alot of calibers are named after the diameter of the barrel. since the bullet needs to be bigger then the barrel to grab the rifling bullets are often larger then the caliber they are named after. 45acp and 9mm bullets are slightly larger then .45 inches or 9mm. not sure where or when that started.
as for case length not sure but thank god they rounded it off. 7.62×39mm is long enough, no need for 7.62x38.70mm

How do you do it /k/? How do you get over your insecurities? I'm only confident with guns but they took them from me. I have no guns, I've lost the opportunity to be with the only girl I could ever love, the one that could listen to my problems and I, her's. I've only been good with a few things, guns being basically all of them. How do I overcome myself and move on? I can't talk to my parents about it since they don't give a fuck about me except for what little money I have, and were the sole reason my guns got taken from me.
What do I do? I don't know how to move on. I've tried bottling all of my emotions up for years and I've only gotten more depressed, more suicidal. She helped keep me from that point but knowing now, I've lost her, I just don't know.
I really need advice here, and you all are the only ones I know that can relate to this situation.

Realize that nobody can understand you the most except yourself.
If your plan is to move out, make a goal. Calculate prices, what do you need to do? Do you match requirements? If not, work on it.
Realize that even the most caring people who try their best, are probably not good enough to understand you. People that want to use you are people you should stray away from. Become an independent person that people depend on, rather the other way around.
tldr: Stop allowing people to take advantage of you, create goals, become independent.

Fact of the matter is, there aren't too many games taking place in the bush. Only other 2 I can think of that actually even take place in Africa are Far Cry 2 and RE5.

Would it be a good idea to carry pepper spray in addition to a handgun?
I just turned in my permit application yesterday (MN) and I'm wondering if having a non lethal option would be of any use. On one hand, having the option to incapacitate someone without inflicting serious injury could be useful, but if the cards were down and I really had to shoot someone, I don't want to have a jury full of libcucks going "uuuuh how come you not just spray him tho? he was a good boy!"
is the situational flexibility worth the potential legal liability when and if I do use my handgun?

Don't think of spray as a ltl ALTERNATIVE, think of it as a lethal supplement. If the guy already has a gun or knife on you, are you going to be able to draw and fire your CCW or draw and spray them with a higher degree of consistency? Obviously draw and spray is easier and will more reliably produce some sort of debilitating effect which can buy you time to comfortably draw you sidearm and line up a center of mass shot.
Once again; don't think of it as an alternative, it is most effective as a supplement; like a flashbang or pocket sand.

For 325 you will be getting a Makarov made in Bugaria. They are the least expensive of the four countries of origin and the most prevalent. I would save 125 though as Sportsmans Guide has these on sale right now for $199

Why didn't the utilization of dogs in warfare, on a massive scale, never become a thing?
