jesus christ, I hadn't gone to his channel in a blue moon and I watched this video, and it's literally the most autistic cringy thing I've ever seen
he's randomly dropping by people's houses on christmas eve and then getting butthurt when they won't fuck around in the desert with him over seeing their inlaws or other shit
what went wrong, /k/ ?
Sorry you don't take training as serious as him
When WROL and SHTF comes you'll regret it dude. Mark my words
fucking kek
Is that really why he was butthurt? I skipped that video for good reason
>>32653331
yea he shows up at some dude's house unannounced at like 9PM and the guy is hanging out with his inlaws, nutn shoves a camera in the guy's face and makes fun of him for drinking eggnog with his family instead of going out shooting
>>32653330
nutn it's past your bedtime
Well /k/, my dumbass finally fucking did it.
>>32648728
Here's the gun I did it with.
>>32648728
I will never nd
Next time ND into your mouth you irresponsible piece of shit
>PUSSY NIGGA I'MA PULL UP WIT DA DRACO
So are dracos the official meme gun of 2017?
>>32642465
Well I wanted one as a truck gun for under $500 but apparently rap music is going to fuck my shit up,
>>32642465
>work at shop
>every time a nigga walks in and sees any ak pistol its a draco
>got multiple calls a day for dracos
>still occasionally do
>always redguards asking
fucking hell its annoying
>>32642465
No, it's the meme gun of 2016. 90% the niggas saying the name don't know what it is.
TASER just released a subcompact Pulse model for ccw. What are /k/s thoughts about tasers? I am honestly thinking of picking one up to carry when I have to visit shitholes like California that don't recognize my Nevada ccw permit.
>>32673888
Tasers aren't the magic end-all-be-all they were pushed as in years past. That's something some PDs learned the hard way.
One big issue is range. The probes need a certain distance to be effective so the longer the range, the less likely they are to work up close.
Another issue is follow ups. Tasers don't always work. A probe can miss or not get through clothing. The LE models have two shots to counter this.
What's the range on this model and can it be used as a contact weapon?
>>32673888
this
>>32674452
Taser had really captured people in their marketing for about a decade before people realized how dangerous they actually are, both for the officer and for the target.
They are very situational. I would never use one for defense. Use something like pepper gel that will fucking ruin their day and their ability to attack you. You get a lot more chance to hit them with it (a debilitating stream vs a single shot).
>>32674536
I'd agree. Stopped short of outright saying it in my first post, but the Taser is really a situational LE tool and those situations don't mesh well with self defense encounters.
A good spray, something like a "tactical" pen, and situational awareness and avoidance will work better for self defense than a Taser.
her guys. im trying to convince my friend to not buy any Remington products. post horror stories, pictures of shitty rifling, bad QC, everything
>>32673783
Don't have any bad experiences with Remington, but that picture made me think of this.
Never have had a problem with Remington. Take your autism rage elsewhere.
>>32673802
Ok, now I remember.
Remington 870. Love the thing. It's cheap, reliable, otherwise simple to clean. But if you don't screw the tube cap right, the cap, pad, and spring will go flying off into the field. That's more user error thou.
Smith and Wesson Model 24. Don't have one. Pretty much don't need it with a Model 29 but whatever.

Here is a mega link to all the ones I have if anyone is interested:

