haha
;_;
>literal moon boots will save us from IEDs
>had a nice holiday?
How the fuck do you answer that?
why did nobody generally give a shit about the korean war worldwide?
You're at Applebees with ur gf and this thing slaps her ass. Can your ccw protect you from this mass monster? Y-you're not going to let him get away with that are you?
>>33006904
>Y-you're not going to let him get away with that are you?
Of course not, I'm going to valiantly go to jail for murder right this instant.
Pull your fucking skirt down and stop making a scene, someone else can get into a fight with the roid mong, and if it turns ugly we'll see what happens.
>>33006904
>.45 ACP
I'll keep the arms as a war trophy.
that's a deep fucking slav squat. kudos.
How is it that an M1A1 is a tank, and an M4A1 is an assault rifle?
Are you retarded or something? "M" just means model. It is arbitrarily assigned to different pieces and the context determines what you're talking about. Nobody is going to think you're actually talking about a Garand when you're talking about an Abrams.
>>33006814
M1 (garand, disintegrating link, steel helmet)
Shit thread desu
>>33006814
it's in the way US Category system works desu
>abrams full designation
tank, main battle, M1A1 "abrams"
>M4 carbine full designation
Carbine, M4A1
How many M1Abrams would it take to take out one King Tiger?
One.
>>33006508
At least 50.
The steel used to armor the king tiger was imported from Nippon and then folded over 1000 times before being mounted
>>33006508
Zero, the King Tiger would break down, the transmission would catch on fire, and burn it to the ground.
>Buy guns
>proceed to tell everyone you know you own guns
>"lol when shtf I'll be sure to come to your house anon"
>"Bet you're ready for them zombies, glad I know where to hang out when it goes down"
>"Glad I'm your pal for when the Communists invade lol."
>acting surprised when someone tries to break in
>not realizing that if something actually did happen you'd be swarmed by idiots you barely know thinking you'd protect them.
Why do people do this? It's not even a paranoia thing, just common sense.
I see no advantage in telling people I have guns. People who post on Facebook and such are asking to be robbed.
>>33006449
I've tried to tell people not to publicly state they have guns in the house. Telling friends is fine, but posting "THERE BE GUNS HEER" on your front porch is stupid.
They do it anyway.
>>33006449
Don't know.
Don't tell ANYBODY you have firearms. Family, Friends, nobody.
Somebody is going to run their mouth off. It always happens.
What does /k/ think of 20 round mags vs 30 rounders?
I think they're pretty doot-dooty.
Faggot.
30 rounders are better
feed more reliably than straight 20 rounders
curved 20 rounders are better
>>33006397
i like 20 for the bench. it also helps slow me down when i shoot, which is a good thing.
This Urban Carry holster gets pushed pretty hard on YouTube advertising. Does anyone here have practical experience with it? Is it legit or BS?
Mostly BS.
>Can't draw while sitting
>2 hand draw
>likely to toss gun at assailant (someone post the webm)
>prints while sitting
>slaps against your leg while walking
i'm sure there's more but these are the common points whenever this thread is made every other fucking day.
>>33006263
I think needing two hands to draw is kinda dumb.
>>33006293
This. Urban Carry Holsters are retarded. The type of person that buys one is impressionable and open to scams/misinformation. Literally can wear the shittiest leather IWB holster and be better off than this fucking thing.
ye olde melee
/pol/ told me my weaponfu is shit, and now I need reassurance. Is there any circumstance in which a mace is particularly advantageous? Why should a swordfaggot fear getting bludgeoned in the face with this kind of weapon? Should I give up on my bae, or defend her?
>>33006231
Maces are good vs armour if you also have full body armour on
Maces are terrible if you are less than ideally armoured, as they are poorly balanced for quickly defending yourself such as with a sword.
Use a shield and you should be /k/
>>33006231
it's not as effective as a gun, but if fighting hard targets that also do not have projectile weaponry, it's pretty ok. just hope they don't have a shield. ultimately it's about as useful as a baseball bat, just more lethal potential
>>33006231
Basically only good against armor. It makes sense--armor protects from sharp or slashing attacks far better than from blunt force, or a piercing point with a lot of force behind it.
Any time armor is not involved, it's an inferior weapon. It's slow and doesn't have great reach.
The only reason a swordfaggot fears it is because he's in armor and doesn't fear much else.
Hi guys, I know that the official designation of this beauty is Suā27. NATO calls it "Flanker", but, how do russians call it? I mean, the Iā16 was called Ishak. Has the Sukhoi a name of its own?
>>33006113
The Su-27 doesnt have an official name but its most popular nickname is "ŠypaŠ²Š»ŠøŠŗ" (Zhuravlik = Crane bird),
Another nickname i know is Bitch because it is a difficult aircraft to maintain according to ground crews (compared to other Soviet/Russian aircraft).
But because the Su-27 doesnt have an official nickname, anyone can give it a nickname they want.
>>33006113
NATO gives nicknames to all Soviet equipment throughout the years, almost always following a theme or single letter. For fighters, it's F:
>MiG-15 Fagot
>MiG-19 Farmer (because they plowed so much dirt in Vietnam? This one's weird to me)
>MiG-21 Fishbed
>MiG-23 Flogger
>MiG-25 Foxbat
>MiG-29 Fulcrum
>MiG-31 Foxhound
>Su-15 Flagon
>Su-25 Frogfoot
>Su-32/34 Fullback
etc.
Bombers are all B:
>Tu-22M Blinder
>Tu-95 Bear
>Tu-160 Blackjack
etc.
Choppers are all H:
Hind, Havoc, Helix, Hip, Hokum, etc.
Early on, most NATO names for Soviet submarine classes were based on the military phonetic alphabet (Whisky, November, Zulu, etc.) but that has fallen by the wayside with over the last 30 years (Typhoon, Akula, etc.). In this case it also causes confusion with Russian names. For instance, the Russian Akula is the Typhoon class SSBN, whilst the American Akula is the Russian Shchuka (Pike - fish not polearm) class.
And so on.
Wiki even has a page on it, now that I google a little. The names themselves are, like many code words, somewhat removed from the actual qualities of the object in question. I think the name itself matters less than the naming conventions so that you immediately know what you're hearing about in general terms even if you are unaware of the exact model.

This literally had nothing to do with what the OP asked
How do you fix procurement for the US military?
>>33005945
Threaten to drop their contract in favor of a competitor.

Shitpost about it on 4chan!
How practical would be the Sovensky Soyuz class?
>>33005824
I mean back in WW2
>>33005818
Not at all. The Red Navy got butchered to fuel the red army. Most it would've done is shell a port or just get left in port or most likely get ripped apart to make more T-34's.
Fixed

The army worked to develope a Gay bomb that never came to fruition. Could the Swedish military make a similar non-lethal chemical weapon called a Cuck bomb. It would be dropped over enemy civilian centers, and give women an insatiable urge to fuck anyone. Moral on the frontline would plummit if the troops knew their wives and girlfriends were cucking them back at home

War, war never changes
>>33005523
There was another secret project to create super soldiers that acted like cute anime girls, they are men of war, battle hardened and kawaii.
Pic related, they are immune to the gay bomb btw.
Just like the plot to poison Hitler with estrogen.

Is Browning still quality? i don't hear much of them anymore, have they turned reming-ton-o-shit?
Browning still makes guns?

They're still just fine

Yea, the Hi-Power pistols they import for FN are top-notch.
