My brother gave me an AR lower receiver for my birthday, so I am no longer a nogunz. He will help me put it together, but are there good deals on components? Am I better off buying things from a gun show, or is there a firearm Black Friday equivalent? As well, any miscellaneous information or advice for a new gun owner would be greatly appreciated.

You're kinda still a noguns till you build that.
>>
>>32425489
Well first of all. Ya dun missed the black Friday sales. Second, the cheapest way to build a mid grade AR is palmetto state armory when they have sales. Which is almost all the time.

>>32425489
Well, if that's the upper you got, then they did the "hard" part for you. Just get a decent LPK with a nice buffer tube and buttstock, PSA is having a huge Christmas sale right now and you could probably snag a good deal for $120.
Also, check out their uppers if you don't want to build one. I got one of their uppers in yesterday and it's fucking spectacular.

They will probably shave off 100k per unit symbolically.

Exactly as much as the planned cost reduction program has been bringing it down by since LRIP 4.

So each F-35A will be less than $4,000?

What do you think /k/? Could a sterling mag be modified for an mpx? They look almost identical and they're all steel. Most importantly they're not 60 bucks a piece.

So, my brother and I live in a state that just got recreational weed passed. He's had his medical card for about a year now after dealing with uncontrollable seizures post car crash. After a while, his seizures started dying down to much more manageable levels, so we thought about celebrating christmas with a good plinker for his kid. Apparently you cant own a firearm and have a medical license, which makes sense to an extent, but does it also mean that people that buy pot recreationally arent under those restrictions?

People with a medical license probably aren't allowed to own firearms because of why they have a medical license. Imagine your brother having a seijure while holding a loaded gun.
>>
>>32424347
Yeah, thats what we've been thinking. We grew up arpund guns and knows basic safety. He wanted to pass on the gift to his boy, but being that twelve year olds cant legally own a firearm unless they live in Kenya, it was going to be more of a teaching tool.

I'm not going to say that Glocks aren't great, functional guns but you have shit tastes if you think they are anything above meh tier aesthetically.

Bump because I wanna know as well.

I've heard talk that .22 mag isnt good in semi autos, nor is it good to cram 30 into one mag, and these magazines can actually damage the brass.

Thats just what I've heard though.

You can dent the case of the cartridge below with the rim of the one above as you load, but it's not an issue. Ammo definitely is. They tell you which stuff to avoid (E. G. Fiochi/armscor), but CCI, seller & bellot, hornady etc runs fine. It's a bad little motherfucker, but not a "serious" firearm. Range toy only.

>>
>>32423434
Other than when grappling, not really. Maybe if paired with a buckler but in actual use people would probably instinctively bash with it instead of using the dagger

The people who actually used daggers for self-defense before the advent of the gun seem to have thought so. Do you know something about knife fighting they don't?
