Just like criminals!
>>32560254
>"We've confirmed, Anderson, that the shooter was using a Glock 9 handgun. As you know the Glock 9 is the preferred handgun of white hispanics."
What gun is this?
>>32559606
Glock 19 maybe?
>>32559606
not a glock, canik, smith and wesson, or a spring field
>>32559637
Nah, trigger guard looks different then a glock.
So I am asking for a friend but we need help identifying a rifle. It was bought by his grandfather at an auction and it was advertised as a Swedish Mauser. But, this rifle shoots 7x57 instead of the 6.5 round.
We think it might have been one that was exported and bored out but not sure. There are very few markings but I'll post all the pictures I can but if we can get a definitive answer on what it is that would be awesome.
Here's a picture of the receiver.
Side shot.
I have no idea why its rotating the pictures. Fuck it dumping more pictures. This is the udder side.
I think the 1911 is ugly as sin.
>>32559447
you are entitled to your opinion
I think your mom is ugly as sin.
>>32559455
On /k/ our individual opinions are facts.
Hey /k/, is this even a decent gun? This was just given to me by a friend because he said he didn't need it anymore.
>>32559318
>"Doesn't need it anymore"
>Weapon was used in a murder
>>32559318
R770?
Cant really tell what the fuck it is from your picture.
What caliber, and what glass on top?
Hard to tell from that pic. Inspect the weapon and give us any identifying info that might be on it. Do you know what caliber it is?
Soon

>sure enough a cartridge explodes in the drill instructors face
>brass and projectile fragments go through his right hand

Looks like something Daquan cooked up in the hood out of a stolen bike frame using a ball pein hammer
He has 3 of them, all uniform. They all have a weld on the front
I've been kicking around the idea of building a parts kit for some time. While I haven't decided on what to build yet, I was wondering if anyone has tried their hand at building anything. Any tips or warnings?
Thanks in advance.
>>32559031
Learn stuff about the gun you're building and what mistakes people commonly make. Figure out what tools you'll need and more importantly, how to use them.
t. built a few AKs, a FAL, and have a Sten kit staring me in the face
>>32559053
Amy chance we can see the Sten? Kinda curious.
>>32559217
It's a Sten, it's not that interesting. I would say not worth building because you have to make it closed bolt.
Okay /k/ hear me out and tell me what you think.
Generally speaking, we know that conventional war is dead. At least between two major powers.
However something occurred to me while reading about China's imminent collapse. What do you think of the following scenario?
>Decades of Communism, pollution, and Chinese faggotry causes worst housing crash known to mankind
>Chinese military is obese, sickly, untrained, and can't sustain war against anything except a bunch of yak-fucking Tibetans
>Can't aggressively expand due to civil turmoil and lack of combat resources
>China balkanizes USSR-stye into a bunch of warring independent provinces
>Chinese military breakups as units swear loyalty to whichever province they call home
>A couple provinces will have no organization or military support and be pretty much Somali-tier except with soy sauce and rice.
>US sends specOps, CIA, and/or limited military support covertly to whatever faction we believe will come out on top as dominant power in former Chinese territory
>Russia also picks sides providing "secret" support
Bonus round: Years of Middle East fuckery causes us to decide to stay out of the affair entirely, at least until Russia starts moving in and then we try to steal as much cake as we can before they eat it all.
And that would be the closest America would get to conventional war again.
>Generally speaking, we know that conventional war is dead. At least between two major powers.
No, no it's not.
>>32558974
>Generally speaking, we know that conventional war is dead. At least between two major powers.

is a well-armed society really a more polite society, or does our risk tolerance just rise proportionally?
>>32558689
MAD.
>>32558689
come around me when i oc and see how much shit you try and start. you get polite pretty fast.
>>32558689
If you need guns for that then your society is shit anyway.
AMAP-ADS reaction times are on the order of microseconds. This means that a tank could fire a 1.5 km/s APFSDS projectile at it from across the street and the system would be fast enough to swat it out of the air
the age of MBTs fighting each other line of sight are over, we need some kind of EW warfare or autocannons to remove sensors before engagement
what do you think will need to change to fight these new defences?
>>32558559
I've thought over this a bit, some autistic manchild ideas beware
Double rocket launcher, first one is top attack that dumps a load of chaff on target, second one fires after a short delay for kill
Another double rocket launcher, first fires an explosively pumped flux compression generator warhead, fries the electronics out of range of APS and second launches after delay and finishes job
what else, ground based radar jammers?
>>32558626
Before I knew about the reaction time of future systems I was imagining hyper-velocity guns, and for Light AT work, shoulder launched EFP explosives
your chaf idea is good imo
>>32558644
or maybe the other thing is we just use some sort of directed energy weapon to fry all the electronics
What ever happened to the Panther that was seized by the German army?
>>32558359
put back into service
>>32558371
Put back into what service?
>>32558359
After inspection it was revealed that items (also including a torpedo and a 8.8 Flak) where not demilitarised probaly. He will highly likely never see this stuff again and porblay face jail time. The Panther will probaly end up in a museum.
When it comes to a general use axe, why shouldn't I spend $500 on one of these?
Also, may as well be axe/hatchet general as we don't have one of those threads.
>$500 for a fucking axe
What kind of shit can you do with a $500 axe that you can't do with your standard hardware store axe?
>>32558385
Lighter wallet for higher speed lower drag.
>>32558321
why would i care if you buy a sheet metal axe?
This is the Ruger PC-9. Apparently it's fairly rare (produced 1996-2006), and I can pick one up for 750 dollars. I've posted a couple thread before about /noguns/ and I'm still trying to decide. This looks like a great gun that I'll want to shoot for the rest of my life. Anyone have experience with this gun? I'm still looking for a home defense/fun option.
Look at the marlin camp 9 also
>>32557981
Depends on what you want. For that price you can get a Novem, sub2k ar9, and Uzi. All of which shoot 9mm. What do you want from your pcc
750 is too much
look for a Marlin Camp 9
for 750, you can get a decent AR-15
