I've been trying to sell pic related. It's an m40 gas mask with an extra filter. How much should I expect to get out of it?
>>32202152
I'll give you like 8 bucks

Ask a bored "mercenary" (I hate that word), currently employed by the Los Rastrojos cartel anything. Will not compromise OpSec in any way.

So, a coworker of mine wants to get her BF a gun for Christmas, she has a $300 budget for it. She asked me for some ideas but was wondering what other open tons there are. He already owns a Mosin and a Glock 23. My suggestions so far have been:
>IAC Hawk or Maverick 88
> Romanian Tokarev or one of the Bulgarian Makarovs that seem to be floating around now
>Ruger 10/22 or a bolt action in .22 WMR
>Police trade in pistols
You guys have any other suggestions? Also general budget gun thread I guess.
>>32202060
I've seen a few non fucked 870s and 500s floating around my local pawnshops for ~$200. Check them for some hidden gems.
>>32202060
One of those polymer EAA Witnesses could work. They're basically an Italian CZ75 clone and run under $300. I don't have one myself, but I've heard a lot of good about them.
You can sometimes find a Security Six for that price on GunBroker if you're lucky.
Just Inherited this from my grandfather who fought in WW2, could you guys maybe help me identify and value this gun? Thanks a bunch! :-)

nice pickup you got there, too bad it's shit

I never got my /pol/ patches so beware the patch guy with the asian name selling them here

We should have expected as much from a Canadian.

Make your own patches, don't get ripped off from the less than reputable sellers.

Please for fucks sake convince me to not buy one of these Series 70 stainless Colt 1911s as my first handgun.
the 1911 is nothing more than a range toy
get something modern
Buy it in blue or bright finish instead
>>32201738
Blued or bust.
What kind of scumbag sells their grandfather's WW2 trophy? I hope you read this and feel bad, you piece of shit.
at least it's not being destroyed and made a spectacle out by some anti gun fucktard
This way it could at least go to someone who might appreciate it, or some bubba dying to show off his home grown gun smithing skill
Probably a faggot, I'd guess. Not like you can shoot it or anything. I think. Does anybody make copies of the round?
>>32201607
I don't see the problem. Someone who will appreciate it will probably pick it up.
Would you rather have everyone hoarding as many rare guns as they can?
What's the most autistic /k/ or weapons related thing you have seen?

What's the best expandable baton? I have a CCW permit and I want one to use as a less lethal option to my gun (I still tote my clapper everywhere tho obviously). I have no training with it them and I'm like 150lb 5'9" but I think it would be useful in some situations right? Not planning on pulling it on a big guy or anything
>>32201519
I mean, if you're absolutely sure it won't get ripped out of your bitch mitts and shoved up your ass sideways. Any expandable baton should work like an expandable baton.
>>32201538
If it gets ripped out of my hands what are the odds I get my skull smashed in before I can pull my burner?
>>32201538
I'm going to order one anyways for the fuck of it. Which ones are good to get? I know ASP And monadnock but they're like $110 and I want a steel one.
Are the cheaper ones any good?

Why don't we see any weird or fantastical guns anymore? Why is no one designing over the top guns? Why are modern guns so sterile?
Because whenever anyone tries something new people complain it's not a glock or tacticool enough.
>>32201111
Because the simpler it is, the easier it is to use.

Ok, /pol/ made fun of me for posting this the other night, and it really hurt my feelings. It's a 300 Blk barrel, obviously on an A1 upper. I do plan on putting on a solid stock. Should I go with an A1 lower, or what? Just looking for some suggestions for this monstrosity.
>>32201015
>.300 Blk
Are you putting a suppressor on it? If not, yeah, it goes in the trash.
>>32201015
>Are you putting a suppressor on it?
If I do, I'll have to use a YHM flash suppressor because that's what my can is on my SBR. I couldn't wait any more for my stamp, and bought this barrel, then it came in two weeks later so I shelved this thing for the past two years. So, I kind of want to dedicate it to supersonics and 20 round mags.
>>32201015
If you go with a a1 lower you should change out the forward assist for the much cooler looking a1 styled one. However i gotta say are you married to the idea of a solid stock? i think an aluminum CAR stock would look really cool on this thing.
What would /k/ suggest going to school for if I want to get a job in weapon design & production?
>>32200988
engineering, chemical engineer/chemistry, and possibly physics. Hit the books niggah.
>>32200997
Maybe I should have specified small arms, artillery would be cool too. But I feel like at least chemical engineering wouldn't be necessary, But maybe I'm wrong.
>>32200988
Whatever you do don't go gunsmith unless you like installing scopes and doing menial shit for dumbass fudds and bubbas all day every day.
