>owns FDE firearms
>doesn't live in a desert
Can someone explain this autistic trend to me? It looks ridiculous when people show up to the range with tan firearms when there isn't a desert within a thousand miles
Iraq war flashback simulation. (Even though the fags that buy this shit is a bunch of Call of duty pussies)
>>32892946
Because people like different colors. People think I'm autistic as hell for having an FDE AR here in MN but I like the way it looks and there are more places than the desert that are tan. It's more camouflaged when I take it to WY for hunting

doesn't get scorching hot like black does. even a2 plastic grips get too hot to touch here.
Why is it that the only strategy that Commies know is zerg rushing?

Deep Battle Doctrine isn't a Zerg rush

Underrated guns thread.

Hope to get one of those once in my life. Fucking love CZ, one of the best gun brands!
Not underrated though. It's a -really- new gun, and if you would have done some research, you'd know the buyers are lined up for them. Especially the new version which will be coming out shortly.

There's no timeline for the 806 coming to American civilians.
I had no father growing up, but now I'm 20 and I want to learn how to do all the things that I missed growing up.
Can someone from Texas be my friend and roleplay as my father and take me out camping, hunting, and shooting? I will pay for everything, I am a med student.
>I will pay for everything
>I am a med student
Holy contradictions batman.

I've always been told and just kind of just accepted that revolvers are mechanically complicated and difficult to work on (#1 thing I heard is, "You'll fuck up the timing"). I only really just started getting into shooting revolvers and I'm starting to actually dig into this a little bit more, and I feel like my GP100 is VERY straightforward to work on, and it makes way more sense to me than most of my semi autos do.
Has anyone else heard similar to me? Is the GP100 easier to work on than other revolvers, or are they generally all mechanically simple? Is there anything in particular I need to worry about when it comes to working on this gun in particular or revolvers in general (Mostly talking about light trigger work, but any aspects of specific note would be interesting)?
>>32892753
The only thing difficult about revolvers is remembering the order of reassembly when you put it back together.
>>32892753
>difficult to work on
What do you mean?
Do you mean take apart and clean? Pretty unnecessary
Or, fiddle fuck around with stones and files? Easy to fuck up
Rugers are easier to work on than S&W because of the side plate.
>>32892753
The gp100 and sp101 are about as easy to work on as it gets for a revolver. Which is a good thing in my eyes.
Do some polishing and some shims and drop in some wolf springs and that gp100 is a wonderful gun.
Howdy folks, i want to edit a few pictures of russian troops in the middel east, in a pic related fashion. Do you guys have any good pictures saved?
Why do these look like edited ArmA 2 screenshots?

cause they are from a modded arma 3 version

I like to lurk these threads although I don't drink or smoke. I see them more as a hangout thread
I have no self control, so I've decided not to drink anymore lol

atf threads are just edc threads but with booze instead of wallets and knives. the entire point of these threads is to let everyone know how cool your whiskey is and that you smoke a pipe unironically.

Calling all Navy-Anons, I'm in great need of your assistance. So I'm enlisting in the navy this year, and my top two job choices are Nuke ET and Regulare ET (ET=Electronic Technician). I was told by an anon that the nuke program is never worth it, and he recommended me to go to you guys, saying that I'd understand why.
Do red pill me on why the nuke programs apparently isn't worth it.
Short answer? You'll kill yourself. Long answer? It's an awful way to spend six years of your life and you should go intel instead.
>>32892318
Please go into more detail Anon. What makes it so bad ? I'd like to know so that I can make the best decision possible for me.
>>32891424
former nuke here.
i spent 6 years in on submarines as a nuke electrician, made E-6, was up for E-7 and would have made it if i didn't get out.
I don't regret joining, i loved my job but hated being in the navy more than anything.
every time being underway i dealt with the non nukes trying to kill everyone on the submarine constantly. I have never in my life met so many people that were that fucking stupid confined in one place. I am honestly surprised more submarines haven't sank because of the retards driving them.
everything sucks, I'll say again, EVERYTHING sucks. You will work harder and longer than anyone else all while being treated like shit from everyone except your peers. Your only kind of escape is doing maintenance on equipment because most people wont bother you if you look busy.

What can /k/ tell me about this caliber?
Is it worth the investment for a bolt action in this caliber for varmint hunt and plinking?
Bump for further info plox (you know you fags are better that jewgle...just dish already)..
I've been thinking either that or .22 magnum.
But damn, rimfire is shit. I hate it that you can't even dry fire without damaging the gun, and the ammo itself is unreliable.
>>32891423
It's a very nice case for wildcatting, but it's been far superseded for actual use.
