I wanted to ask /k/ about their opinion on the looks of the unconverted USC and SL8. I think it's bretty good. If I were to get them (I won't) I probably wouldn't go through the trouble of converting them.
What do you guys think?

They dont do anything better than any other 5.56 rifle or 9mm carbine, and are much more expensive, the only point in getting one is to convert it. Just get a SCAR or AR and a CX4 or something

there was that 870 vs. 500/590 post a couple days ago and the consensus seems to be that mossberg is better. after additional research, it looks like the 590 is just a better version of the 500.
i've found this model for sale right at $400 shipped

should I go with that or spring for the 590a1?

I just bought a new 500 for 240, super killer deal from my place of employment. No regrets as I dont imagine needing the heavy breacher barrel any time soon and this is going to be a bang around blow up pumpkins kinda gun anyway. I can't imagine the heavier barrel helping for really anything other than being ran over honestly.

I have one. It's got a little more kick than a 12 gauge but fuck is it accurate. I have a Mosin and it is definitely a big step up. They usually can come with a decent scope too.

I just received my beautiful push release Saimaa Still Suppressor + adjustable comp, Inforce weaponslight and a new sceleton forward grip for my AAC .300 BLK AR-15.
After ripping trough the wrappings I was left with a big dilemma:
I cant find the right balance for this thing, feels front heavy as fuck. This makes me inclined to put the grip as front as possible to make the weight easier to handle, however with the grip front and suppressor off it then makes my hand a bit overextended from the optimal also straining the muscles.
So, any thoughts on this;
What compromise should I make?
(I added two hex keys to demonstrate my alternative attachment options)
