Sniper, GEP gun or Minicrossbow?
>>33003402
GEP Gun is the most silent way to eliminate Manderley
>>33003408
The GEP gun might be useful. They have a security bot on patrol near the Statue
entrance.
PAUL!
Unatco hurt my weewee.
When I was 19 I moved out. There were peoples homes being broke into.
So I buy a gun. Levergun in .45 (dumb choice for HD, I know)
Fast foward a few weeks.
>Mom visits
>She sees gun
>goes ballistic (pun intended)
>goes to her house
>tells everyone
>everyone except uncles disown me
>go on a buying spree to spite those who disowned me
Am 20 now. Anyone else have family issues regarding your guns?
>>33003077
so now everybody knows you own guns at that address
hopefully you have a heavy gun safe to protect them right ?
otherwise stop buying all those guns because likely you will want to sell them in a few years anyway
>>33003077
My dad bought me my first bb gun at like 4. Sorry your family doesn't respect personal choices OP. Can't pick your family.
>>33003101
I have a gun safe now that I own more than 1. Only my uncles visit since the whole thing happened.
Hey /k/ I need your advice today.
To make it short: I live in germany and I'm about to inherit a couple of guns in a few years.
In germany you are only allowed to own two short guns,or in this case handguns, unless you inherit them,at which point you are banned From buying any more until you sell enough of to get below two.
However, handguns purchased before the inheritance can be kept.
So now I am looking for two nice handguns that I Plan on shooting and keeping my entire life to add them to our collection
Right now we own a P210 in 9mm and 22lr,A 38. Special Revolver and a luger p08 From the war.
I have been looking at 1911s and Sigs because I want a gun in 9mm and one in MUH FUDDYFIVE
Does /k/ have any good suggestions?
>>33003066
You're telling me you're allowed to own guns (hunting license I understand) and you don't have two g17 for you know what yet? Step it up Volksgenosse.
>>33003066
Cz 75
>>33003141
For you know what?
Anyone on /k/ lived in a ghetto before?
>>33002967
Yes. I'm from Rocinha originally. What's up?
>>33002988
Just wondering how many here got interested in guns because they lived somewhere awful
>>33002967
>>33003001
Yeah, central FL. I wouldn't say it got me into guns but it definitely gave me the urge to have one on me at all times.
>khazakstan helicopter gets lost and asks for directions

is your military this incompetent?
>>33002953
Probably doesn't have the right navigation equipment and the weather looks like absolute shit. Not a wonder if it got lost, this used to happen a lot in WW1 and I'm sure it still happened in WW2 as well.
I'm in the uk, we had a flight of three USAF Pave Hawks land on our local golf course because they veered off route and didn't have the fuel the fuel to circle about trying to refined their course. So they emergency landed on our golf course to had to replot their route.
I'm in the county which till recently had two USAF bases, that was the first time in my area they fucked up badly.
Apart from that they keep crashing and sometimes dieing.
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/jan/07/norfolk-helicopter-crash-cley-next-sea
Our pilots are capable of flying our coast without crashing or ditching, why can't Americans?
>>33002953
>is your military this incompetent?
yes
they can't even pacify a bunch of dirt farmers and goat herders
Is the Nugget still a good starter milsurp rifle? Milsurp stuff has always appealed to me but I'm just getting into it now. It looks like I held off too long, as the price went way the fuck up.
And what's the best place to get one? Local gun store, person to person, or is there a specific online store that its worth doing a FFL transfer for? I remember drooling over classicarms back in the day but it seems that they're kinda normie tier instead of crazy grandpa tier like they used to be.
Maybe if it was still a couple hundred bucks for a crate
>>33002811
I don't see why not. 7.62x54R is still widely available with a variety of commercial loads; the cheap surplus has dried up, is all.
>>33002811
>Is the Nugget still a good starter milsurp rifle?
not really, at this point you're better off getting a Yugo Mauser instead.
>And what's the best place to get one?
some online stores still sell some for a decentish price every once in a blue moon; your LGS might have some but they'll probably be overpriced.
if you want one just to have one then get it, but try to get one for about $200. Hopefully you've learned your lesson about waiting too long to jump on the surplus gravy train and have ordered a few Bulgarian Maks/P64s before they get super-expensive.
ITT utilitarian guns
Not allowed:
-plastic guns
-tacticool, rails n shit
-complexity
-overengineering

One gun is utilitarian and it is AK.

