404
If you are Norwegian I will fucking kick your teeth in.
>>31931502
I am from NJ. I am just curious to see what states regulate pump shotguns and to what extent. The new gun control will obviously go hard on semi autos but what about pumps?

Got a laugh
>A frame taken from a video surveillance camera in the Columbine cafeteria clearly shows Dylan Klebold carrying a TEC-DC9, or TEC-9, in one gloved hand. In the aftermath of the shooting, the TEC-9 became a potent symbol for the gun-control lobby and was included in the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons ban.
Awesome considering Columbine happened after the 94 ban, but we don't need to know that!
anyway, 30/30
seems pretty difficult
