I'll cry when i have to try and find a rear end and gearbox. I guess nobody on Ebay feels like shipping anything that weighs more than 200 pounds.

Tru. Also what is better, 30-30 it .308? I'd go for a .357 but they're stupid expensive for some reason here
Is there a cooler looking assault rifle than this?
I think not.

>The ATF only obtained a search warrant for the Myers property in Carnesville, Georgia, after the local sheriff caught the 31-year-old gun enthusiast receiving, one local source reports, butane honey oil (a marijuana concentrate) through the United States Postal Service. The warrant enabled the ATF to carry out the search, during which agents confiscated over 50 firearms, drug paraphernalia, and more drugs, possibly butane honey oil. No illegal explosives were found on the property.
So they can just send drugs to your house and say "Well, he was RECEIVING DRUGS, so we can search his house!"? Yeah, that's not open for abuse at all.
Post your /k/ webms
If you have good ones with sound post them on /gif/ in >>11163121 then link them here.
You are taken to a parallel world in the state of a Cold War & tasked with building a strong military for one of the two major powers, you can bring with you any six WWII -era figures as instructors/commanders as well as any WWII -tech except nuclear technology from one country of your choosing. The nation has access to all the natural resources and industrial capacity you may need, but their officer corps seems to have been pulled straight from Napoleonic wars. You have a carte blanche from the nation's head of state.
Hard mode: the nation you are building the military for is a WWI -era Imperial Germany -style absolute monarchy with never-ending infighting among both the military leadership and the politicians & the ruler is notorious for practicing nepotism in conflicts between his advisors and members of his extended family, the enemy is far bigger & in the middle of building heavy industry under the leadership of their own advisors pulled from WWII -era Earth.
What do you do?
>>34971700
I choose German tech & instructors
Air force: Adolf Galland in charge of fighter doctrine, Hans-Ulrich Rudel and Kurt Kuhlmey in charge of ground attack training.
Army: Heinz Guderian and Erwin Rommel in charge of mechanized doctrine, Felix Steiner in charge of infantry doctrine.
>>34971700
wait wait wait, does this go for the rest of the world too? or is it just me that has to deal with the WW2 era tech?

yes

Are you ready for confiscations over nothing, /k/? Get ready!
>During their 2017 Annual Meeting, the ABA House of Delegates adopted Resolution 118B, which “urges governments to enact statutes, rules, or regulations authorizing courts to issue gun violence restraining orders, including ex parte orders.”
>The ex parte aspect of the resolution means the ABA is pushing confiscation orders that can be issued without any input from the gun owner.

Ask Burt.
>>34970755
I happen to love mine.
The AR-18 and AR-180 variants are overhyped, overrated trash. They are fine if you manage to somehow get one for $350 (not impossible, someone on a facebook group recently got one for $750 transferred with a Mepro M21 red dot) but for anything more they're just a 5.56 piston gun with really poor external features (wobbly stock prone to breaking, wobbly handguard with slick finish that provides no grip, poor accuracy, etc.
>>34970821
Is, the handguard wobble is unacceptable
>>34970821
Whoah. Youre part of that group too?
So, what do we think about this?
How many more threads are we going to have about a mediocre pistol thats trying to catch up with its competitors?
>>34970709
>we think
>>34971679
You do realize that the competitors are the ones trying to catch up to a design Glock came up with 30+ years ago right?...
All Glock needs to do is make minor adjustments/improvements to their already proven design, while others that have been doing other things, such as hammer fired designs, have to go off Glocks design and make one of their own.
> Glock needs to be innovative and make something new
Uhmmm, no.
Why does /k/ hate Chris Kyle?
I don't hate him. I just realize that he was a pathological liar and in love with his own reputation.
>>34970742
Pretty much this.
That being said if he killed even one haji then he's done more good for the world than any of my deployments.

>No front serrations
>But they make a gen 4 "FS" (front serration) special run with front serrations
Also hope they make gen 5 available with an OD green frame from the get go so I can use it in IPSC production without breaking the "no recolouring your pistol" rule.
>>34970377

GLOCK GEN5 FEATURES:
>nDLC finish for barrel and slide – GLOCK‘s nDLC provides tougher, more durable protection than previously used finish. The nDLC finish is exclusive to the GLOCK manufacturing process. The nDLC finish increases protection against corrosion and scratching and improves the ability of the pistol to function in degreased or adverse conditions. The nDLC finish will be exclusive to Gen5 pistols at this time.
>GLOCK Marksman Barrel -The GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) features new barrel rifling which delivers improved accuracy.
>Removal of the finger grooves on the grip – Removing the finger grooves improves the ergonomics of the grip. The absence of finger grooves improves the ability of the pistol to deliver a consistently comfortable grip to a wider range of consumers, regardless of their finger size and whether or not gloves are worn.
>Ambidextrous Slide Stop Lever – The ambidextrous slide stop lever makes it easier for gun owners to quickly, safely and comfortably manipulate the slide whether they are left-handed or right-handed.
>Flared mag-well – The larger opening of the flared mag-well makes it easier to funnel the magazine into the mag-well, particularly in high-stress situations where fractions of seconds matter.
>GLOCK Gen5 Magazine – The new GLOCK Gen5 magazine comes with an orange follower and a floor plate which is extended at the front for faster magazine change.
I'm actually ok with it looking like gen 2 because I don't own a Glock yet, and like that they removed the finger grooves, among other changes.
