Labeled as Yugoslavia K98. Chambered in 7.92x57mm. Comes with a scope labeled "Hensoldt Wetzlar Dialytan 4x 13410"
They're charging $1450. Overpriced or good?
>>32398185
About on par, if a little overpriced.
Scope and mount could be worth a pretty penny to the right guy.
>>32398185
Depends on how much of a fake it is.
All matching numbers, scope mount matches as well. This symbol is underneath the grip area on the stock.
Also says "PreduzeceB 44" on the receiver
Where do you get your milsurp from?

So I own a machine shop mostly working with custom order autoparts for older Italian cars where you cant just go out and buy parts. I have the means to make it, but just would like some opinions.
Would Pol buy a reliable electric trigger bullpup AR lower?
>some plinking guns exist and I see no issue transplanting this idea into an AR platform. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/12/19/electronic-arms-1022-bullpup-electric-trigger/
Why does all this /pol/ inspired muh revolution firearm ideas keep getting posted here?
>>32398043
because I have not had coffee today
>>32398043
This has not been made to my knowledge. so I assume there has to be reasons
Alright /k/ I got my own thoughts, but I want to see what you all think. Have at it!

If I was in charge of a country at war? T34

What options are there for a tube-fed rifle in 5.56 or 7.62x39?
>>32397655
None, the bullets are pointy so they would set off the primers if you stored them in a tube.
>>32397684
>bullets

My grandfather left me his Browning Hi Power shortly before he passed. It was in pristine shape with a nice deep blue. Not thinking much of it I stored it in the bilge area of my boat in a soft case. It got wet over the years and fast forward 11 years, I remembered it and when I opened the case it is covered in light surface rust. Are there any good methods of removing the rust so I can get down to that beautiful blue finish? I tried a vinegar soak but it didn't help much. I don't want to sand but will if I need to.
blast it with piss

here is my idea for a bolt action magazine fed revolver
>>32397248
what secures the barrel and feeding assembly to the firing system.
?

>>32397267
did not think of that
I have this old FN M1900 and I haven't tested it out at the range yet but when I manually rack the slide the bullets sometimes just sort of fall out of there and don't seem to eject properly. If I rack the slide fast they sometimes get stuck between the shell ejection port and the slide. Is this normal and what might be causing this?

Say Saudi Arabia walled off an area, and allowed people to do whatever they wanted in there. Murder, rape, mine for resources, build whatever. etc. The US/EU allows it because "muh greatest allies in the region".
The only catch is:
1. You have to enter the area naked, with no equipment.
2. You can only exit the area naked, with no equipment.
3. Anyone approaching the border that violates 1 & 2 are destroyed.
4. Anyone can enter/leave at any time.
How long would it take to mine/manufacture the resources to create firearms? You're basically starting from caveman tech.
>>32396630
Why the fuck would I want to do that
Fuck that tbdesu.
Is there a way of knowing when surplus guns are going to come in or is it just a matter of checking all the time? I seem to keep missing sales by a week.
>>32396412
I'm sure the major importers are in contact with each countries defense departments and they let the importers know when they're going to surplus more guns.
>>32396421
But how does that let us, the consumer know?
I keep tabs on my LGS by following them on Facebook. Mine recently got a crate full of cosmoline soaked Yugo SKSs.
>want to carry something for self defense
>want law enforcement to consider it non-lethal and therefore not a "weapon" in the event of having to defend oneself
So I once knew a guy who, for above stated reasons, carried a pair of padded nunchaku with him wherever he went, and spent his summers training with them. What's your opinion on his reasoning?
>>32396116
thats fucking stupid. if he carried them for self defense then hes an idiot. those wont hurt a 5 year old
>>32396129
>assumes the guy carried pic related
>>32396116
Unless you live in a self defense hating country or a retarded state just carry a gun.
So /k/ i have one gun, an ar15. I live in californa and my friend said to register it so i get cool shit.
But just today i heard that there was actually a bill to ban the rifle from the state and they will take all registered firearms. How to i get my gun unregistered? Is this actually happening? I cant find a source but im worried.
Forgive me im not really a /k/ommando
>>32396090
Defacto bans are illegal, but even then you shouldn't have complied anyway you fucking boot licker.
>>32396090
>how to get gun unregistered
Take gun. Load gun. Stick muzzle in mouth. Take gun off safe. Pull trigger until you are unable to pull trigger any more.
>>32396134
So why have 3 states specifically by-name outlawed AR15's and AK's and their clones? Surely if doing so were illegal they'd have lost the multiple lawsuits pending against them over these bans.
>>32396090
>But just today i heard that there was actually a bill to ban the rifle from the state and they will take all registered firearms. How to i get my gun unregistered? Is this actually happening? I cant find a source but im worried.
Where did you hear this?
>>32396134
>Defacto bans are illegal
There's no such thing as constitutionality, only what you can away with and what people won't let you get away with. I don't think the Dems will push confiscation anytime soon, 2018 is an uphill battle for them.
Guys why is dedbird so expensive?
Brand recognition
Same reason why Oakleys can cost up to $200 despite being made in China now
>>32396020
>target operator wannabes with disposable income
>it's $70 so it must be better than these $10 mekanix, it's also clearly for operators
>get rich
>export production to china or pakistan and get richer
>>32396020
>why is this thing that I really want so expensive?
hint: it's because you want it
