So, a coworker of mine wants to get her BF a gun for Christmas, she has a $300 budget for it. She asked me for some ideas but was wondering what other open tons there are. He already owns a Mosin and a Glock 23. My suggestions so far have been:

> Romanian Tokarev or one of the Bulgarian Makarovs that seem to be floating around now
>Ruger 10/22 or a bolt action in .22 WMR
>Police trade in pistols

What's the best expandable baton? I have a CCW permit and I want one to use as a less lethal option to my gun (I still tote my clapper everywhere tho obviously). I have no training with it them and I'm like 150lb 5'9" but I think it would be useful in some situations right? Not planning on pulling it on a big guy or anything

Ok, /pol/ made fun of me for posting this the other night, and it really hurt my feelings. It's a 300 Blk barrel, obviously on an A1 upper. I do plan on putting on a solid stock. Should I go with an A1 lower, or what? Just looking for some suggestions for this monstrosity.

If I do, I'll have to use a YHM flash suppressor because that's what my can is on my SBR. I couldn't wait any more for my stamp, and bought this barrel, then it came in two weeks later so I shelved this thing for the past two years. If you go with a a1 lower you should change out the forward assist for the much cooler looking a1 styled one. However i gotta say are you married to the idea of a solid stock? i think an aluminum CAR stock would look really cool on this thing.
