Hey /k/ my grandpa passed away and while moving stuff around in the attic i came across this old jennings j-22. I was wondering if the gun can still work? Its missing a magazine but my real concern is if i need anything else besides that and a recoil spring ? Also near the rear of the barrel its broken. Sorry for the shitty pics btw

So, I'm looking at getting a Colt SAA replica to shoot and have some fun with.
Can anyone point me into the right direction of a good, reliable, Okay replica? I don't plan on doing any cowboy action shooting, But I've also never owned a wheel gun before, so I'd rather like to have something I can have some fun with and not worry about the timing getting screwed up from shooting it to much and blowing up in my face.

Uberti cattleman in .357 magnum. Has more steel in between each chamber in the cylinder and you can plink cheaply with .38 special. They also use the same barrel as the .45 colt model, just bored out smaller and as a result it has a heavier profile.

Uberti Cattleman is a pretty good replica. I have a Colt SAA and love the crap out of it. That said, it's getting more valuable every day so I got a Cattleman for going to the range. The new Uberti have two "safeties" that the Colt never had. I was able to remove both. Hard to find a no safety hammer anymore but you can replace the longer base pin. Other than that, they function and shoot just like the original. Make sure you leave the chamber under the hammer empty.

One of my former high school teachers has been robbed twice in the past six weeks.
The robber stole a handgun, hair dryer, vacuum, and smaller things like detergent and makeup. She is moving out within another month or two, but I would like to help her out by giving her cheap ideas to defend herself and her apartment. I also have some info to help you form a plan.
The robber came both times while she was at work
Didnt take anything very expensive besides the gun (dont know what type of handgun)
Has a copy of the apartment key and dead bolt key
Possibly female
Any ideas to scare away/ catch/ find out who the robber is?
