Selling my 1-4 and getting an Aimpoint T2. What mount should I get: Bobro, ADM, Scalarworks, or KAC?
>>34966285
thats fair.
buy eotech
Fucked with one of these things at my LGS today and I think I want one. I want to SBR it, add some kind of linear comp, and shove it in a backpack for impromptu happenings.
Anyone actually own one of these fugly things? Or better yet SBR'd it? What am I looking at in terms of quality or anything to watch for in general? Should I forego SBRing and just carry it in an autistically large backpack (maybe a Vertx Gamut Plus)? Thoughts would be appreciated.
>>34965978
I've wanted one for a while but don't think I'll ever get one.
So the issue is that the barrels are like molded or epoxyd in place so getting it out wrecks the receiver. I wanted to do the same thing but hit that roadblock. But you can just buy the pistol version and add the grip/stock.
>>34965978
For a civvy self defense gun these are great. My friend owns two and they are far more accurate than you'd think. I've asked him to sell me one but no-go!
What keeps you up at night, /k/?
>stupid gun restrictions, coming soon to [insert state here]
>another AWB from a near-future president (inb4 "another 4 years")
>another Regan/1968/1934-esque gun control act
>having to sell funs for funds

I just want a cheap Enfield and Mosins that aren't over $350. Not to mention other good surp guns

pics from cheap surplus land pt. 2
deadass... all memes aside this is a neat thingo
So I want to buy a surplus ruck or pack that has lots of after-market potential and is easily customizable. I require something that is between 30L and 60L, but is still comfortable for traversing uneven terrain and mountains. I do a good bit of hiking and hunting in a mountain wilderness area in GA. I was thinking a Swedish LK35, Dutch Air Force ruck, or a medium ALICE pack.
Any gear queers or militaryfags that are well versed in packs and such?
How conceal carry appendix without print? What am doing wrong? Sorry from mother russia.
>>34965237
appendix carry works fine if you are fit or skinny
too big a belly and appendix carry will not work
>>34965237
I was going to make a thread about this but there's this one.
I carry a Shield in 9mm. I'm 6' 2", 165 lbs. With my natural posture, you can pretty clearly see the grip in my shirt. By which I mean, I can see it when I look down, and you could spot it if you were looking for it, but the average person might not make the connection. However, I'm autistic and want to print as little as possible.
I've been told a gun belt would help. It didn't, seeing as it's not a weight issue; again, Shield.
I'm pretty sure a holster with a claw/wing that pushes back on the belt would be perfect. Anyone have any suggestions?

i'm 5'11" 170lbs and no problem appendix carry a ruger lc380

I'm more worried about my neighbors chimping the fuck out
>>34969539
I doubt that will be an issue for me. Several people in my family have come over to ride out the storm and we are all has guns.
>>34969561
I'm hasguns too but I really don't wanna have to use em
Either way I'm all stocked on food, water, medical supplies, misc stuff like blankets and flashlights, and I bought a couple extra boxes of 5.56 and 9mm. This storm could be exciting
What are the best C&R guns under $400? My father in law has a C&R license, but he is a fudd that's more stingy with his money than a jewish accountant, so his advice is useless 90% of the time.
Rifles or pistols are fine, I just want some quality shit that won't break the bank, I am a poorfag.
>>34969494
absolute cheapest you can get is a spanish mauser for like $150
mosins go for at least $250 these days
yugo mausers come in at about $300 and up depending on condition
SKSes are hardly cheap anymore but under $400 is doable
Why does /k/ hate me?
>>34965164
Because you suck nigger balls.
>>34965164
Because you're a Jew.
>>34965164
Because you never fucking work reliably even when i change every damn spring in you and when im done putting one fucking mag through you, youre far more filthy than any of my guns to the point it hinders operation
Rant over, youre actually a ton of fun and i love you

How do you feel about not being able to serve? How do you cope with thoughts rolling around in your head?
I came from a poor and abusive family and at age 17, I was eager to join, but everyone told me I would be disqualified for needing an actual diploma, not an equivalency, and for my self-harm scars. I went to college for five years, and I was four classes away from graduating, when a terrible incident got me expelled.
It seems obvious that I shouldn't join. I'm insane, I'm a tranny, I've already gone to college to study, and should probably look for a job in my industry instead of "stepping backwards" to the military.
Still, I always lament that I couldn't join that exclusive class of people of fighters with unique strength and experience who are unanimously praised by the lower class civilians, at least in most of America.
I'm tempted to talk to a recruiter again, even though I know it's a stupid idea for me. I can only beat myself up over this.
So how do you feel? Rationalize? Accept?
There was a time when I tried to rationalize a resent for the military to make myself feel better, but that was just desperate.
And of course, there's also the possibility that I am disillusioned with an ideal image of the military.
>i'm an emotional wreck should i sign up for a high stress profession
funniest thread on the catalog
>>34965085
That's not what I'm asking. It's obvious I shouldn't. I'm just asking about dealing with the thoughts afterwards.
Can /k/ give me a run down on the differences, pros/cons, etc for the different HK models in 9mm? Their site doesn't really give me much other than dimensions. What are the major differences between the VP9, P30, P2000, and USP?
>>34964714
VP9 is striker fire.
P30 is a VP9 in hammer fire form and based from USP.
USP is USP and pure sex.
P2000 is a more affordable USP series gun.
What do you want to know more
>>34964728
Just trying to sort it out. All I could really tell was the VP9 was striker. They all seemed so similar I was trying to see what the purpose or stand out feature for each one was.
>>34964762
They are fairly similar. The p30 is an evolution of the USP and the p2000 I believe was created for duty use for agents however I could be wrong in that detail.
