Just to be clear the pic is a P229. The P226 will be longer. It's a great gun though. The Stainless Elites have steel frame which I consider a nice upgrade from the standard aluminum frames. The heavier weight gives it a really nice feel while shooting.
If you do plan to carry I'd get the P229 Stainless elite. I carry my P226 MK25 sometimes but its difficult unless I'm wearing a jacket.

P226 Elite is too heavy to carry for regular use, buit it'd make a great range gun.

I'm in the market for a new waterfowl gun and I'm looking at the Affinity. I really don't want to dish out 1.5 K on a Benelli or a Beretta and Franchi seems to offer a similar system to the SBE 2. Anyone with a Franchi to give their .02? So far I've seen some fairly positive reviews. Opinions? Other suggestions?

Franchi makes solid shotguns, I prefer them over their Beretta counterparts. I still believe Benelli makes the best shotguns out there.
That said, the Affinity is a fantastic autoloader.

So i'm cleaning out my garage and it occurs to me; the last time i was doing any appreciable work in here, i mistakenly uncovered a hive of little shit mice and all i had on me was a sheet rock saw and nearby i had a single action .22, which i was forced to do battle with.
This time i wouldnt be caught so poorly armed.
Sure enough within 10 minutes or slapping on my carry pistol this little fucker starts frontin. I had to show him who's place he was squatting in.

What's a good first tank? I've never really been into this whole tank business so I don't know how which tanks fall into price/quality/ease of operation. I was thinking the Panther V would be a good place to start but they're a bit scarce now. Also I don't have 3 friends so operation will be tough. I'd also have to upgrade it to use some modern technology. I just don't feel safe only having handguns. There's still a great risk of getting killed if someone breaks into my house. I want 100% safety guaranteed.

m8 for protection against niggers breaking into your home use an IFV. A 20mm autocannon is more than enough firepower for anything small enough to get through your window. Plus it's cheaper and easier to maintain.
