This thread is to put your minds to a bit of work, and have a bit of fun too, and to call other people idiots. Post scenarios that a squad/platoon/etc will face, others will post their tactics for said scenario. They can be original, historical, or from fiction. No era limit
Scenario 1: You command a 6 man squad and are currently tasked with reaching your objective behind enemy lines. While moving you encounter a fixed enemy position, they are dug in with good lines of sight and the high ground. They have 1 machine gun crew and supporting infantry
You have your sub-machine gun, a marksman, a support gunner, a combat medic, 3 rifleman.
Assume both sides are properly supplied, fed, and fairly well rested.

The LCP is just to have another option in case I dont feel like putting on my holster or need something smaller than the shield. I've only carried it once so far to get comfortable carrying it.
Just get it so that you have options for different outfits. Like a woman and her purses.

I prefer 9mm but want a summer cycling, jogging whatever pocket gun so I'm going to pick up a Ruger 380 v2 this spring probably. Don't see any point in one during winter.

The brass shells are only like a buck each, can't say how they run in a semi auto, but they last for fucking ever through a break action. Don't even need anything fancy to reload them, just a wood dowel and some card stock, little bit of glue over the over shot card.

Hey /k/ I usually lurk because I have no questions or interesting posts, but events that transpired in my personal life led me to need a medical kit.
I have been trained in CPR four times and first aid a couple times. This by no means makes me a doctor or qualified to treat anyone but it makes sense to me to assemble a medical kit for injuries.
So my question to you is what do you guys have in your medical kits, what should I put in mine and where should I buy supposed supplies from.

So I have an idea that's probably retarded, but I wanted to run it by people first.
Has anyone attempted to make something that would allow you to use a smartphone's camera as a sight on a gun? I mean, a lot of cameras can zoom in pretty far- mine can get 8x magnification. So, what I figured was that you could develop some sort of rail-mounted device that could hold your phone, as well as an app that adds some sort of reticule to your camera so it can be used to aim.
Now, I can already see a couple of issues with it, namely re-attaching the phone and having to zero in the sight again each time you use it, and the possibility that the phone could get loose and become damaged. What do you guys think?