>>33002804
>fancy semiautomatic
FP-45 is truly utilitarian
>no "ergos"
>no safety
>no ejector/extractor
>no rifling
It's a gun in its purest form, pull trigger and get bang.
So it broke down, le brake meme, whatever.
What disturbs me more is that the recovery vehicle was unable to move it.
How is it supposed to recover one of these things when it takes battle damage and loses multiple road wheels and its tracks? How does Russia think they're going to pull one of these out of a muddy ditch if their engineering vehicles can't move it when just the brakes are on and the armata isn't helping?? This seems like a very serious logistics issue.
just ask Americans how they do with 20t heaver tank
>>33002774
Tanks stuck in the mudd are always a pain in the ass, if one doesnt work, you just pull with two in a row. As for the parade, my guess is they were trying to move get it moving and not just draggin it along no matter what, ruining the whole fucking street on the parade route.
Have you tried moving a vehicle that hit the brakes? Fucking idiot
Great purchases for a first time gun enthusiast?
>i'm from california
>>33002635
Mossberg 500
or Mossberg 88 if you are dirt poor
Pump shotty is legal in all 50 states and are super versatile
>>33002635
Dragon dildo, either the werewolf one or the horse with the cum tube and a bunch of cumblube bottles so you can use it at the range a couple of times.
Since you're a first time, don't go with anything thicker than a coke can, you need to train yourself to handle the big guns.
/K/'s thoughts on this show?
that guy looks like the younger version of john waters
>>33002399
>>33002437
If this doesn't give you a fucking boner you should grab a PTRS Rifle point it at your head and pull the trigger
>>33002222
I also appreciate Tunguskas.
>>33002722
Good on you for using the proper symbols at least...

How do we modernize our equipment?
Why not give everyone a suppressor?
Why is everything still so heavy and primitive?
How can you complain about weight and want to add a suppressor in the same breath?
There is no more modernization until mechsuits.
>we need to modernize
>lets ad molle
>fuck yeah ppl in the field can carry more weight
>kek we'll never have to with cushy desk job
>quick lets make a company and get rich
>done
>>33002110
That isn't very much extra weight, and the benefits are massive. It wouldn't even be very expensive, it isn't a complex part.
How does it cycle?
What does it eat?
>>33002027
>Be the year 2076. Army commissions full auto >only rifle. Give them blowback rifle in 5mm.
>wonder why they don't just put full auto on >their other rifles chambered in 5.56
I don't get this. A vidya AR? Can I get a quick rundown?
>How does it cycle?
Who cares, its a video game
What does it eat?
5mm, a fictional round roughly equivalent to the real 4.85 British given that the only non-fictional weapon that fires it is the Enfield L70 prototype.
So I just ordered a reproduction m1913 cavalry saber from Therion Arms for $170.
I somehow cannot physically allow myself to retain more than half my paycheck. Did I fuck up?
Also military sword thread. Nobody talks about em'.
>I somehow cannot physically allow myself to retain more than half my paycheck. Did I fuck up?
Are your very well off? Do you have plenty of investments paying well? Do you have lots of reserve cash?
Toys are fun but you can't buy yourself the life of a knight.
>>33001995
I just wanted a sword to dick around with and I've always like the way the m1913 looked. I'm under no illusion that it's pretty much as useless as it's always been since decent firearms started being produced.
I'm not really well off at all. I don't have much saved up and I make minimum wage; $11 an hour.
It's a good thing I live with 3 other people so rent is cheap, but that's about all I got going for me.
>Did I fuck up?
Yes. I see absolutely no reason to purchase reproductions of historical swords unless you were to compare them side by side to a really, REALLY old sword (like a 12th century sword that is falling apart and you can barely tell what it used to be) to give the viewer an idea of what it looked like in its prime.
It's really cool to collect actual antique swords with provenance behind them. It's really autistic to buy new wallhangers that serve no real purpose at all other than to show people you're a history nerd but you don't have the money to afford the real stuff.
So basically if you don't want to look like a retard you need to go buy an actual M1913 saber now
