Alabama operators report in
Greenville here. I've got a hay field we can use for a meet and shoot after deer season is over if there's enough interest
Georgian here, you bama' guys are alright. Please keep Mississippi away from us.
>live on the outskirts of niggerham
>literally one decent range and it's an indoor tiny operation
>only one gun store that isn't a fucking Bass Pro or Walmart
>nowhere to rent handguns and try out future CCWs
>have to go into downtown niggerham to apply for carry license
Reeee etc

there is nothing illegal about building your own firearm. Its a semi auto pistol and it doesn't have a stock or forgrip or anything like that so what is the point of this thread?
>>32655387
It's an open bolt design. That said, Alaska has laws that allow you to make full auto guns if you keep them in-state, and ATF can go bugger themselves. Not sure how much people want to test state vs fed laws though.
>>32655458
As this post says its an open bolt so even if it were modified to be semi only it is still illegal for the simple fact it is an open bolt. As far as the ATF is concerned open bolt is always full auto.
Doing a 20 inch ar 15 build soon. Its gonna have a fsb and I'm looking for the best rear sight. Price limit is 150 dollars. Been looking at the fixed midwest industries or the troy flip ups. What you guys recomend?
>>32655345
You've picked two quality companies, at this point it's really personal preference. I've got some Troy flip sights (bought pre-Horiuchi) and they are very solid little guys.
20"? fsb? why not go with a carrying handle?
>>32655345
NON-UGLY pistol thread
>grocks stay out! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeee
They made this in a nerf gun. Its super neato.
>>32655281
I know this one get's posted every thread.
But it needs to be.
>>32655281
why isn't there a rifle version of this? I've always found it interesting
>In West Papua many hill tribesmen go into battle against Indonesian forces dressed in their traditional garb and fight with spear and bow & arrow
Brave or stupid?
>>32655119
Yes
>>32655119
That wooden M16 handguard was prolly made from the sams cock sheath as the guy in the middle
>>32655119
bows and arrows are still effective for standard infantry engagements in the jungle (Where engagements can sometimes take place in less than 300 meters), especially if your men are lacking proper arms. Once you kill them and secure the area, you can steal their equipment for your men. The Chinese Red Army did this against the Nationalist Army with Spearmen.
Tell me about the svt-40. I found one near me in oregon in a shop for $1400. Its a Tula and a finnish capture. Should i go for it?

Are you a collector or do you just want a gun to blast 7.62x54mmR with?
Oh dear, autonugget for 1400 bucks? Last time I saw it here was equivalent of about 400 in CZ. From what I heard, they are little bitchy to clean, but man, the a e s t h e t i c. Also, 7,62xNuggetfood is a fun round.
Why is this rifle only talked about by Swissfags on /k/ despite being one the best battle rifles ever made and issued to soldiers?

Because no Americans can easily obtain one save for the Venerable Larry Snickers (Praise Be His Gravy-Soaked Beard).
>>32654996
Because it's expensive, rare and ugly as sin? Always loved the cute K31 charging handle though.
>>32655004
You think that gun is ugly?
I find it quite aesthetic actually.
Looks awesome.
Whats your opinion on the french foreign legion?
I am thinking about joining it.
>>32654677

>>32654677
You'll prob die in training or come out a real soldier. No IG complaints there.
Just took this picture a few minutes ago. No bullshit, this is my gun rack. Figured I'd see what you /k/ommandos honestly thought.
>>32654575
You don't own enough guns that would necessitate an entire rack.
>>32654575
Jesus OP. Those weapons are very dangerous.
>>32654605
Close enough.
>tfw reading your state's CCDW page with all of the rules and regulations
Jesus fucking Christ and I'm in a state that's considered to have it good too. Fuck this nonsense.
Delaware's CCW is so retarded I haven't bothered to get one. Pic related.
I don't want to go around asking my neighbors to sign off on me carrying a gun. I don't even want them to know I have guns. They'd probably try to steal them.
>>32654476
>mfw my state adopted Constitutional Carry
>>32655401
You don't ask your neighbors you idiot. You ask people that are not related to you and you have a mutual respect/trust with.
Just excuses to not follow through with the process. It's easy if you arent retarded
Alright /k/, need some advice. I had an accidental discharge the other day when I was about to clean my gun. Went through the wall into the apartment next door. No one was injured, no charges filed. Police came, talked and left a case number. Said it wasn't criminal but said my apartment my contact me about damages. I'm more worried about being evicted. Anyone else had something similar happen? Should I notify my apartment management or just ride it out? I'm not sure what to do.
Dude just shut the fuck up and let it go.
The fuck is with gun owners blowing things out of proportion?
>>32654473
>Anyone else had something similar happen?
No, I'm not an idiot. Get a used ballsitic vest from ebay and use it as an unloading station in the future.
>>32654487
>>32654487
wtf is an unloading station? that is some fudd level gay shit i see at ranges where they make you unload your ccw
how about you just dont put your finger on the trigger when you eject a round?
Hypothetically if lightsabers became a possibility and the gov'nt didn't slap them with 13 different federal bans, how would fighting differ from fighting with standard bladed and blunt weapons?
>>32654434
Nothing would change. Why up to someone and swipe them with a melee weapon when you can just shoot them from afar? And if you want to stab someone, you don't want extra light and noise from the blade being superheated plasma.
Having a lightsaber doesn't give you jedi powers.
If the blade it weightless or near-weightless you'd probably get something similar to fencing. Blades would get stupidly long because there's no downside to have a huge blade.
Depending on the weight you might get useful bayonets. If they could be made pocket sized they'd be good self-defense weapon.
>>32654434
There is much weight, much craving attached to such a tiny thing of light. For the male, it seems to have inordinate importance. But we shall leave such male preoccupations for philosophers and cultural historians.
>every single "modern" military force in the world is completely focused on technological feel-good liberal garbage to "win wars" despite not having won a war in close to a century
The only thing that wins wars is total genocide of the opposition.
How much longer are we going to pretend that this isn't the case?
>>32654275
total genocide is expensive
About a year and a half.
>>32654275
This is why you got DQ'ed from service anon.
>New T-90
>dub the T-90M
what do you think?
please keep your vatnik and 50 cents undercheck
>>32654105
i think it has a giant shot trap around the entire turret ring. that tank is a suicide booth.
>>32654105
An attempt to further upgrade the increasingly obsolete T-72. Better ERA coverage, probably T-14 electronics, but still a T-72 underneath.
So what's new here? Syrian skirt around the turret? Better than nothing I guess.
