This been bothering alot ever since I now got a gun.
I live in Arkansas and I'm concerned about a what if scenario on my end.
What if one day I have a guy over at my place to help me get boxes packed up and he decided to bring a case of beers but he starts to drink them down like crazy to the point he already went through a case of beers and now drunk off his ass but won't calm down.
Like he would start being obnoxious and rude to me and I were to ask him please leave and go home but he refuses and starts getting aggressive and more aggressive with you?
Then he starts to ball up his fists and starts shouting at me and gets in a threatening out of control and I have no time to call 911 because he will have enough time to beat me up and kill me.
So I go and grab my gun and load the chamber and cock the gun and demand him to leave now which he would see the gun and suddenly flees from my domain because I had a gun with me because I was in fear of my life but didn't had the chance nor time to actually shoot him because he choosed to leave then because of me grabbing the gun.
How much would I be fucjed in terms of legality and law with me being in fear of my life and having to use a gun to stop him and get him to leave before he did something unpredictable to me due to him being out of his mind and control?

Is a crickett a stupid rifle to get?
Will I get laughed out of the range?
I just want to develop my shooting skills at the range. I'm 18 and have shot many guns, ARs AKs 45.s and 9.s etc. Just not very often. It would be my first gun. I need something easy to maintain that I can keep in my car. Also cheep ammo.

They are built like tanks and will outlive you.
The muzzle blast from .44 mag out of a 5 inch barrel will be considerable, and should be fun to witness.
Bisley grips were designed as "target" grips for early colt SAA's. More practical on a gun with a better sight radius like a 7.5"
The target sights are nice and will get the job done. Spring kits are available to improve the triggers.

I have two of the full-size Bisleys in .45 Colt.
The hammer spur is a lot more conveniently placed with the Bisley grip and hammer. The recoil is more straight-back, as opposed to the usual Super Blackhawk muzzle flip. I've shot a 4.625" Super Blackhawk in .44 magnum, and it had a decent muzzle flash and was pretty loud, but it was reasonably light for what it was.
I have a Bowen Rough-Country sight I need to install on my 5."5" blued Bisley. I also want to buy another set of Elk grips.