What the fucks going on here

I'm curious if that was a heart/aorta shot and he managed to stay standing that long until he passed out, or if it was something less fatal and he still had blood pressure to the brain.
>>32672540
>hello darkness my old friend starts playing
>>32672569
Robber tried to hold up a store, tried to pull the hammer back I guess, shot himself.
>be Magnum Research
>be famous for the Desert Eagle and BFR
>decide to make some 1911 pistols
>put actual effort in and actually make some pretty decent pistols
>they're even reasonably priced
>but literally call them "Desert Eagle 1911"
>then emblazon "Desert Eagle 1911G" onto the slide with huge letters, like some kind of fucking billboard
Why.
They genuinely have a good product here, couldn't they have given it a cooler name and then not put a huge stamp on the slide like this?
Why does Nike put huge logos on everything?
How come every car has a company logo on its grill?
Etc etc
>>32672223
because the name is recognizable and is kind of their trademark at this point. it's the only way they could think of to draw attention to their pistols as uncreative as it is
>>32672246
Yeah but when it comes to guns, a lot of makers are more subtle about their branding.
Look at this Ruger 1911, they just laser engraved their emblem next to the ejection port.
>>32672256
They called the Jericho the "Baby Eagle" when importing/manufacturing it, couldn't they have called it the "American Eagle" (well, I guess that's an ammo brand already), or even the "1911 Eagle", or even ".45 Eagle" ?
Greetings /k/
Im new to this board, and I was gifted a (new) mossberg maverick 88, and a ruger LCR (.38 Special)
My question is: Do I need to clean them before I shoot them? How bad would it be if I shot them before a preliminary cleaning?
Shameless bump.
Apologies in advance if I come across as a Pleb.
The most they could use is a light wipedown with a slightly oiled cloth to get off any factory gunk. But desu probably not even that much. Neither shotguns or revolvers are very picky about cleaning and any cleaning you do will be more for your own piece of mind than for the sake of the weapons.
>>32672264
Much appreciated, friend.
Ok, so I was goofing off on Youtube because I have no life and stumbled across this video. Supposedly he has a "double helix rail gun" that fires plasma bolts.
I'm pretty sure it's a hoax t but I want /k/'s advise.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvrQciFL0ig
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTLCHKb20zI
>>32672027
Oh, and it supposedly can penetrate 3/8th inch AR500 steel.
>>32672027
why would this be a hoax?
there are kids on youtube that make rail guns
this is essentially a "lightbulb" launching rail gun
>>32672027
>>32672087
though the sound and penetration are definitely a hoax
i could see it penetrating a pumpkin but thats it
if it were really that potent he'd have gotten snatched up to work for raytheon long ago
Are you allowed to go camping with guns in stated other than your own? Like I live in Nj so no gun camping here, but can I bring an 870 to camp in NY or Pennsylvania so I don't get killed by skin walkers?
>>32671958
Horrible laws. Oregon anon here. Our BLM laws are...Retarded but I don't think anyone enforces them. NF lands have always been good locations but these days they like to infringe on target shooting and protection by removing rules from their website or physically posting anything. In my area they say nothing for or against so...Fuck em.
In your case I would check to see if your state laws only regulate state parks, as I'm thinking this is probably the case. Typically, unless a state is hardcore anti gun, state legislators have no say in NF lands. It's up to the area command. Is BLM the same way? I have no idea.
>>32671958
>870 to camp in NY or Pennsylvania
There is not much public land in PA that you camp on outside of improved campsites. You're governed by the rules of the campsite and the game code. Walking around the woods of PA with a loaded rifle is a good way to get cited for hunting out of season or hunting without a license. You don't need to fire a shot to be convicted of hunting without a license.
>>32671958
>Living in a shit State
Calling you guys New England really is appropriate.
Thoughts?
>threaded barrel
>takes ar mags
>fiber optic iron sights standard
>$700
AR's restricted in my state. Is mossberg a meme?
>>32671853
Reported poor quality. Has a bolt hold open if you're autistic and care about that. Pretty neat otherwise. I'd rather get a Ruger American or Savage Axis in .308.
>>32671961
Gotta agree with this guy OP. It's a neat concept that I really want to like, but it's still a mossman. There's more solid/reliable options out there for the money.
>>32672093
>>32671961
the only thing I've heard is they have a rattly bolt when open
Do you have sources for these claims?
>shtf
when will this meme die?
>>32671541
have you ever heard of Katrina, or any other natural disaster? kys
>>32671541
>the world will last forever
do you have down syndrome?
>th- the gubmint's gunna take m- muh funz!!
As great as ARs are, the market is saturated and I see them everywhere.
I just yawn whenever I see an AR. Call me a hipster faggot, but I want to see other scurry 'salt weppns that aren't an AR-10 or AR-15. 9mm ARs are fine though.
Extra points for something "rare"
/rummages
This one's in 5.7mm and ejects downwards through the magazine well. It has extra wound vectors and stuff.
>>32671510
Does this count?
