OK to any of you professional combat experts, tell me; is pic related a meme? What mean is in any /k/ related scenario or setting, there's always gonna be ONE guy or gal who's some expert maksman but uses a bow and arrow as a gimmick or "signature weapon." Despite being in a scenario where people have long range guns and robots that can shoot missiles in your face.
Seriously, how "applicable" is the whole archer thing in a modernized or "futuristic" combat scenario? Or is it just a silly fictional thing because guns and drones beat bow-and-arrow?
Pic related is a character from a videogame which setting is future sci-fi with high tech guns, energy weapons (FREAKIN' LASER BEAMS), and combat robots with miniguns and missiles and what not. Again what's with the bow and arrow archer gimmick when you got guns?
Please explain.

My thoughts was that they were trying to replace the saw with something that takes m4/m16 mags when needed and saves ammo by making more precise shots. This is speculation and recollection, not hard fact.

Is this illegal? Additionally if he attacks you are you able to shoot or are you considered the aggressor because you confronted him?
I heard that if you pull a knife at all in attempt of self defense that you can catch an assault charge, and obviously you're not supposed to point guns at people who aren't threatening you with deadly force, but what if you are just holding your gun? It's not like you always have a time to holster it before you go outside, or are you just supposed to stay inside and call the cops?
