Bows are awesome. Archery is immutably cool. Evolutions in weapons technology cannot dethrone the cool factor of just firing off wooden dicks with a bow and arrow. Plus they have a variety of badass trick arrows which can do far more damage and have a much greater utility than a simple gun.
This rigorous obsession with everything being practical and realistic is the cancer that's slowly siphoning the life out of creative media.

Yeah if by "simple gun" you mean 8mm nambu. Something that can be stopped by a few wooden boards isn't nearly as destructive as a firearm

Alright senpai let's go bear hunting in Alaska. You bring a bow, I'll bring a 12 gauge with slugs.
You know who's still going to be alive afterwards?

You don't own any guns.
>>32952251
Glocks just werk. Literally the only thing you may need to change on a Glock is the sights, and honestly the stock sights aren't even that bad. Handguns are made for close quarters encounters.
There are $800+ 1911's that come with shitty GI sights and nobody complains.
Featuring cards, because Valentines soon <3

Hello /k/. American stationed in South Korea here. I was wondering if someone could help me find some images that I need to make charts and training aids.
What I am looking for is a list of ROK military ranks, a list of North Korean military vehicles like the "big 5" Soviet vehicle chart and any charts and training aids of com bloc weapons. If someone can track down an image of Daewoo guns disassembled that would be great too. I happen to own a sporter K2 in the US but don't have any good images that would make a good training aid.
Thanks.
Army ranks coming right up Sir.

No, it comes with multiple backstraps. My buddy just bought one. It's a great gun.
How would one go about hunting various animals from around 50 million years in the future?

Good luck. Starting a business is rough but as long as you keep items that will move off the shelf fast and don't keep too many things that will hang off your walls for years you should do fine. Remember to be patient when dealing with idiots and lookie loos. Padding reviews on yelp and google will help too. Also eyeball the other stores and see what they don't have. The one store in my area that carries shit like Arsenals and VEPR guns is doing more than the others that only carry ARs and fudd hunting guns. And undercut your rivals for transfers. Just getting people inside to pick up their shit will help you sell ammo and accessorizes.
>>32952103
Except we do need them. Imagine what America would be like without guns.
Serious question. How legal is it to buy and sell guns as a private owner for profit in Washington state (Yes I know, liberal state. Blah blah blah). Say I have a collection of around 10 firearms. How would I go about selling these legally? At what point do I go from being a private citizen selling guns to being an arms dealer?
>>32951828
It's illegal in all 50 states to sell firearms for profit without a FFL
>>32951844
This.
>>32951828
Unless you're doing it for noncommercial reasons (which would fall under private sale/transfer) you NEED an FFL.
>>32951828
>At what point do I go from being a private citizen selling guns to being an arms dealer?
The moment you prove beyond a reasonable doubt you are doing it with the intent to make a profit. Considering you just posted this, that would be whenever the ATF decides to press charges.

>On Feb. 8, an interaction characterized by U.S. Pacific Command as 'unsafe' occurred in international air space above the South China Sea, between a Chinese KJ-200 aircraft and a U.S. Navy P-3C aircraft," it said.
>The KJ-200 is a propeller airborne early warning and control aircraft based originally on the old Soviet-designed An-12.
>"The Department of Defense and U.S. Pacific Command are always concerned about unsafe interactions with Chinese military forces," Pacific Command added.
Baaaawwwww, how dare the chinese come close to our spy plane with a transport plane sized AWACS while we spy on them close to their Waters? Do they want to try our pilots with their radar beams?
>Threatening to ram your AWACS into planes
This is why China will lose the war.
>Spy Plane
>unsafe
So it's ok to spy on the capabilities of other nations but when someone tells you to 'frig off' it is considered unsafe? The mere presence of the spy plane is an act of war in itself.
>>32952473
Flying your spy planes in international airspace is completely legal and certainly not an act of war. Flying your plane right up alongside another one is in fact an unsafe act.

Does anyone have experience with the Rock Island Armory 1911?
If so, would you recommend it for an entry-level 1911
If not, do you have any suggestions as to an affordable 1911 range piece?

You're not wrong, that's for sure. It's really not that bad though, most methheads are terrified of being reported and don't bother their neighbors. A barbwire fence, a few dogs, and an obviously displayed game camera are usually enough to deter any would-be burglars.
