I feel like it's just me but has anyone noticed to constant "go back to /pol/" or "fuck off back to /pol/ you racist" When a thread is going nicely and some guy makes a tiny joke remark that's /pol/ in nature the entire thread devolves into "fuck off to /pol/" or debating National Socialism or stupid shit like that. I get that /pol/ is annoying when it's unironically all "hurr durr fascism is great" or "muh race war" and the meme about "Germany best tech in WW2" is annoying as hell but it's gone to the point where making a joke or comment will devolve the thread. Like for example if you post that you like the way German uniforms look during WW2 you will get many responses which just shit up the thread, like I understand the uniforms were not made by Hugo Boss and I know the Nazis did horrid and disgusting things but I can like a uniform right? I come to /k/ to talk about guns not to see a guy who identifies as an un-ironic Anarcho Communist debate someone who is an un-ironic Fascist.

Ok /k/. I have found several decent L-39s within my price range, all in running order and upto date with maintenance . I also found a semi auto M2 .50 for 12,000 but since Im going to spend possible 100,000 on a plane I might just find a full auto M2 and jump through the hoops with the ATF.
Now the legality side is this. Im going to build a gunpod out of a large propane tank to house the M2 and ammo. I will probably use radio control for the firing mechanism instead of having to pay a mechanic to rig up a internal system to control the gun.
But is this considered a destructive device? Would I have to register the entire plane or just the gun pod?

Putting together a "Shit Hits The Fan" kit with the essentials in case something goes down in my city. Assuming it was a lawful shooting, yes.
Or at least that's the theory. I've heard horror stories about peoples expensive guns getting "lost" in the police lockup. I don't think that's very common though. When I was involved in a shooting they just took my gun, ran its S/N against the registry to make sure it wasn't stolen, and let me be on my way.

Have you had any experiences with norinco?
I have:
I bought a norinco m14 (m305) few years ago. Constant failure to feed and failure to eject.
Got a proper scope mount, replaced the main spring and the ms guide, the piston and the extractor.
Works flawlessly now, although some of the mags that initially came with it don't work properly. bought several usgi mags abd they work great
How are the norinco 1911s?

rusts constantly.
lose rear ghostring since the stock norinco screws are garbage and find out on the internet i was supposed to replace them with american screws and locktite em. the screws were available at any hardware store for 5 bucks in a common thread. not like that will do me any good now since i lost the damn thing and customer support is non existent.
the firing pin breaks cant contact iac end up replacing it with a real rem part. 15 bucks with shipping.
replace the stock with wood for looks find out the reason the gun weighs so damn buck more than a rem is the plastic stock is thick as fuck. it actually got lighter by a lb when replaced with wood.
despite all the flaws which would cause a shitstorm for an actual 870 im okay with the gun. cause the gun was 150 bucks new. at that price as long as it didnt explode in your hands its a good buy. even with all the "upgrades" and replacements its still under 250.
if i had to redo things i would have not bought furniture for it and the only mod would be the screws. its excellent as a $150 gun. at 300 not so much.
rough as fuck but still a better value than an express.

The 1911s are solid. Better than quite few other makers.
Finish is not the greatest and there are some machine marks and sharp edges present.

So I started getting into shooting more and finally picked up a walther 9mm and a Taurus .40 to take to my range, if you can call it that, that I built. I practiced shooting from cover at about 15 yards, popping aiming and shooting spending no more than 3 seconds uncovered. Then took my time shooting at 25 yards.
I know I'm about to get shit, especially for the .40 (it was free), but any advice on how to improve my aim from shooting from coverand any general tips on pistol firing a would be appreciated
