Now that Boeing is tasked on making the F-18 great again, what changes do you think will happen to the plane?

It will be steadily phased out and replaced by the superior F-35.

Any of you guys fail penis inspection at the range? Going to go shooting tomorrow and I'm kinda scared. Any tips or advice?

Just remember to trim up a bit. Makes everything look better down there. Nothing like that one weirdly long hair that sticks straight out.
>Tfw scared of going in the Range showers
I normally just wait till I get home to shower but I know its best to wash off the lead as soon as possible but I am just too shy.
Just gotten broken up with, lads. Can we have a thread of old war pictures?
Vietnam and prior should work, Eastern Front of WWII would make this God-tier.
Thanks boys.

Hey guys, first time gun owner here. I bought glock 19, and I'm looking for a CCW holster. Concealing in winter will be easy, but I'm afraid about summer. I only wear a T-shirt and chinos. I need no print at all, since I'm not allowed in some situations to carry in my country (but I will). Also people freak out, when they see a gun which is not on a policeman.
Also, any other tips for CCW? Do you carry with a round in the chamber? I think I got pretty good situational awareness, so I would be able to chamber the first round.
Thanks for the recommendations.
a round in the chamber is the difference between life and death.
>>32918752
I'm scared about shit like sitting down with a pen in my pocket, and the pen pulling the trigger. But I haven't decided where to wear the gun yet.
>>32918777
It's called using a holster that covers the trigger guard, carrying a Glock loose in a pocket is the realm of blistering morons.
>needing no print at all because you're carrying illegally
>buying a G19 instead of a G43, S&W Shield, or other extremely slim belly gun
/k/ I went shooting for the 3rd time in my life today. Why do I suck so much? I mean I understand sucking because of no experience, but I haven't really seen any improvement in my shooting since the 1st time.
I'm using irons on an AR and my right eye has terrible vision. My left eye is good but I feel very uncomfortable shooting left handed. So I guess my excuse could be that my shooting eye has terrible vision but still.
I want to get a red dot so I can shoot with both eyes open, it's hard for me to see at 25 yards when I just aim with my right eye. But now that I'm getting down on myself about my shit aim, I wondering if a 1x-6x scope would be better. Can I shoot with both eyes open with a scope? Also, I'm trying to prepare for SHTF so idk how practical a scope would be. All I know, is I'm pretty bummed ;_;
Will post my target here in a minute.
>>32918673
Get glasses?
>>32918673
Also the lighting at my gun range is terrible, so that could be a factor as well
>>32918680
I don't have vision insurance, and glasses are for cucks. But mainly, as I said, im preparing for SHTF, so glasses would be more of a burden than anything, they'll just end up breaking.
How ready do you think your country for a war with China?
What are you doing personally to prepare for it?
Australia
If ASEAN was at war with China as well, we could use Indonesia as a meat shield.
If it's America vs China, China would probably destroy the East coast, but the rest of the country would be defended by America's strategic assets here.
Either way, I'd laugh and flee to America to seek asylum and guns.
Every pay day I go to a rub and tug that operates above a chinese restaurant. The madame talks to the girls in mandarin. I'm trying to learn it by immersion.
>USA
Our countries won't go to war in my lifetime. Their economy is dependent on selling us cheap shit and putting us into debt and our way of life is dependent on them doing it.
Why didn't the nazis use jews as a "shield" in their battleships, tanks and so on?
The Bismarck Battleship had 2.200 men inboard when it was sank, why didn't the Nazis kept like a 100 or more jewish as hostages the ship? I don't think they would have committed as much to sink the ship (they kept firing for many hours after the ship were disabled) to murderer everyone inboard.
I guess the Nazis didn't had any moral impediment to not use jews as shields, so why didn't they do it? Like spreading the information they were tying a jew in front of every tank and etc, I think it would messes with the head of the allies firing against them, wouldn't it?
*(except from the soviets, they enjoyed sinking ships with 5000+ civilians)
Someone actually typed that.
wow
>>32918392
it was the 1940s. nobody liked the jews.
lol nigger what the fuck
im a jew and even i wouldnt want to be stuck on a ship with 100 other jews
i cant imagine the nazis would want to be; if i were them i would take my chances with the british torpedoes

I think they'll be fine.
So I'm not a gun expert or even remotely close. I only have one gun now, it's a Glock 19 gen4.
I searched this forum for the Taurus Judge and found nothing. I want to know, is this a good buy?
It can shoot .410 2.5" Shotshell ammo. So does that mean this is basically a little mini shotgun?
My reasons for owning a gun are simple: home defense and nothing more. I don't care to spend a lot of money on different guns or being a good marksman or anything like that. I have a family and want to be able to defend them if something bad happens.
Given these stipulations, I ask again: Is this a good buy for someone like me? Any other recommendations for discrete home defense weaponry?
Thanks in advance for any advice. Here is a link to the gun on Academy's website.

Your g19 is better in every way
>>32918356
It's a novelty. Get it if you like it.
>>32918356
The Judge is a range toy at most. If you're looking for a shotgun as a HD gun, go with a 870 or mossberg 590. The shot pattern of the .410 at anything near a considerable distance will have little effect on a perpetrator due to spread.
Can /k/ recommend me a carry handle mounted optic for my colt sp1? I don't want to put a rail on it because it will ruin the retro look of the rifle. I cant get a good sight picture with eyes on.
Although it isn't the cutting edge of optics technology anymore, the Colt 4x20 carry handle scope they made back in the day can take a real beating and keep going. Also, they're still not too terribly expensive if you look around
>>32918341
Armson OEG, faggot.
>>32918341
Can get something like this for it. Works for the Israelis.
Red pill me on the Ruger 10/22 as your primary SHTF weapon...
I have an AR I am going to put a longer range scope on, and I am thinking of getting a 10/22 with a red dot as a <100yrds type shooter
a gun is a gun and you don't need an elephant gun to kill someone. a 22 can do what needs to be done easily and if you live in a city you're not going to be fighting long range and .22 rounds are cheap and you can carry a billion rounds on you as you move without adding a ton of weight
>>32918320
Cheap as they get
Reliable
The AR of the .22 world
Just do it. Literally nothing but your cash to lose. But this is /k/
We do that already.
>>32918320
>Red pill me
where do you faggots come from, and can you please stop coming here
In the event of a SHTF scenario after world collapses and restarts, with nations and civilizations/society going back to normal.
Will the new guns look like their old world counterparts or will new inventions rise from the ashes?

>The US Navy and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) have successfully completed the first ballistic missile intercept flight test of a Standard Missile-3 (SM-3) Block IIA.
>SM-3 is a defensive weapon developed by Raytheon that has been designed to defeat short and intermediate range ballistic missile threats.
>The anti-ballistic missile was launched by crew members on board the US Navy’s third Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS John Paul Jones (DDG-53) during the test procedure.
>The missile successfully engaged and destroyed a land-launched target intended to simulate an advanced ballistic missile threat.
Looks like ASBM are becoming increasingly counterable with each passing day.
