What kind of sword is this?
tai chi sword for old people to wave about
>>33044782
This. Looks like cheap steel too.
>>33044791
It probably is cheap steel, I got is as a gift a couple years back and I can't find any information on it, I have no clue who made it or what it's even made out of and I can't really seem to figure out what kind of sword it is, I originally thought it was a version of a rapier after looking at some forums online but today I watched a video of people sparring with long swords that has very similar blade design
WTF is this generic scope on my recent aqusition? help me out anons.
It's a bushnell 3-9x40
2 turret with knurled caps
>>33044670
Just a guess, but is it maybe a bushnell 3-9x40
2 turret with knurled caps?
What'd we got amongst us? I just picked up all this.
izzat war-mint mauser ammo?
>>33044623
Mint as can be for 79 years
Can anybody tell me what kind of bayonet it is?
>>33044263
It's for an AK my dawg.
Looks like an AR-47, full-auto edition.
>>33044263
Ak bayonet type 1. Dunno the origin.
Hey all. I just turned 18 and moved out. I have about 200 dollars saved up, what would be a good gun for me to learn to shoot and strip?
>>33043973
Mossberg 500.
>>33044344
Mossberg 500's usually go for at least 350, if not more. Unless you buy a used gun, of course.
>>33043973
Get a Mossberg Maverick 88 if you want a new shotgun that has quality for that pricepoint
>>33043973
Marlin 60
Its got a good reputation, eats cheap 22 LR, and is surprisingly inexpensive.
Why were katanas so much better than longswords?
Honestly, between the increased speed, skill and martial arts of the samurai and the cutting power of the katana, knights would lose every time
Don't believe me? Here's evidence

Any of you servicemen get a chance to wargame? sandbox or field exercises- how'd that go?
>>33043869
It usually gives us a pretty good picture of how fucked your battalion and higher headquarters are.
>>33043869
I wargamed your mother's hungry cunt, guess how that turned out

yep I was a conscript for a year and since we don't deploy conscripts to foreign countries (only enlisted personell was sent to Afghanistan when I was in) all I did was either training in base or field exercises. It's a while since I was a conscript but I think we had about 15 field exercises during that year. They usually lasted for one week. We took our artillery out in the woods and practiced our stuff on the firing range for artillery. See how fast we can move around, set up cannons and so on, how fast we can deliver grenades on target, how we handle multiple incoming fire missons etc.. Since I was in the command vehicle that issued fire missions a couple of the exercises was "paper only" where we practice our skills without real cannons. That was boring as fuck. In a couple of the field exercises we didn't even use our artillery, we just did infantry stuff when was a nice change of things.
A field exercise was usually just a week with a lot of work and very little sleep.
I've put 500 factory loads through this thing and it still won't eject reloads. Every time I shoot reloads the shell won't eject and it jams. Does it just need more wear to be "broken in" ?
By any chance you haven't clean and oil the pistol since you bought it? Do you still have those copper colored grease from Glock on your pistol?
>>33043697
stop buying/making shitty reloads and use real factory ammo
>>33043697

Memes aside, honestly wanting to get the opinions of /k/. What is the purpose of the USMC in present day?
My thought would be for force projection but couldn't the U.S. Army accomplish that, with its re structuring of its units into BCT to better reflect MAGTF?
Your thoughts are welcomed here...
>>33043661
If you wanted to have a proper amphibious BCT, they'd need to have their own equipment, their own associations with the Navy, their own way of thinking. Their own air arm, to be frank. At that point, you just have the USMC. Put the USMC under the Army instead of the Navy, it changes nothing.
>>33043661
the purpose is to house the window lickers who are useful, too dumb for anywhere else, and with enough balls (females included) to go do any stupid shit uncle sam says to do
>>33043810
Here's a (you)
I just picked up a beautiful hi power as a 21st birthday gift to myself for $600. The slide is a MkIII but the frame seems to be a MkI. Can someone please help me out
>>33043412
You overpaid
>>33043454
By how much you think?

I remember the thread you made
Name a flaw

Shity plastic melts like the chocolate loving land they come from.

literally took me 2 minutes to redesign the shit skyscraper height chin weld optics plane and rail.
Do those niggers at HK even operate?!
Is 9x25 Dillon the handgun cartridge of the future? It seems capable of emulating 556x45 performance out of a 4 inch barrel.
>>33043224
It's a big cartridge
>>33043224
>5.56x45 performance
>a good thing
Why are there never any /k/ radio threads anymore?
Does anyone listen to them anymore?
>>33043213
Who the hell uses radio anymore? Computers exist for a reason.
>>33043213
Because I am too lazy to get my licence.
>>33043213
My choice for SHTF
Is this the perfect civilian handgun?
>can fit all double-stack 9mm mags
> small enough to conceal
>double-stack, enough rounds to deal with multiple threats
>shoots above its weight class
>easily concealed
> can add mag extensions that add rounds and turn it into a compact sized gun.
What is not to like? No 'it's a GLAWK' or 'glock sights' comments pls. We all know glock sights aren't for everybody (myself included), but they aren't unusable.
>>33042929
I just sent mine off to get a grip reduction job on mine. Can't wait to get it back.
>>33042929
No, it's plastic
>>33042929
There's no such thing as "perfect" when it comes to guns, ESPECIALLY on /k/ where opinions, memes, and anecdotes overshadow facts
But assuming you started this thread with honest intentions and not trolling, it is a very good option. Good capacity for size, and the assumption of Glock reliability. If I was tossed into the middle of a riot in an unfamiliar metropolis I'd be glad I had one
Would a C96 Mauser be a shitty CCW?
>>33042895
It's pretty big, so hard to conceal. It's heavy too, so a drag to wear if you spend much time walking.
it's also expensive, so when (yes, when) the police take it after you use it it'll hurt (the gun will sit in an evidence locker for years, and if (that's a big if) you get it back it will be ruined).
>>33042895
maybe
>>33042895
To bulky to be reliably concealed.
